IPhone makes random phone call
Today I had a random number (not in my contacts) text me asking why I called them. I went on my recents, however, and no record of the phone call was present. The person even screenshotted my phone call on their phone, but I still don't know how I could've possibly called them. I wasn't using my phone at the time, and once again, the phone call was not recorded in my recents. Could there be something wrong with my phone?
This is a legitimate problem. My brother in law is being ghost called by my phone and has sent me a screenshot. it is a serious issue and seems to infect others. I wish someone could fix this.

My iphone 4 has randomly phoned people from my address book two days running, and a week ago it randomly phoned my mum. On all of these occasions it was in my pocket, so the buttons could have been accidentally pressed - however I always keep it in a hard case so I don't understand how this can happen.
I have Siri turned off.
The two people it phoned apart from my mum were people I hardly know and it was between 7.30 and 7.45am. I didn't speak to them but they may have been disturbed by the calls, and if it goes on it will increase my phone bill. I was alerted to one of these calls when I heard an unfamiliar ringtone, and the other one when I took my phone out of my pocket and saw that it was lit up with the person I was unintentionally phoning on the screen.
Can anyone enlighten me as to why this has started to happen, and how I can stop these embarrassing random phonecalls from happening?
My service provider is O2.I also have the same problem, with my iPhone 5s, running iOS 8.1.

I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 7 now my phone constantly deletes all my contacts and takes days to download them from my iCloud again, constantly needs to be turned off and on sometimes several times to make a phone call, the scroll rarely works, is there anything I can do, the apple tech told me it was something I'd just have to get used to, my phone worked perfectly before the update.
Even if it is a hardware problem they should fix it regardless of warranty. If you buy a car and after 1.5 years the doors fall off due to a failure in their design and construction, do you think the car manufacturer could pull off what Apple is trying to do? Yes the car still delivers its primary objective of driving from A to B, but significant functionality has been lost due to their fault.
It is the same with this iPhone wifi problem. Apple are a disgrace, I have had significant Apple Hardware failures with my MacBook Pro and iPhone within 2 years of purchase. Pathetic quality. -
I have an iPhone 4s. Today I went on to my calendar app to find everything deleted from it. Then I went to make a phone call and every single one of my contacts has gone from my phone. Can I get them back and how?
Whoa whoa no need to go restoring stuff yet, once you've done that check to verify you have done what Overlook2011 IF that doesn't work for calendars ensure your default account for calendars is set to iCloud and in calendars that it is told to "Show all calendars"

can´t make phone calls, can´t recieve calls, can´t send msg, it´s stuck... I have to turn off iPhone to cancle phone call... on the other side it´s ringing but on my side it´s just stuck and nothing happening
You can try a hard reset by holding down the home button and the lock button at the same time until the apple appears. If that doesn't work I think you should definitely go into an apple store.

When you say "shift to speaker mode" are tapping on "speaker" icon thta appears on the screen when you take the phone away from your ear? IF so go to settings/general/accessibility/incoming calls and check "default"

To make and receive phone calls, here's what you need:

Your iPhone and your iPad or iPod touch need to use iOS 8 or later. Your Mac needs to use OS X Yosemite.
All devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
All devices must be signed in to FaceTime using the same iCloud account. This means any device that shares your Apple ID will get your phone calls. Look below for instructions on how to turn off iPhone cellular calls.

How do I change my phone settings on my iPhone 5 so that when I make a phone call while I am on the phone call my phone stays lit up. It never goes black so I am constantly hitting other buttons while I try to talk like mute or FaceTime or speaker! Please help this is so annoying! Is the phone in a case? Try taking it out of the case. If that doesn't work, then your proximity sensor is broken. You'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.
