Can somebody please help me? I can't restore my iPhone out of iTunes unless I deactivate my iCloud settings. On the phone is a code, which I forgot over night :-((((

Go to iCloud.com and sign in to your account.
Open “Find my iPhone”, and click on the “Devices” button to get a list of all devices tied to your Apple ID. (Note that it might take some time for iCloud to determine the location of your devices.)
Select your device, and click the cross button next to it to untie it from your Apple ID. You should now see a confirmation alert. Click “Remove” to confirm.

Originally I used iCloud when it first was released. My contacts went into the cloud. I stopped using iCloud and maintained my Contacts on my Macmini. All of my up-to-date information which includes additional contacts and revisions are on the Mac mini. iCloud wants to work with my old information but I'd rather replace the information on iCloud with the information on my computer. Open Address Book on your Mac, click All Contacts, select a single contact, press Command-A to select them all (they should all be highlightes), then go to File>Export>Export vCard and save this on your desktop. Then delete all your iCloud contacts by going to icloud.com on your computer, log into your iCloud account and open Contacts, click on All Contacts, to the right click on any single contact to select it, click on the gear-shaped icon at the bottom left and choose Select All, then press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete them all. Then click on the gear-shaped icon again, choose Import vCard and navigate to the vCard you saved earlier to import your contacts to iCloud.

My boyfriend changed his pass code on his iPhone 5 and does not remember it. He's tried every possible code and now his phone is disabled and says to connect to itunes. If this iPhone has previously been synced to a computer you can connect to that computer which will unlock it.
If you have not done so there is no way to use it without Restoring it and losing your information.

Did this back along to mine. Plug it into itunes on your pc (or Mac) and click on the ipod icon on the left hand side. When the device options come up on the main screen, click on restore. Follow the steps and it should restore to factory settings. If you had icloud activated on the ipod all previous purchases should be in the cloud and ready to download onto the ipod afte rit has been restored to factory settings, otherwise you'll have to download them all again. Unfortunately, you must restore it in iTunes on your computer. There is no way to retrieve a forgotten pass lock code.
You will need to Restore your device from the same computer that you most recently synced to. See - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414.

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

missgen, as a mother of a 16 year old, I know all about temper tantrums. Let's not let that device go to waiste. You can hard reset that device by connecting it to a computer with iTunes downloaded to it. Once you connect the device, it will open iTunes. You will be provided with the option to "Use Recovery Mode." For your convenience, I've provided a very helpful link with the steps to reset that phone's password: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
Once the password has been reset, you can master that reset that device in Settings>General>Reset>"Erase All Content & Settings"

You will have to take it to an Apple Store (make an appointment) or an authorised Apple Service Centre together with proof of purchase.

By coincidence, this happened to my son just last night. You do NOT have to restore it to a new phone, but you probably want a current backup.
Luckily, you can still sync and back it up even if it's locked, so connect it to the computer you usually sync it to. Go to the summary page. It's easiest and fastest to use a local backup, so if iCloud backup is on, turn it off and click "Backup now".
After it backs up, either click "Restore iPhone", or
- hold home and the top button until the screen goes black, release the top and continue to hold the home button until iTunes says "iPhone in recovery mode detected".
Follow instructions to restore from backup, and then sync to restore content. Your phone will come up in an unlocked state. If you have any stuff that was purchased directly to the iPhone (only), you'll have to re-download it.
Remember to turn iCloud backups back on if you use them.
If you don't sync you iPhone to a computer then I *think* those instructions with the buttons will put it into a mode where you can restore it from the cloud (make sure it is NOT connected to a computer while you do this). Otherwise, you will have to restore it as a new phone, then go to settings, reset, then restore it from the cloud.
