IPhone keeps lighting up randomly

After updating to IOS7 my iPhone 4S keeps lighting up and playing the text tone, but theres never a message, email, missed call no notifications whatsoever!!! what could be wrong with my phone?! And my battery keeps draining really quickly I have turned my location services off however the little location arrow at the top is often on! I'd normally consider myself quite a whizz with my iPhone but these problems have me stumped!!! thanks!

First, try a reboot:
press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple icon is displayed, then let go.
As for battery drain, ios7 now supports multitasking for all apps, so it helps to frequently close your apps that are in the background. Double click the home button, swipe upwards the thumbnail of apps you want to close.

Wife's iPhone keeps shutting off randomly and does it even when on calls, restarts and has a dark line in center of the screen then the apple logo. At times it does it several times or won't power up, and the iPhone4 is only five months old. What do we do

Have an iPhone 4 that is now shutting off randomly including during calls. The iPhone is roughly about five months old. When the iPhone shuts down and tries to restart it usually take two or three times before it stays on, but when it does it sometimes has a dark line down the center and shuts off. Not very happy about the iPhone doing this. The store we had purchased the iPhone 4 from suggested that we contact Apple to see about a replacement, or send it away for service. As you can tell we are not happy at this point since the iPhone is crucial part of our day for work and family. What should we do at this point?

I Already popped out the Sim Card & let my phone sit without it for a few minutes then put it back in. Sometimes it will work again & it will say it recognizes the SIM Card but more times then not it still says it cant recognize it! So I have to take it out & reinsert it multiple times.
& I have done a complete restore 2 times & a back up restore 3 times. Nothing seems to be working.
I am planning on going to the Apple Store this week, wish me luck!
But keep the suggestions coming if you have any, I'd appreciate it!

My iPhone keeps telling me there's an accessory attached

the message that tells me "this accessory is not made to work with iPhone" keeps popping up randomly on my home screen and it always asks me if I want to turn on airplane mode. It started doing this out of nowhere since July. I've tried restoring it, soft restting it, and turning it off and on and the first thing that pops up is that message. There clearly is no device attached, yet it still keeps asking me if I want to turn on airplane mode. This is really irritating because I listen to my music and it randomly shuts the music off thinking there's a device, causing me to replug in my earphones everytime. Even when I plug it into a charger or any other stereo or iPhone base it asks me this. Is there a way to solve this?

IPhone 4 keeps turning off randomly.

Ever since I updated to iOS 5, my iPhone keeps turning off at random times. At first, it didn't happen too often, and I would be able to turn my phone back on without any problems. Now, it shuts off quite often to the point where I can barely use it. And very time I'd try to turn it back on, the Apple logo would appear like it's starting up normally and right when it's about to actually turn back on, it just shuts back off. The only time it's able to turn back on is if I plug it in. Any help/fixes to this problem? I tried doing hard resets, tried setting up the phone as new, deleted apps, etc...nothing has worked. Is anyone having the same problem??

Unfortunately this is probably a hardware issue and you will need to take it to an Apple Store.

If the phone is offline there is no way to track it or send a message to it. You can place it in lost mode to lock it and send it a message (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f0165), but this will not take place until the phone goes back online, if it ever does. If it does, you will get an email informing you.

ITunes 11: playback keeps pausing in random spots.

My songs keep stopping in random places, and then playback will continue. The same thing has started happening when I try and watch movies through iTunes as well.
It is as if the songs have trouble streaming through iTunes (if that is even possible), but its like watching a youtube video with poor internet connection.
Is there any way to fix this, or should I take it in to the apple store to get it checked out?
I am currently using the latest version of iTunes and did not have the problem before I updated to iTunes 11.

I'm seeing similar behavior, although it doesn't usually pause in the middle of a song, it will pause between songs and syncing with the iPhone now also causes it to pause, with the spinning beach ball and the Dock icon's context menu showing "Application Not Responding".

My iphone 4 is calling random numbers

My iPhone 4 is dialling random numbers on its own.
I looked down at my phone when i thought it was locked + it was dialling this random number and then stopped.
The number appeared in my recent calls list and it is a completely random number; not from my contacts or even similar to any unsaved numbers in my recent calls.
In addition, this follows a couple of recent cases of possible pocket dialling of my contacts. Which I thought would be impossible cause i keep my phone locked with a passcode.
How did this happen?

Okay, I have no idea how to delete this, but if this ever happens to someone else, don't share your apple ID with younger siblings. Turns out I was watching their conversations... bit creepy lol

My iPhone 4 keeps shutting down randomly at 32% or 49% or 80% battery life. I did a hard reset, restored to factory settings and also I changed a new battery which I DIY. Thank you for letting me know. I have this issue with the original battery so I thought because I had this phone for the past 4 years the battery may not be good. So I decided to change it myself since I no longer have warranty. Do you have any solutions? Or I have to buy a new phone which I am reluctant to do so as my iPhone 4 is still in good condition.

IPhone keep turning off my email notification

iPhone keep on automatically turn off my email notification. I've about 10 mailbox configured and iPhone are turning some banners alert, lock screen, etc for the notification off for random mailbox at random time. I turn them on and it happens over and over again. It might be iOS to fight annoying email notification but I've got important email comings in.

IPhone keeps restarting. Tried everything.

My iPhone keeps restarting randomly. At first it would do it and come back to normal. Almost like a soft restart. Sometimes I had to restart it myself.
But now, it just keeps restarting and even when I do a reset it doesn't work. It's so bad that it won't show up in iTunes and as I'm writing this it's just plugged in to my computer and continually restarting by itself.
Basically my phone is a brick.
Any ideas before I go to the Apple store. It's about a 40 minute drive for me so don't want to if I don't have to.

I decided to return the iPHone 6. I have not had good experience with Apple products. I purchased three recently, which all had major issues (purchased within weeks of the iPhone 6). I had a 5s, which was going into low-signal mode and burning out the battery before mid-day. I had a Mac-Mini that kept dropping the wifi signal and had issue reconnecting when waking from sleep (this became nearly useless for anything online) and a iPhone 5c that could not be activated (a complete brick). The 5c was the last purchase (on-top of the Mac-Mini) that made me give up. I was not going to exchange four products that cost around $2k.
I ended up ordering the Moto X second Gen. It has an amoled display and amoleds typically don't have uniformity and hot pixel issues. Also, I got accidental coverage, accessories and 32GB of memory for less than I did for the purchase of the iPhone 6 16GB (about $600 after $50 student rebate). I also found Siri was not as good as Google's voice services (or directions for that matter) and the OS was not as intuitive with multitasking IMO.
I am a fan of Apple products overall and it's unfortunate Foxconn is doing them a disservice. Hopefully you all get your issues worked out. I'm baffled at how Apple products tend to get the best reviews on screen quality. Before a review should be given on accuracy, how about back-light uniformity? That is just as important for the overall user experience IMO.
