IPhone is stuck on connect to iTunes, can't connect to computer because it crashed. Any suggestions to get unstuck?

I tried to do the update, and went to plug the phone into my computer but it has crashed and I can't access my iTunes right now. Phone is stuck on connect to iTunes. Is there any way to cancel it and get the phone off of this without plugging it in as I now don't have access to my computer?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the computer, then sync.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone to your computer - File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

When I was connecting my iPhone 5s to my computer to update it to iOS 8 it started working perfectly fine but then it said looking for iPhone and then it wouldn't find it and it told me error and now my iPhone is stuck on connect to iTunes even though it's already connected. Of course iTunes is looking for the music on the external HDD. Enabling iTunes Match does not magically change the location of the iTunes library to the cloud.
To play the music either plug the external HDD back into your computer or create a new, empty library to use for streaming the iTM content. The latter can be accomplished by holding down the Option key when launching iTunes, choosing "create library" then enabling iTunes Match on the new library. DO NOT have iTunes scan your HDD for music.

everytime I try to open the store it endlessly says "accessing iTunes store" but it never opens.
With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

You need iTunes version 11 for iOS 7.
iTunes version 11 requires OS X 10.6.8 or later...

I cant get any sounds through the speaker. Cant hear sms or emails arrive. If the phone rings i hear it but pple cant hear me or i cant hear them.
The phone works fine with the headphones plugged in.
I have tried all the usual solutions, inserted and removed the headset (at least 50 times)
Soft reboot
full restore
Nothing seems to work. I have searched on this and it seems to be a well know issue but there doesnt seem to be any firm solutions that i can find to fix the problem

If no change after inserting and removing the headset at least 50 times, powering the iPhone off and on, an iPhone reset, and restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
Make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.
