Particularly:
Battery does not charge
Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
Try another USB cable if available.
iPhone or iPod touch displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive
If you see the image below, charge the iPhone or iPod touch with USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.
You should see this image when iPhone or iPod touch begins to charge:
If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning the iPhone or iPod touch off and then on again.
If the issue persists, follow these troubleshooting steps.

Okay so my ipod 5th generation, isnt turning on at all. It isnt charging either, its not responding at all. Now I cant restart it because my home button is broken. So what do i do? I cant buy another one, N couldnt back it up on i Cloud. so help . this had happened to me before, so i left my ipod on the charger all day and left it alone and later that night turned on. but this time that didn't work. but this time i kept trying to turn it on while it was on the charger. i need this ipod. only this one. so please help

I used assistive touch to turn off my iphone, because my lock screen button is not working, so now i cant turn it back on! What i did was, i went to assistive touch, then i held down the lock screen button to turn it off. Now i can't turn it back on.
To turn it back on when you use assistive touch, all you have to do is plug your iphone into a charger and it will power back on

That's what syncing does. It keeps the information on multiple devices "in sync" with each other. It is working as designed.
What are you syncing your iPhones with? iTunes, iCloud, Google Sync, Exchange?
If you don't want one phone to sync with the other, you'll have to turn off syncing on that phone, or change what it syncs with. -

All content purchased from iTunes is permanently linked to the Apple ID it was purchased with.

IOS 5.0.1 makes iphone 4s hang up?

since updating IOS to 5.01. my iphone gets hang up more frequently. even at the locked screen, i couldn't type my password to unlock it. seems no place on the screen works, i tried to type again and again. also when i view photos in camera rolls, i when i view it in landscape position, and want to view back to the portrait position i changed position of my phone but the photos didn't move back to portrait position no matter how i keep the phone vertical.
any one encounter with this problem?

so, i had a 3GS, backed that up. - thats the backup.
then, bought a new 4S. and wanted all my apps, camera roll, texts. and so, did a restore. (not sure if thats the term to use.)
Later, just using the phone, i did a 5.0.1 update (just updated thought the phone, the delta update)
Thats where I am now. From what i've read. next things to try are:
1. Just "Reset all settings" on the phone. This sounds quick and easy, and I don;t think i'd loose much?
2. Restore from backup. - thats where i wondered about 5.0.1 - as itunes never downloaded that, but from what you say i think.. iTunes will download that for me, so I should not worry, and just do the usual backup/restore.
Then, i think its time to show the phone to a genius in an Apple store, and just show them how it randomly locks up for several seconds..
Just wanted to make sure i'd done all the usual stuff before seeing the genius, incase they just say, to go home and try the restore.. etc.
