IPhone is unresponsive and continues to reset

I intended to erase all of the information on my phone and restore it to factory setting because it was being problematic.
After pressing the erase all information on the iPhone the process began to take place. Unfortunately, the phone continually turns on, freezes in the progress bar and turns off, continuing this process for the past three to four hours. It is unrecognizable in iTunes as well.
I have recently tried to reset the phone and put it into safe mode, but it is still unresponsive.
Any recommendations are appreciated as the Apple instructions fail to give any further information in solving the matter.

If you can't do a reset or power your iPhone off and on, nothing except for restoring your iPhone.

How do I reset controls and continue or reset controls and stop?

I am trying to find a way to reset 16 controls and 8 indicators and continue or exit.
I have a system where a change in input will cause the LabVIEW to contact another processor via RS232 and send the change. There are eight seperate circuits to control and each has an enable and voltage input. I have the individual circuits operation with a change of either input but when I try to reset all 16 inputs and 16 indicators then continue or reset the inputs and indicators and stop (I need to do both) the system hangs up. In the debug (light bulb on) mode the system works but normal operation the system hangs up.

I changed a couple of things in the way you were doing the reset and stop. Look at these changes and see if they work OK.Also the vi named diode control if there is no dependency as to which one gets set first then the way you have it is ok but if there is a dependency the way you have it wired there is no guarantee which one will run first.

Iphone 4 unresponsive and flashes apple logo but itunes wont recognise it . when plugged into the mains it turns onto recovery mode and asks to be plugged into itunes, when i unplug it from the mains it turns straight off again

You could try to do a hard reset, sometimes resetting the phone helps. Hold down the sleep/wake button on the top and the home button until you see the apple logo, this make take a minute or two but this might help.

Iphone not charging and continuously restarting when connected

Last night I let my iphone 4 run down to 2% charge. I plugged it into the charger (china one) and it would come up with the electricity symbol, but not be charging. I then connected it to my genuine apple charger and the same thing happened. It then continuously restarted, i.e. apple screen for a few seconds, then my pincode screen for a split second, then the thinking and restarting symbol (round in a circle) before going black for a few seconds then back to the apple screen. I couldn't get it out of this loop, so I connected it to my itunes. The same reboot happened once, then it came up with an error message
"itunes could not connect to this iphone beause an unknown error occurred (OxE8000065)"
The next morning I unplugged and replugged the phone into the mac and a different message popped up
"The iphone cannot be synced. An internal device error occured."
It did the restart again and I tried a reset (home and lock button) but it just went through the restart back to a black screen again.
I tried it in a different USB port and possibly coincidentally, it now says on itunes
"the phone "xx iphone" cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found."
Now if I press the home button, the battery image comes up with minimal red bar. It does not go through the restart loop.
My thoughts - have I dropped it one too many times (as I had the day before) and the battery has come loose (won't charge)? If so I will pull it apart and have a look as it's 10 days out of warranty.
Should I try a DFU or Recovery mode whilst plugged into the mac? I have a back up on icloud but still chance to lose lots of data.
What do I try first or are there any other suggestions? And thank you for reading this long winded issue!

I ended up going to the Apple Store and they said it's a common problem. As my phone was out of warranty I had to pay for a refurbished one, but it still works 1 year later. Better than forking out $600 for a brand new one.

IPhone 4S time and date keeps resetting, despite being set to automatically do so.

After having recently upgraded my iOS to 7.0.4, my Verizon iPhone 4S has started to re-set the time and date every now and then at random. It does this, despite me having my Settings set to automatically set the date and time based on my location. I have called Verizon about this and all they had me do was to reset my network connections and reset my roaming capabilities...and despite me doing that this morning, the time re-set itself again this afternoon. I have found the only solution has been for me to power off my phone completely and then once on again, set the phone either into Airplane mode for a second - or to just wait until the Verizon signal switches the phone back to being the correct time and date on its own. I have also found that these issues have started to affect my ability to send and receive iMessages, as well. For some reason, when the date/time re-sets, the iMessage option becomes un-selected and I have to manually go back and turn that functionality back on. Anyone else having these same issues? It's incredibly frustrating and I'm not sure what else I can do save for constantly hard, re-starting my iPhone everytime I notice the time and date is out of whack. Also it's hard for me to tell if this is an Apple hardware issue/bug that just needs to be fixed - or something to do with Verizon. Any tips/info would be appreciated.

Try setting your time to manual. This way, the iPhone is the one controlling the time. As you correctly understand, when it is on auto, it is controlled by Verizon and their individual towers. If after setting the time to manual it works, then I would say it isn't a phone issue, but a Verizon one. Do you frequent the same area when this occurs? It could very well be an issue with a particular tower in your area and Verizon would need to check that. If the time goes off again while on manual, then it could be the phone. User troubleshooting is restart, reset, restore from backup and restore as new. Try each in order until the problem is fixed. If it cannot be, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar at Apple to have the phone looked at for hardware issues.

Iphone 4 unresponsive and unusable

Hello. I have encountered an issue with my iPhone where the touch screen is not working (outlining the date and text every time i touch the screen) and the phone keeps shutting off. I was playing a game when it happened and my screen was suddenly unresponsive. So i rebooted my phone and now i cannot connect to iTunes because i can't type my pass code. I've attempted holding the home and sleep button at the same time and it's not fixing the issue.Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any way i can fix my iPhone without going to a apple store? Did you try recovery mode?
If you can't update or restore your iOS device
If this does not work, you'll have to visit an Authorized Apple Service Provider or the next Apple Store and let them check the phone.

Iphone 4 frozen and can not reset by sleep button

my iphone 4 is frozen and I can not reset by pressing sleep button since the spring in it conveniently broke after the warranty ran out. I need help, this is my young daughter phone and she is out of town and she has it with her. Trying to reset it on icloud but it only says to go to your mac computer which I have windows computer to reset the phone. Anybody know what to do?

If you have a Mac computer (I'm not sure if you do or not), try to reset the phone by syncing it with the Mac. Unfortunately, I don't know of any other ways to fix this issue -- the broken spring presents a large problem. You might need to end up going into an Apple store and buying a new phone. You should be able to have the sim card in the current phone be put into the new phone, but since the warranty has run out, you unfortunately will probably not be able to get a replacement phone.

pluged the iphone 4 into the computer to charge. itunes was not on so it didnt sync. but now i have a brick. wont hare reset, wont do anything...any help?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

HT201412 iPhone crashed twice, and is completely unresponsive.

iPhone crashed yesterday and was restored via iTunes; however, the phone crashed again this morning and is completely unresponsive. The phone will not turn on, off, will not reset, and is not recognized when connected to iPhones, thus restoring again is not possible. Any suggestions, or is this phone dead?
