IPhone-iTunes stuck while installing 5.0

Good morning,
I just prepared everything to install the 5.0 version of the software on my iPhone 3GS. While doing the job, iTunes and iPhone just got stuck, nothing is moving on and I have the Apple and a partial bar on the iPhone's screen and a partial bar on iTunes. I am afraid I will have to stop this, but how can I get back to a working phone?

I have similar problem, but when connected to iTunes. It couldn't recognized your phone and instead put your phone under recovery mode and ask to restore to original condition. But, when you clicked restore iPhone, it would take ages to verify to the iPhone software host.
Something wrong with iOS 7.1.2. I would recommend that do not update the software yet until Apple tell the real story what is happening now.

First, prior to connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and disable automatic syncing (iTunes>Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"). Now connect your phone, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on its name and choose Restore from Backup. When done, you can go back and re-enable automatic syncing if you prefer this.

App got stuck while installing help

I was trying to download an app and it got stuck while loading. I can't delete it. I have turned off and on my phone to no avail. I tried plugging in the phone to itunes. Help please

This happened to me when I got my iPhone. Simply all I did was turn off the Wi-Fi and it should stop saying "Loading"
What you can do is download the same app and see If it will move. Or just use iTunes to install the app.

Help iphone & itunes stuck updating

im downloading the newest software and my iphone & itunes are both like stuck in the same place its been an hour and a half. WHAT DO I DO ?!

I have the exact same problem. I hadn't updated the software on my iPhone or iPod Touch in a while, so I decided to update them to 4.0.2, and for some reason, every time I try, the bar gets to the very end when installing to the devices and just gets stuck. No error message - no nothing. I have to Force Quit iTunes to get out of it. And it's not that I'm not waiting patiently - I've had it going all night before to wake up and it's still stuck.
The only way I resolved it was to uninstall it from my Macbook Pro, restart, and then reinstall from a new installation file. However, for some reason it worked to update the iPhone, and then did the same thing again with the iPod Touch. Again, I had to uninstall and reinstall.
Any ideas how to stop this? Quite annoying...

ITunes freezes while installing

At first, there was a problem with my iPhone showing up in iTunes. I fixed that problem. I was then told to uninstall iTunes and re-install it. Now, every time I try downloading iTunes the installation gets stuck at 76% (50.2 MB). I've tried every solution the Apple Support has to offer, and many other solutions as well. Nothing. Can anyone help?

Do you have problems with downloading large files in general or is it just iTunes?
It would be worth trying some other large files to see if it is a general problem.
I recently had a problem with a wireless LAN and large files and it was resolved with a firmware update of my router. In my case there was no problem with a wire connection. I am not particularly suggesting this is the cause of your problem but rather an example of a general problem.
In the mean time could you get someone else to download the installer for you and put it on a memory stick/cd.

i have iphone 5 and I ve tried to update its iOS to latest version through iTunes but while updating it showed some unknown error, because of that now my iPhone is stuck and can't be updated.

Thanks for the quick reply. See during installtion am not getting any error. The installtion is getting stuck where the Optional service like Net8 Configuration Assistant ,_HTTP...._ comes up. Even I tried to stop the Service by clicking on Stop button, but it does not work. It showing In Progress thats all.
Oracle8i is not supported anymore but this is the csr requirement for some application which is compatiable for this version.

Got stuck while installing BAM.

Hi all,
I am stuck at the step: DATBASE CONNECT INFORMATION, while installing the BAM. Everytime I try, its giving me error saying that the Installer cannot connect to the database located at parameter #1.
Please help me in getting out of this issue.

I had the same issue and managed to resolve it
What you need to do is uninstall Oracle XE from the Add/Remove programs under the Control panel. You should also delete all the installation folders that might remain on your machine...
Then go to start->run and type regedit
In the Registry window that opens up, go to edit find and search for all occurrences of both oraclexe and OracleBam and delete every record that contains those words in the panel on the right. Please make absolutely certain that you deleting the right occurrences of the records as any mistake might completely mess up your system.
Reinstall Oracle XE and and OracleBAM and if your lucky like me, everything should work

You have to look into the logs to figure out the issue with OPMN.
Look into the install logs for Essbase and reply by pasting part of the logs here so that we can help you.

Above error implies some problem in extracting the OCL10264.SAR file from your DVD path.
There are 2 options
1) Try to extract that file manully using the command
 sapcar -xvf d:/ext/51036972/OCL_Windows_x86_64/OCL10264.SAR
 If this works, then try to update your SAPINST.EXE and repeat installation process
2) In case step 1 fails, then your source is corrupt. You need to re-download or recopy the Oracle Client DVD.

Help! computer stuck while installing automatic updates

Hi there, I'm having a problem while installing the automatic updates. I bought this iMac about 7 months ago and I've installed all the automatic updates without any problems, but since 2 weeks ago when the updated software asked me to restart my computer to install the new updates, the computer just got stuck after loging out when the INSTALLING UPDATES windows appears. It stayed there for about 6 hours (I thought it was like a really large update) but the process bar was still like in 1%. So I just pressed the ON/OFF button and restarted the computer.
Now I have 4 updates outstanding and everytime I tried to install them the same happens, the computer gets stuck in the installation window.
Does anyone here know what could be wrong and how to fix it? is there any way to delete the installations remaining and start right from scratch or something?
Please I need help! this is the first Mac I've ever had!

You can try this. You may end up having to restore the iPad, but you aren't getting anywhere anyway. This might at least jog the iPad into some sort of functionality again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

HT4623 iphone 4 stuck while ios 7.02 phone update , HELP

Trying to install 7.02 on iPhone 4
after sometime the screen went blank and wants to connect to itunes . i connected to i tunes then the phone starts update again and asks for reset of factory settings. update is around 1.2 gb and keeps dropping. my phone is useless now. HELP PLEASE

This is a follow-up. I called Apple Support. They had me go through a sequence of unplugging the phone from the computer, then rebooting the computer, unplugging and shutting down the phone, plugging in the phone while holding the Hold button to force a restore. It then finished the update and all is well. I wouldn't suggest trying this without having Support on the phone.

I cant sync downloaded music to my iphone, itunes stuck at waiting for changes to be applied

I have a iPhone 4s ios 7.0.4 and i download some mp3 songs from mp3skull.com, but when i try to sync them to my iPhone from itunes it gets stuck at waiting for changes to be applied. and the songs wont sync. PLEASE HELP

I have had this problem and I hope this works (it did for me and I also had an iPhone 4S - 7.1.2)
1) Plug your iPhone in to iTunes.
2) If it automatically starts syncing click the 'X' to cancel the sync as quickly as you can.
3) Once the Sync has cancelled, navigate to:
'File' > 'Devices' > 'Transfer purchases from "_______ iPhone"
4) Wait for Purchases to transfer.
5) Update Apps on iTunes.
6) Wait for that to finish.
7) Try and Sync again.
8) This time it should work.
----CONTINUE READING IF THIS DOESN'T WORK----
9) Click 'Restore iPhone'
10) Let iPhone restore (could take 20 minutes)
11) Set up as a 'New iPhone' and sync your music.
----OTHER THINGS TO CHECK BEFORE YOU RESTORE----
1) Is your iPhone running the latest software version?
2) Is your iTunes running the latest software version?
3) Are your songs in an unsupported File format?
4) Are your songs corrupted?
5) Have you transferred purchases and updated all apps on iTunes?
-----OTHER THINGS YOU COULD DO-----
1) Re-install iTunes (could work - probably won't but you can give it a try)
2) Delete all music off phone (again probably won't work but you could give it a try)
3) Re-start your phone by holding the 'Home/Touch ID' button and the lock button at the same time and hold until the Apple logo appears.
----NOTES-----
Since updating to iOS 8 and iTunes 12 I haven't had this problem. You might want to update to iOS 8.1 and iTunes 12 - this could solve the problem too.
