Iphone Is Disabled For Trying To Unlock My Phone To Many Times , But It Says Connect To Itunes. Help?
So I Just Got My Iphone Back From The Store Fixing It , And I Just Got It Back In 4 Months , And As Soon As I Got It I Had a passcode i put on it and i tried to many attempts and it was disabled for 60 minutes , after the time was up i tried again and now its disabled and says connect to itunes , can someone please give me some brief instructions please i really want to get my phone unlocked!

So i went and updated my iPhone 4S via the settings option from the phone, next thing it asked me to connect to iTunes, i've downloaded the new ios but i've been trying for almost 5 hours, countless problems occur, waiting for iPhone, stuck at verifying, error 0xE0000xx and so on, i've tried changing cables and redownloading iTunes, nothing seems to work. Do you have a SIM in the phone?
A SIM is required to activate it.
If you DO have a SIM in it, the most common cause of this problem is a phone that was hacked to illegally unlock it and has been updated or restored. -

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -

It sounds like you are trying to back up your iPhone to iTunes, but are not able to. Did you receive an error message or other alert?

Patience and try, try again. It worked for me after trying 50+ times for 30 minutes.. felt like forever but really not that bad. It's updating as we speak.

I have been trying to unlock my phone through AT&T but it remains unlocked.
I've just come out of a 2 year contract with AT&T and I'm eligible for the free unlock. I follow the email I've been sent but still no joy. Do I need an AT&T& sim card in the phone when I do it? I've spoken to AT&T& and they say that everything is ok their end and I'm out of the 90 days apple care window. Any help or ideas will be gratefully received.
AT&T are the only ones who can assist you. You will need to talk to them.

you will need to do a hard wipe or remember the password hard wipe can be found on youtube how to. but this will erase all data
