My kitten (Mr. Kitty or Mister K Star), who I had just adopted from the SPCA (died on August 14, 2011) -- which has really put my mental state all over the kitten place (shopping, in a car, in public ...) ... I only had the poor guy for one month and he died of pneumonia.
Me driving in my vehicle has not been the same.
EXAMPLE:
I was driving in my car yesterday. And then today, I realized I could not get from point A to point B on my iphone G3. Well, I called AT & T and explained my situation. The guy ( AT & T rep ) told me that the "Maps" feature got bought out and it does not work. I thought to myself, "That's F-ing stupid." That will pee off infinite Apple iPhone users. Expressed, "I have been using Google Maps on my iPhone 3G ever since I got it." Asked, "are any other iPhone customers calling in having the same issues?"
Of course, I'm smart. I took a screen shot ("transit directions could not be found between these locations"). I was too busy to even notice that the icons at the top were on the "Bus" image. Duhhhhh. Only thing I can say, is ... that when I am driving in my car ... I'm multi-tasking. Some where in my drive (adventure), I accidentally touched the "Bus" icon like an idiot.
Therefore, when I tried to get one simple answer to help with my problem when dialing 611, the people (at AT & T) could not even provide a correct one just reading from a manual while on the job.
Luckily, my screen shot helped me out. It was the only way to go online and find this post from 2009. Then I had to re-look at my screen shot to even see that my "Bus" image was highlighted. So I just put the icon back onto the "Car."

Next time my weird self drives in my car, I need to remember, "Look at the top icons. Make sure it's on the 'car' and not the freakin' 'Bus' icon. LOL!!!!!"

it doesn't provide also to Saudi Arabia and UAE some gulf countries it doesn't provide directions in it
so i have to buy a program to get the directions in this countries ?

There is no Face time, I messages and the maps are not working even!

Transit directions could not be found

This the message I have been getting for a few months now. I am not sure what is going on, but when I try to get directions from place to place it is unable to tell me.
Does anyone else have this problem?

At the top of the directions page are three symbols, a car, a bus, and a man walking. Tap the car for most directions. Tap the bus for public transit directions if your city is on the list Tamara linked to. Tap the man for walking directions.
If you always get "transit directions could not be found" be sure to select the car symbol rather than the bus.

"file could not be found" but library location is correct

My problem has been posted before, but I cannot find a solution that has worked. My library has lived on a remote raid for months with no problems. The library location in the advanced tab is correct. The music that I have added to iTunes since March 18 is accessible, but all of my other music "could not be found." If I navigate to it and point iTunes to the correct path, it repairs the connection to the library, but I have far too much music to do this manually. Perhaps I lost connection to the raid temporarily on March 17, but the connection is fine now. Why won't the library reconnect?
I have tried closing iTunes, disconnecting from the raid, reconnecting, and starting iTunes again. I have tried re-setting the location in the advanced tab. Nothing.
Any suggestions short of deleting and rebuilding my library? I would be so appreciative if someone could help!

Did you did an import? The library may be available for auto-complete, but I believe you still need to import whatever you will use.

Error when launching Crystal XIR2 report ..."Table could not be found."

We have a customer that sees an error when launching any report in InfoView for Crystal Server XIR2:
Description: Error in File E:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Data\slvnsb41.pageserver\slvnsb41.pageserver\child.2\temp\procReportTemp\mgrTemp\ps_13ec5b68e6bfbc0.rpt: The table could not be found.
These steps have been taken:
1) The Crystal Server Business View install and BIAR file imports are successful.
2) Database connection has been configured and tested.
3) All the tables are browseable in the Business View Manager and contain data.
4) All the required tables exist in the database.
Options or suggestions anyone?

Can someone tell me how to open this as a SUPPORT CASE that someone will actually help solve?

Google Maps Error Message - "Driving directions could not be received"

Hi guys, i've had my iPhone for quite a while now and lately I'm getting the error message "Driving directions could not be received" when I'm in the maps application. I've reset the phone and I'm still getting that message. Any ideas as to whats going on?

Have you reset the iPhone by holding down the top and home buttons until you see the Apple logo? If it works after that, a reset fixed it.
Before we continue, please sync with your computer, so that we know the computer has your latest information. In addition please download any photos you have taken with the iPhone to your computer.
Then go to settings -> General -> Reset all settings, and try plotting the directions. Does it work?
If it does, we are going to try a few more steps to try and isolate where your issue might be occurring.
If it doesn't, try restoring the iPhone, and when prompted let it load the data from backup.
Does it work? If so, great. We fixed it with a restore.
If it still isn't working, I would suggest we try a restore, but not load the information from the backup on the computer and see if it starts working.

My Google Maps works just fine. Could be a network/coverage issue for you? or Wifi?
Also, if your battery life is not great.... have you checked these things:
1) Turn off Bluetooth when you're not using it (HUGE power drains)
2) Turn OFF WiFi when you're not using it (again, drains battery).
3) Do you charge your iPhone to completion? (Til you see the AC plug in the batter icon?).

I have a provider hosted app in sharepoint which works locally without problem. I followed this tutorial to publish it to azure

Hi,
The issue here is the mapping of the interface to the service in question, and usually points to a possible mistype or rename of something within your service architecture.
You need to make sure your namespace and service name here match your service name itself.

Here is what I did and so far seems it is wworking.
1. I deleted oDesk and ShareFile. I removed them using MacKeeper (I found this application very usefull for uninstalling applications as MacKeeper looks for them all over the computer: cache, preferences, application support etc.) While for oDesk is simple as I can look myself for oDesk in any file names, whith ShareFile was a little tricky to amke it amnually as MacKeeper find files that contain Citrix name then ShareFile. I will not guess unless I would search the internet on how to manually remove sharefile from my system.
2. I manually delete all cahe files and folders from ~Library and ~User/Library.
3. After reboot I installed Onyx and order maintanance where I checked all its options, including but not limited to DNS caches, fonts caches, everything.
4. After I reboot computer, I went in Disk Utility and Repaired permissions.
Reboot again. Now seems to work fine. At least odesk Team is working properly. I will have a second thought for installing ShareFile.
Some romanian mac users suggested to check my router connectivity and change some DNS in it. Looks like that was also a problem on some MACs. I recall the few weeks ago I had an issue with TP Link router. My computer wasn't connected to internet, though router showed that there is internet connection. I ping router from my computer and I received answer from ping. I ping google from computer, nothing. I ping google from router, was wroking. I connected the computer directly to internet without router, was wroking. When connected back through router, nothing. I contacted the guys from TP Link and they suggested to use google DNS instead of those my ISP provided. But since then I had not experienced any issue with router and internet, until now. The DNS are still those from google.
I will keep you updated if any issues are appear again. So far, it is working perfectly as it supposed to work.

Driving directions could not be received

I love this phone, I probably use the maps feature more than anything because I travel alot, but lately when I try to get directions it says driving directions could not be received. It used to only do this when I tried to go from Dallas to London, but now it wont let me go to the other side of town. I know both addresses are correct, they come up by themselves. Ive reset the phone twice and it hasnt helped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I just put in the cities and states and it went right to it. Point to point.
All I originally had was street address, city, state, and zip and no dice.
