IPhone light stays lit after I get a text

My phone just recently began to do this. Whenever I get a text or if I click the lock button to check the time and don't click it again to turn it off my iPhones light will stay lit until the phone dies. The past 2 days i've woken up to a dead iPhone. Anybody know how to fix this problem? I couldn't find it anywhere else. I've fiddled with the auto brightness but that didn't seem to help.

Just wondering if your iPhone is in a plastic case or not?
A plastic case will cause all kinds of glitches, and freeze ups etc...just ask my wife.

I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes to allow it adequate time to initialize.
Power-up the AirPort base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes. Note: The AirPort's status light may continue to flash amber after it has intialized. That is because, there may be some additional configuration items necessary, like setting up wireless security, before the overall setup is completed to get a green status.
Power-up your computer(s).
If the above steps do not solve the problem, start over with step 1 above, but then perform the next steps between steps 1 & 2. above.
Disconnect the AirPort base station from the Internet broadband modem.
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Reconnect the AirPort base station to the Internet broadband modem. For the Extreme and Time Capsule, be sure to connect the cable to the base station's WAN (circle-of-dots) port.
Continue with step 2 in the first set of steps.
In this basic configuration, the AirPort base station will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a Network Name (SSID) of Apple Network NNNNNN. Network clients, connected to the base station either by wire or wireless, should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. Please post back your results.

FP2000 status light stays lit red can not communicate

I just tried to update the software on a FP2000 not the status light stays read and can not communicate. any ideas.

Based on the manual for this device, the status light staying lit refers to “the FieldPoint-20XX did not power on correctly.” I would suggest removing all software from this controller and reinstall it.

IPhone 4 stays lit during calls

My iPhone 4 stays lit during calls. It causes me to hit the mute, FaceTime and contact buttons during calls. I took my otter box off and it still does this. Can anyone help me?

This is Proximity Sensor problem. This sensor is located on the Power Button Flex Cable. If the iPhone front screen has been replaced this is known problem. Restore iPhone with current iTunes on computer.

Num Lock light stays on after shut down

Hi, I've just put this system together and I've noticed that the num locks occasionally stays on after I shut down the PC.
I've changed the power supply to the one below and the problem continues.
I have my keyboard plugged into the USB port nearest the the old style PS 2 Keyboard port on the rear of the PC

I want to update my iphone from 6.1.4 to ios7 using OTA but i'm not sure if my content will stay in the phone after the update especially the music cuz rest of it is backed up on icloud.

Updating is not suppose to wipe any media or apps.
It may happen because sometimes things just go wrong.
I would back everything up first.

My Iphone 4s is 2 years and 3 months old. the battery drains very quickly, sometimes turning off once it reaches 40% if I open an app or say the camera.
I charge it more than twice a day now as the battery life is so poor.
Also, when I take a photo, the phot sometimes shows in the album, but if I click on it, it shows up as a white screen and I cannot send the photo either as the recipient gets a blank screen.
I am not super flash with technology, so please be nice!

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

Power light stays on after shutdown

i bought a this laptop 6 months back and it was all working perfectly with Windows 8.1 until I upgraded it to Windows 10. When i shut it down everything turns off except for the power light and it keeps on forever. In order to turn the light off i have to press and hold power button for around 6-7 seconds and then it turns off. i tried updating the bios with windows bios because Windows 10 BIOS is not available for my pc. Please help, i will be grateful.

When you say that it recognizes both phones are you sure you aren't just seeing both backups? iCloud should back up your new phone if you have iCloud Backup turned to On in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup. But you may still have the old backup stored in your account as well when you check in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage on the Backups list. If you no longer need the backup of your old phone, tap it and then tap Delete Backup.

Iphone 4 background stays lit during calls

My iPhone 4 stays lit during calls and causes battery to run low and inadvertently mute me. I've had my screen replaced by citymac and after doing some research I'm guessing it's the proximity sensor. Is there a setting on my phone to turn off the background in a call or is it a valid assumption to make that the proximity sensor is screwed up. If so, how much will it cost to fix?

The Proximity Sensor , The Black Spot ( Above The EarPiece ) Has Been Damaged Or Is Faulty.
If Your iPhone Is Under Warranty, You Can Give It To Apple Or You Can Get It Changed By A Third-Party Dealer.
I Cannot Comment On The Pricing As The Cost And Quality Of Sensors Is Different Everywhere.

CFP status led - stays lit solid red!

I have a problem with a cFP-2120 RT controller where the red LED status light stays lit. On the instruction manual it says that the unit was not powered up correctly and to contact NI. The controller used to work fine until we had a short on the mains side of the power supply The AI, AO and thermocouple modules did not power up but the DI and DO modules seemed to be getting power. Is there anything we can do or just send it back for repairs. When I replaced the controller with another one, the system worked fine and the status LED turned off after a few seconds.

Sounds like you've proven that the controller is bad. Next step is an RMA from NI. Make sure NI tells you what failed in the controller and see if they will comment on what might have caused it. The idea being to see if you can do anything to prevent this failure in the future.

Text messages stall when sending to other iPhone users from my iPhone5- recently started, how to get the texts to go through instantly?

Recently, after updating for i0S7, when texting other iPhone users, my texts never go through. However, if I hold on the test it will give me the option to "send as a text message" and will send immediately (with the green message, unlike the blue that use to send to iPhone users). How can I get these text messages to go immediately?

Reset your network settings:
1) Turn off iMessage
2) Reset network settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Netwok Settings
3) Turn iMessage back on
Note: resetting your network settings will delete any stored WiFi passwords.
