IPhone keeps MacPro from following "sleep" command
Been having a minor issue with my iPhone and my MacPro. I keep the phone docked a lot when I'm at the computer, and I usually leave it there overnight as well. When I put the MPro to sleep it will go to sleep at first, but then the iPhone wakes up and that prompts the Mac to wake as well. I've tried disabling the automatic sync setting in iTunes but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've tried waking the phone first before putting the Mac to sleep, which works sometimes but not all the time. Usually if I hit the sleep command 3-4 times the Mac will finally sleep.
I assumed the iPhone would function like an iPod in this instance (my 5G iPod does not do this); it appears that iPhones don't charge anyway while computers sleep but I haven't seen any statement from Apple about unplugging/un-docking an iPhone before putting your Mac to sleep. Note that my Wife's iMac G5 does NOT exhibit the same behavior, and will go to sleep properly with the iPhone attached.
Specs: 8GB iPhone, v1.1.1. Standard iPhone dock and USB cable plugged into 23" Cinema Display on Mac pro 2.66, with 4GB ram

Here is one possibility.
Your MacPro may be waking for Ethernet access, such as your router contacting it, detecting the iPhone when it checks the USB bus after waking, and not going back to sleep automatically because the iPhone is attached.
If a computer goes to sleep automatically while the iPhone is attached, it may stop charging, and under some conditions discharge the battery on the iPhone.
Try turning off "Wake for Ethernet Access" if its not needed, and see if that makes a difference.

Why does my iPhone keep disappearing from my list of avalilable wi-fi networks?
Everything works out fine initially but if I close my MacBook, it can´t find my Phone again amongst the available Wi-Fi networks.
To make it work, I then have to turn off, and then on the Internet Sharing again, and now it can find it. Why is that? Is there any way to make sure my iPhone is visible permanently?It's normal for the WiFi connection to be dropped when the phone sleeps, and will take 5 - 45 seconds to reconnect when waking. This is a battery conservation measure and is common with most laptops when they sleep.
You can maintain a continuous WiFi connection (if your router is not set to time out) by disabling cell network data connection:
Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data > OFF -
Help please my iPhone has started to jump between sound on to sound silent allby itself and when this is happening it vibrates is this a common thing or does it have to be repaired I have loaded it with latest download from apple but still the problem carries on any help would be vry welcome.
JohnSounds like a hardware problem with the mute switch on the side of the phone... no software can fix this.
If under warranty, take it in to Apple for a possible replacement. If not, Google for an iPhone repair center in your area. -
Iphone keeps disconnection from car bluetooth
My phone is great but every 5 minutes or less it disconnects from the bluetooth in my car, which is very annoying and dangerous since if I want it to stay connected while I'm driving I need to constantly fiddle with it. I should add that I have the phone lock enabled and have tried different auto-lock times from one minute to never and it still disconnects from blue tooth no matter what the setting. Any ideas?
More on the issue. If it is connected and I try to use the bluetooth prompts in my car to make a call, It will start to ring, my phone screen will go black and I can't do anything or hear anything. It will come back after about 10-15 seconds but the speaker button will be missing . Then all of a sudden, the speaker button reappears.but it is not on bluetooth anymore.

Iphone 4S keeps falling from flat surfaces
I have an iphone 4s replaced using my insurance after the previous one got broken by accident. This new iphone keeps falling from flat surfaces. After the first time, I placed it back just to check how could it fall, and I could see that the phone was moving very slowly toward the edge. It happens all the time in different flat surfaces, normally wooden ones, like the bedside table, or just an ordinary table. What is causing this? This phone does not have any casing or glass film protector. How can I stop this happening? Is part of the mechanism of the phone? Thanks

This could be cause by your vibration motor in your iPhone. Try turning this feature off and see if the issue is still present:

I keep getting the following message "some items (meaning all of them) were not transferred because iTunes match is enabled." when I try to drag and drop a playlist, song, or album to my iPhone. This was NEVER a problem before iTunes match or the last iOS update. So what is the deal? Why can't i just add music to my phone from the mac? There is space on the phone. The only way I have found to get the music i want to the phone is to have it download from the phone. This is not something i want to have to do: go through and manually add every album and recreate a playlist on the phone when its there on the mac. And, even more irritating, since the new update, when the phone is plugged into the mac i can't actually view from the mac what music is on the phone. This is incredibly frustrating and any help would be much appreciated in managing my music libraries for each device.

You cannot manually manage music with match turned on on your iOS device. If you want to manage music manually, you will need to turn off match on your iPhone.

Thank you for your time, EricYes, that is happening because of the app. Not all apps behave this way. For example, if you use the youTube app with AirPlay the screen will turn off but AirPlay continues. If you use the Netflix app the screen will not turn off and, of course, AirPlay continues.
The best course with the NCAA app would appear to be to supply power to the iPad and set Autolock to never. Turn the iPad screen intensity down. -

If you could read just a tiny little bit further, under the "Additional Information" section immediately after that, it says:
If you are still experiencing this issue when syncing, or have not installed Xcode 4 and get this alert:
Follow the troubleshooting steps in Mac OS X v10.5, v10.6: Resetting the SyncServices folder.
If the issue is still unresolved, follow steps in Sync Services: Advanced troubleshooting for contact and calendar syncing.

Iphone went out, when i did get it back on, up in the top left of screen it continues to show searching, and wi-fi is grayed out keeping me from restoring it. what can i do to fix this?
Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can clear some glitches.
If this does not work, try to set it up as new device without using the latest backup.

how do i stop my iphone 4 from doing random commands while talking on calls via the touch screen? Can i lock the screen while talking?
The iPhone has a proximity sensor located on the top of the phone near the earphone speaker that is supposed to automatically turn off the screen when it is close to your face while on a call, to prevent that very thing from happening. If your phone isn't doing that, try cleaning your screen. Also, if you put a screen protector on your phone made for a different model it may lack the cut-out that is supposed to keep it from blocking the sensor. Try removing your screen protector to see if that helps. If it does, get another screen protector.
