Iphone. Lotus Notes

I will like to buy a Iphone, but I have 1 Question.
Is posibble to synchronize my contacts, calendar and emails wiyh Lotus Notes???

For email, I've started using VistoMobile. This will sync your lotus notes inbox with your iphone using an IMAP configuration. It requires a desktop client and only available on windows.
VistoMobile provides a web lookup to the corporate directory. This is limited to email, at this point, and only allows an email to be created with a single address.
For Calendar entries, I setup a forwarding rule in Notes to forward meeting requests, updates, etc. to a Live Mail account. Using the httpmail plug-in for Leopard, I can access these on the MAC to update ical, even from behind the corporate firewall.
Entries that I add on the iPhone, I forward to the corporate account once they are sync'd with iCal. Not ideal, but it works ok for me while I wait for a single complete solution.

IPhone - Lotus Notes - Mac Outlook

Here's the problem:
I have an iPhone5s; I also have a MacBook Pro; I am running the latest OS on both. I also have a client who uses Lotus Notes for their email and calendars and I make extensive use of WebEx GoToMeeting. Everything is/was hunky-dory until I began to see that all of their calendar invites were being recognized as EST rather than EDT. Of course, both my iPhone and Mac 'tastefully' put them in as EDT, making me an hour late for every meeting.
Now the issue does not appear to be present in Outlook for Mac 2011, and there are some nice features of that package. However, I can't figure out how to synch the calendars between iPhone and Outlook by any means, and it seems to me the literature out there suggests there isn't a lot of hope for success here.
So any help/guidance would be most appreciated. My desired solution would be to find a solution to the iPhone <--> Lotus Notes calendar problem as that would mean that all of the calendars and contacts that I have so diligently organized on my Mac and on iCloud would be leveraged. However, if that problem is beyond resolution, real support/help on iPhone to Outlook calendar synchronization (contacts would be nice, but not as critical) would be wonderful.

...btw, there is no issue with Mail.

The iTunes sync process does not include email account mailboxes and messages. There is an option to automatically transfer email account settings for an existing email account to the iPhone's mail client via the iTunes sync process, but that is it.

IPhone sync with Lotus Notes

I have to admit that I was quite dissapointed to find out that it is still not possible to sync the new iPhone to Lotus Notes without using a 3rd provider...
Can anyone give me an update to when Apple will be offering a software for this?
I would really expect more from a company like Apple...

We use Lotus Notes v8.5 here at work, and I've set up my iPhone to work with it. Using this Notes version has some limitations (not true push email, calendar only day at a time, etc.), but it's usable.
Basically, if you access your Notes via the web, you'll get what Lotus calls the "Ultralight" Notes on your iPhone. This is only true, of course, if you're using v8.5 (I believe).
Version 8.5.1 will, according to IBM, support true push email.

When I create a calendar invitation on my iphone 4s and select a recipients "work" email address (Lotus Notes email address), the invite actually is sent to that persons iphone calendar vs. their Lotus Notes calendar

You state your husband has Good installed on his iPhone to synchronize with his work Lotus Notes. Good synchronizes email, calendars, and contacts.

Good uses a separate email inbox, contact list, and calendar within the Good app (ughhh). But Good is designed to look very similar to the native iOS apps. Is it possible your husband is viewing his Good calendar instead of the native iOS Calendar app? I think with default settings the Good calendar has a red status bar instead of the usual blue/gray.

Lotus Notes and IPHONE

I have my IPHONE and my Work Lotus Notes Synchronised but when I cancel a meeting from my Iphone it generates a number of emails to the attendee. Would anyone know why this is?

Are you cancelling the meeting or cancelling out of the notification?
If you cancel the meeting, I would expect the cancellation notice to go to all members of the meeting.

I' m able to sync from lotus to the iPhone but not the other way around.

I just got an iPhone 4s and our IT dept. tells me I have to go to an Apple store to get it set up to receive my e-mail using Lotus Notes. Is this for real and can someone save me the trip?

If you don't have Traveler in your company you can install My Notes - mobile client for IBM Notes.
Please note it requires installation of desktop part from www.mynotesapp.com

Iphone calender import / sync lotus notes / google calendar

I am chasing at the moment several possibilities to get my lotus notes calender and contact data into my iphone (eventually with googlecalendar). Does someone have a hint how to import or sync these data without installing software on my computer, or if its not possible which is the best software for that use?

I used Companionlink to export/sync my calendar and contacts between Lotus Notes and Google. Then used the iPhone's builtin software to sync with Google. Work fine. www.companionlink.com
Best solution though, if you have a Notes server, is to install IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. It is a free add-on to your Notes server and will give you push email, calendar and contacts on your iPhone.

IPhone mail - Lotus Notes - replying to email

My company uses Lotus Notes for email and IT has set me up to receive emails but I can't seem to reply to LN emails. What should the Outgoing Server setting be? I've tried the generic setting and the ATT setting. Thanks.

How do I add a Lotus Notes account to Entourage?

Our company uses Lotus Notes for email, and we recently got Lotus Notes Traveler set up on our iOS devices for email access via iPad/iPhones through Mail.
I'd like to know if it's possible to set up access to my Lotus Notes account through Entourage 2008. I'm guessing that it uses either IMAP or Exchange, but I haven't been able to find the right combination of settings to make it works. Before I spend too much time on this, I'd first like to know if it's even possible.
If it is, how would I go about doing it? My series of questions below:
1. How do I find out whether it's IMAP or Exchange? Please note that I CANNOT ask my administrator about anything in this message, so that is not an option.
2. Do I have to be on my company's domain to make this work? My Mac Lotus Notes client works fine and I'm currently not on the domain.
3. In the settings on my iPad (screenshot below - actual server names removed for obvious reasons), it says "Exchange Account" at the top, the under Server is lists "server.company.com/servlet/traveler and under Email is lists : "Firstname [email protected]/servlet/traveler" (space included on the name). Are these settings of any use in Entourage? Seems odd to me that the "Email" field isn't actually my email address (which is [email protected]).
4. If the settings ARE of use in Entourage, where would I insert them?

It could potentially be a glitch with the servers when you have tried adding it. Although it may seem a silly suggestion have you done a battery pull (remove battery, wait 30 seconds and reinsert) - this may clear the problem.
A security wipe of the phone may also work but ensure you do a backup before hand. Otherwise a call to your mobile carrier to see if they can assist might be worth a try.

Sync Lotus Notes for Mac to iCal?

I'm a Mac User in a mostly PC-based office. Everyone here uses Lotus Notes for Email & Calendar. For a long time I've been able to get away with using Mac Mail and iCal but all email invitations I receive are usually off by a couple of hours due to some Lotus/iCal bug. Also, our assistant can't access my calendar as it's not on the Lotus Notes server.
I'm considering switching my calendar to Lotus Notes (which is installed on my Mac but dormant) but I'm wondering if there's a way I can get it to replicate or sync onto iCal so it will still appear on my iPhone?
Any suggestions? I found a programme called LipSync but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Thanks, KiltedTim, but did you even read my post. I highly doubt IBM would offer the notes client FREE with Mavericks, then offer a FREE patch for that FREE software so that those who upgrade to Yosemite can use it, but then not provide it for those trying to do a clean install.
I'm not suggesting that someone provide a free copy of something that is charged for or do anything illegal. IBM has always, and claims to still provide the Notes client at no charge. I had the thought that I am just not accessing it in the right place. If there is a link to purchase it, or a means to sign up, etc, that is what I'm looking for.

When will the Blackberry Desktop Manager support wired sync btw Lotus Notes calendar and Blackberry phone?
Pretty much the same way as what is currently supported under the BB desktop mgr in Windows.

Using the search engine in this forum , I noticed that same question was asked 1 year ago with no replies or unsupported feature replies, this leads me to believe we should just give up on this valid request and look at iPhone instead since BB desktop sw will not
be supported on the Mac <->Lotus notes.
Unfortunate but I take it RIM has other issues to solve.

Lotus Notes Contacts not updating properly

A user with an 8703e is having trouble updating contacts wirelessly on the handheld.
When a contact is edited (like add a new phone number) on the Lotus Notes Client version 8.02 and a replication is done the update does not take place on the handheld.
However if a new contact is created that update does take place.
We are using BES version 4.1.5.24.
The handheld is using software version 4.1.0.377

You can tell what account they are in by opening Contacts, tapping Groups, then selecting your non-iCloud groups one at a time to see the contacts that belong to each non-iCloud account.
Let's assume that they are scattered across multiple iCloud accounts as you stated. To get them all in iCloud, do the following:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup to your phone. (You'll need to get the "Pro" version if you have more than 500 contacts that you need to copy to iCloud.) Use this to backup the remaining contacts on your phone (from the other accounts) as a vCard attachment to an email that you send to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section), set this to iCloud.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap each of the other accounts that you are syncing contacts with (such as Gmail) and turn off contacts syncing. This will prevent having duplicates when you re-import them from the backup your made earlier.
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the contacts from the other accounts back to your phone. They should be in iCloud, and as a result, will sync to your other devices.
