IPhone keyboard entering keystrokes not typed
The Passcode says I'm typing in the wrong code when I am. Typing the code slowly works. Keyboard is entering bogus characters. I've had the phoen for over a year and never had this problem until the dude at the AT&T store pulled out my sim card without turning my phone off. Is my phone damaged or is the keyboard issue a software/hardware upgrade issue?
First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.

IPhone keyboard shift key not working
Today out of nowhere the shift key stopped working on my iPhone. When I press it it clicks like normal but does not capitalize the next letter that I type.
I haven't changed any settings or anything. Does anyone know what's up?

Keyboard & enter key not working
My Apple keyboard started giving my problems yesterday, out of the blue. The "enter" key doesn't work and some numbers don't work.
I'm using a Power Mac OS X 10.4.9
The only changes I made was to recently update I Tunes software. Is there something I need to reset?Anyone have any clues??
As the day goes on, I'm having less and less access to keys. Now my arrow keys (up, down, left & right) aren't working. It's spreading!!
Please someone help. I'm a graphic designer running on a tight deadline. -
I have a 27" desktop mac running with OSX 10.6.8. The bluetooth keyboard started not typing when some of the keys are pressed. Plugged in a wired keyboard, started doing the same thing. When opening up a browser or application, the cursor moves but cannot select anything. Suggestions?

my iMac keeps typing a minus sign. I switched my wireless keyboard for a plug in Windows keyboard, and it keeps typing this one character. I took the batteries out of the Mac keyboard, so that is not the problem. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8. In parallels, I don't have any problem, just on the Mac platform.

Upgrading OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) to 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion) is not an update. It is a paid upgrade. Just as with 10.7 (Lion) you must purchase it from the App Store with yor Apple ID and install it after backing up your current computer state for safety.

Just started up my Mac Mini out of the box, using a USB windows keyboard, it will not recognize letters so I am unable to enter serial number. Anything I can do to get the mini mac right out of the box to recognize the windows keyboard? Do I have to buy an Apple Keyboard to get it to work right out of the box?
Is this a normal USB keyboard or is there anything specialized about it? Does this keyboard require you to install any special software to use it on a Windows box? Or is it usually a plug & play keyboard?
Normally if a Mac does not recognize a keyboard it asks you to press certain keys to identify the keyboard. What is happening on screen with this keyboard? What serial number are you referring to? -
ENTER keystroke on text input entry not always submitting
I have run into a problem where once a user has completed the
text input entry and has clicked the ENTER button to "submit" this
entry, the ENTER keystroke event is not always "submitting" the
input entry. Sometimes it requires hitting the ENTER key two or
three times before the slide moves on.
We are loading the captivate files into a custom flash
interface (but there are no key events in this interface that could
conflict with the captivate's ENTER keystroke) and I have the
maximum number of attempts set to 1.
I did some debugging from the custom flash interface, and in
the captivate .swf, the proper input field has focus and the ENTER
keystroke is being captured

I want the name that is loaded from the textfile into the combobox to be selected from the list.
Once an item is selected everything works just fine. But I don't want the user to select the item, when the name is loaded into the combobox. The user will expect that the item will be selected automatically. Is that possible?
The function I want is the opposite of combobox.selectedItem. Instead of having a selected item and getting the name, I have a name and I want to select the item.
The name is a correct name, because the name is saved from the combobox. -
I have successfully exported subtitles (XML files) from FC version 7 to FC version 6, by choosing Apple XML Interchange Format Version 4. Now the exported subtitles suddenly read in one long line, at the top, not registering any "Enter" keystrokes. The same happens even if I re-import the XML file into Final Cut Version 7 (from where I exported the subtitles). Any tips on how to fix this?

Just bought the new MacBook Pro and love it. I've got my bluetooth wireless trackpad connected and working fine. Unfortunately, my bluetooth wireless keyboard is connecting, but not typing. How can I troubleshoot this?
Okay, I've had the wireless keyboard disconnected from the old computer. Now my current computer says the keyboard is 'connected' under the bluetooth drop down menu, however will not type and when I got into System Preferences>Keyboard and choose Set Up Bluetooth Keyboard it says No Keyboard Found, even though the little green light on the keyboard is flashing. Any idea how to troubleshoot this and get the keyboard working?

If Find My Phone has not been activated on the iPhone before being lost there is nothing more that you can do to locate it with iCloud. The only option is physical search for it.
If you have an idea of the location, call the iPhone and see if you can hear it ring. -

This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -
