My friend found his old ipod touch 4. He charged it up, and it says "disabled" and i cant restore it on itunes without his password which he forgot. Can I restore it without the password.
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

My iPhone apps messed up big time. My iPod apps downloaded onto my iPhone, so i had to delete those. I know that i didnt delete the MusicDownload app but i cant find it anywhere. I paid $2.99 on that app so i thought i could find it on itunes but it wasnt on there either. How do i get this app back?

you can never buy an app more then once with an appleID and any attempt to do so will result in a free redownload
in app store on ios device one can access a list of all apps ever bought on the appleID and you can redownload them you can also limit the list to all apps ever bought on the appleid not currently installed on the ios device
sounds like you messed up your backup and restores and in the process likely what appleID's your devices are connrected to -

I have Googled for answers but they all say "use the home and wake button", but, they're broke.
There are no back ups on her computer.
Help please?Since there are no backups, she'll need to restore the phone using Recovery Mode. But since the buttons don't work, that won't work. I suggest she purchase another iPhone, backup regularly and use a passcode she can remember.

You have to put the phone into recovery mode before you can restore it. First, turn the phone off. Second, while holding down the home button, connect the phone to the computer, and keep holding down the home button until you see the iTunes logo on the face of the phone (this is recovery mode). Next you should see a message on iTunes on your computer say something like "in order to use this phone you have to restore it from recovery mode.." This will allow you to access your phone! my ipod classic is visible in windows but not in itunes, this happens on 2 different computers where my iphone and ipod touch work fine which leads me to think something is up with the ipod itself and i cant find any threads to help.

That usually means the phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock the phone and when you update the phone it locked back up again.
Only way to resolve this issue, is to find out who the orignal carrier was and have them unlock it. If you bought this from a 3rd party contact the seller and have him/her unlock it for you by contacting the phone carrier.
