Iphone license agree loop

OS 6.0
I cannot run updates on my iPhone. I am unable to get out of an endless loop on the license agreement to install.  I agree and in is just keeps asking me to agree until I say no, or cancel the update(s) or install(s).  Does anyone know of a solution?
Thanks,
Don

This is a known bug from yesterday, that Apple supposedly fixed. If you are having problems with it today, then maybe it is still a problem for some users. Be patient. Try to update an App now.

Now, when I go to open any of the programs, i.e. photoshop I am asked to accept the license agreement, which I do.  I am then asked for my serial number which I provide and I get the little green check mark.  When I click on continue it loops me back to the license agreement. It keeps looping and I cannot access any of the programs.
I then installed Adobe Acrobat 9.3.  When I attempt access the program I received the following error message "you cannot use this produce at this time, you must repair the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling this product."
Honestly I have never had so many problems installing any product.  To top it off Adobe does not offer any technical support on the weekends.  I've been fighting all weekend with this product when I need to get assignments done.  I'm truly at my wits end.  If anyone out there has experienced similar issues I would so appreciate hearing from you and anything you did to resolve them.

It sounds like you had a bad disk which is rare but hey it happens.  Here's what I would do.
Deactivate the software (assuming you can launch an application)
    Uninstall everything
Run the Adobe CS5 Clean Tool - http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs5clean.html
Optional Paranoid steps - restart the PC, run the CS5 clean tool again to verify there is nothing (Adobe MC5 anyway) on your system
    Restart the PC
Make sure any and all anti-virus and anything you can turn off is off.
    Install Master Collection as before.
I hope this helps and I'm sorry that you're experiencing some problems.  If the above doesn't work, I'd consider requesting new media to install your software on.

  • Open Sourcing an iPhone Application acceptable under the License Agreement?

I've read through the licensing agreement, but I'm still not convinced either way. I want to make my iPhone application's source code available on the internet and set up a project page and SVN repository on a site such as Google Code. I wouldn't be distributing my signing keys and would be the single source for submitting the app to iTunes. Is this allowed under the License Agreement?

(Disclaimer: IANAL, I'm just a smart guy who's worked on GPL projects.)
That isn't the relevant part of the iPhone license agreement. The GPLv2 (which is probably the most important open source license for this question, as it's both very popular and has restrictions on mixing with proprietary code) does not encompass headers and libraries that are part of the operating system. That's how people can write open source Windows and Mac applications--believe me, Microsoft would not be pleased if someone contacted them and said that since Gaim was open source, they had to release the source code to the Win32 API. So the GPLv2 would not attempt to "annex" anything provided by Apple, and thus it wouldn't violate that section.
What may be relevant is the iPhone license section concerning confidentiality. If the class, method, function and constant names are considered "Apple Confidential Information", you would be in violation of the contract if you distributed code that revealed them. I rather suspect that nothing in the Foundation or Core Foundation frameworks could be considered confidential, as information about them is freely available to anyone who has the Mac OS X Core Library, which is distributed with every copy of Leopard. UIKit, Core Location, etc. are another story; I personally think that the fact that the APIs are included in the free SDK ought to preclude considering them confidential, but Apple might think differently.
In other words: you're definitely safe using LGPLv2 libraries. If the code would also compile with the Mac OS X SDK, you're almost certainly safe releasing it under the GPLv2*. If the code uses UIKit or other frameworks documented in the free SDK, you may be safe releasing it under the GPLv2. If you release any code that uses APIs that only licensed developers have access to under the GPLv2, you're probably totally screwed.
The GPLv3 is much stricter, and so the story there might be different; for example, I think it may have key-releasing requirements that would conflict with the contract. I don't really know much about it, though.
\* Remember, the original copyright holder can create alternate licensing arrangements for specific people. So he can say "anyone can use this code under the GPL, and as a special exception, it can be linked against FooCorp's non-GPL software". But to use anyone else's GPL code, you'd have to get all of the authors of that code to agree to the same exception. Alternately, you can just release your own code under the LGPL instead and then it's all good.

I had previously purchased a DVD disk from Amazon.  I did get the program to install today.  However it continues to loop back to the screen where you accept the licensing agreement.  I had lost the previous serial number and was given a new one by Adobe.
After trying over and over again to install the version from their download, I purchased a new copy from Amazon.  I am still getting the same loop on the software where it asks you to Accept the Licensing Agreement.  Short of reformatting my hard drive and starting with a clean PC, I have no idea what to try.  Is the previous software installed somewhere?  I had uninstalled it prior to downloading and installing the new software.  Any help is appreciated!

I'm going to try reinstalling Windows 7 and installing the software that way.  I've reinstalled it before so am not concerned about taking that step.  If I need further assistance, I'll add a reply.  Thanks!

  • Iphone software license agreement...cant go forward

i am able to locate my iphone and the first page that appears is a register/not register...i click on register and it sends me to the software license agreement page. i am able to click on i agree then at the bottom there is only cancel and save, no "ok" button. so how do i continue? also itunes is up to date as well as my computer and i have already unistalled then reinstalled itunes.

I believe you need to increase your computers screen resolution. It must be at least 1024x768. If this is on a of go to control panel and find display. Then in display settings you go to "settings" and adjust it there.
    Cheers!

  • Endless loop of license agreements

This has gone on for quite a while ever since I installed CC 2014. Whenever I open an Adobe application a window pops up asking me to accept the End User License Agreement, but whenever I click "Accept" it closes, waits for five seconds, and then pops up again. I've reinstalled, rebooted, changed system settings, but nothing has worked. Can anyone please give me help?

Do you have Adobe Creative cloud desktop application, if yes then please sign out and sign in. See the steps below:
    1)     Open CC desktop app.
    2)     Click on the Gear icon>> Preferences>> Account>> Sign out.
Let me know if that doesn't help, I will tell you some other steps.

  • IE10 Windows7 - iTunes opens maybe 3 times and then it thinks i am a new user.  I ge the license agreement again.  Apple SR Techs cannot figure it out.  Does this have to do with IE10?

Windows 7 - installed IE10.  Now every few times iTunes is opened I get the 'user license' agreement as if i am a new user.  Apple SR techs have been working with me for weeks and have NOT solved this problem.  i have a iPhone 4S, but this happens before I even plug in.  Can you help?  Also, second question:
Also, I have two apple accounts (mistake) and apple says that they cannot delete the invalid one!  When I finally can get on iTunes it asks if I want to merge or replace - I am told to do neither (i am syncing by plugging in the 4S to my computer - i have Outlook).  SO... right now i am unable to sync.  SR Tech says having the 2 accounts is not the problem - actually - 2 techs said it was and 1 says it is not.  SO frustrating!  Is there a way to resolve this?
    Thanks - CJ Texas

McAfee AntiVirus by any chance? See the thread Why does iTunes delete my itunesprefs.xml?
Not so sure about the suplemental question, but see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for tips to make sure you don't lose content from the device.

  • Acrobat x pro "license agreement" bug on opening

Hi I hope you can help find out how to get rid of this problem, it is urgent that I have access to acrobat documents for my work which is very busy at the moment.
I downloaded and installed Acrobat X Pro as part of the CS6 Design & Web package purchased in May 2012.
Since that time I cannot open any PDF, because an endless loop occurs with a license agreement screen that kicks in every 20 seconds.  It is impossible to open any document or create one, because the licence agreement screen requests that I accept or quit, and then pops up again and again and will only stop if I select "quit", which quits the entire application.
I tried uninstalling the software to install it again, but the following error screen pops up:
"The accplication selected was not a valid Acrobat application for this uninstaller. Please rerun the uninstaller."
I have activated the CS6 Suite with my valid registration number and have already run several of the sortwares already.
Please help because without this software (my old pdf viewer has seemed to dissapear) I cannot work!
    Thank you.

How to I install Acrobat X Pro again using the CS6 installer? I have now uninstalled my Acrobat X Pro using windows installer, but I can't find it in the Adobe Download Assistant. I have a serial for CS6 Master Collection, but that serial does not work on a single Acrobat X Pro installation! What do I do?

  • ITunes 10.5 won't run after accepting license agreement

I've been searching message boards for the past 2 days trying to figure out what's going on but have found nothing. I'm running Windows XP Pro. I updated to iTunes 10.5 only so I can update my iphone to IOS5. The install went fine without any errors. When the installation was complete, I double clicked to load iTunes 10.5 and it opened up the software agreement screen, I clicked agree and then agreement window disappears and then nothing, just nothing...
I have done this several times. I've uninstalled itunes and reinstalled itunes, still the same thing. Then I went drastic and I uninstalled every single bit of apple software on my computer and then downloaded new versions from the apple site and reinstalled everything only to get the same result! No matter what I do, everytime I try to run iTunes 10.5 it only opens the software license agreement screen and does absolutely nothing once you click "accept."
I've looked at all of the processes running and itunes appears in the process list once I run it but then after I agree to the license agreement, it dissappears from the process list after a few seconds.
    This is ridiculous.

Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows)
Configure Internet Options (for Windows computers only):
Run iTunes Diagnostics. If the "Secure link to iTunes Store" section does not pass, do the following.
    Open Internet Explorer.
From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
    Click Connections.
Under "Dial-up and Virtual Private Networking," choose "Never dial a connection." It may not be possible to choose this if you’ve never used dial-up Internet; if this is the case, skip to the next step.
    Click LAN Settings.
In the window that opens, enable the option to "Automatically detect settings" if it is not enabled.
iTunes uses Internet Options proxy settings. Apple recommends removing proxy settings that interfere with access to the iTunes Store if needed.
    Click OK.
    Click the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Security section and look for the option to "Check for server certificate revocation." If it is enabled, disable it.
Look for Use SSL 3.0 and Use TLS 1.0. Make sure at least one of those two checkboxes is selected and click OK (You can select both checkboxes).
Apply any changes, and restart your computer if you modified the option to "Check for server certificate revocation" (step #11).
    Rebuild network information.
    WindowsWindows XP:
From the Start menu, choose Run.
In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
    Windows Vista and Windows 7:
From the Start menu, choose All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and choose "Run as Administrator" from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store.
If you want to have Windows try to restore the hosts to default, follow the "FixIt" in How do I reset the hosts file back to the default?.
Note: Work systems may put information into the hosts file. Consult whomever is responsible for supporting Windows on your system before resetting the hosts file to default.
If restoring the defaults did not resolve the issue, you can find your hosts file at C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC .
Select the hosts file. Choose Edit > Copy, and then choose Edit > Paste.
There should now be a duplicate of the hosts file named "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7).
Drag the original hosts file to your Desktop. If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
Drag the "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) to the Desktop.
Right-click "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) and choose Open. You may be prompted to choose the program you want to use to open this file. Double-click Notepad.
When Notepad opens, choose Edit > Select All, and then choose  Edit > Delete.
From the File menu, choose Save. Quit Notepad.
Drag the "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) file from your Desktop back into the original location (given in step 2). If Windows needs your permission to continue, click Continue.
Right-click the  "Copy of hosts" (Windows XP) or "hosts -Copy" (Windows Vista/7) file, and choose Rename. Type "hosts" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
Restart your computer and try connecting to the iTunes Store.

The licensing agreement has no ACCEPT button and goes into a loop when I try to exit the agreement.  I have to restart the computer to get out of it.

    Hi,
I just installed CS5.5 Master Collection and it all went well.
When I start any application in the suite the License Agreement comes up and I click "Accept" the box goes away then it pops back up.
My choices are "Quit" or "Accept" quit does what its supposed to do and quits, but accept just loop me back to the  License Agreement.
I uninstalled CS5, and CS5.5 and reinstalled CS5.5 and nothing changed. I still have Director 11.5 installed.
This is a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. CS5.5 Master Collection is a 5 seat license and we've installed 2 already with no problems.
    Please Help!!!
    Thanks,

  • Adobe Acrobat X - License agreement won't be accepted

I have Adobe Acrobat X and everytime I open the application it asks me to accept the license agreement. Regardless of what I click the application closes and reopens itself asking me to once again accept the license agreement. This loops indefinitely until I close the program in Task manager.
How can I resolve this and use the software?
    Extra details:
    OS = Windows 7 64bit
    Product = Adobe Acrobat X
It is a legit copy of the software with the license key used. Furthermore a complete uninstall and reinstall of the software has already been done but the issue persists.

Have done so through Photoshop and found the EULA.exe within the files for Adobe Reader and ran and accepted it through both those options.
The issue persists but only on Adobe Acrobat 10 as the other Adobe CS6 applications run without any issues. It is sods law that Acrobat is the application that is required.
I have accepted the EULA in the above ways as the primary user and an administrator account.
Thank you for the assistance Michael, any other potential ideas would be appreciated as I cannot think of anything else I can do.
