IPhone music lost when I got a new iPhone due to theft
My iPhone was stolen and so I had to buy a new one. I got a new cell # when I purchased the new phone. When I synched the iPhone all of my contact info went to my iPhone byt NONE of my music did. When I check my Id info, it is all correct. Does anyone know how I can get my music? My frustration with the web site is that there is no apparent way to communicate with Apple about this.
Thanks
Hello Richard. I am sorry to see your having this issue. And I am sorry to see you had an issue with the iPhone.
As stated when you purchase content from iTunes Store it is stored on your PC/Mac. So when you open up iTunes. And you view your Library do you have music? If so the nothing is missing.
If music is there. Then is your issue that the music just will not Sync over? If so we can assist.
If your music is actually gone. We can assist some what. But we can not assist with recovering anything that did not come from the iTunes Store.
Posted below is the link on how to find lost music.
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/lostmusic/
If you can not find it or the link does not help. Fill out the forum on the bottom of that page. And an iTunes Store Support agent will do their best to assist you with this issue.

When I got my new iPhone and was trying to switch everything over I accidentally set up a new icloud account with one email and had one on my old iphone with another account. Does anyone know how I can merge the two accounts?
You cannot merge Apple IDs but you can go to Settings > iCloud and 'Delete Account'. When prompted to turn off documents and data, choose the only option which is Delete from my iPhone, but on the other prompt for Contacts, Calendars, etc you can choose 'Keep on my iPhone' Then once the Account is Deleted form the iPhone, log back in with the correct Apple ID and choose Merge when prompted. This will merge your data from this iPhone with that iCloud account effectively putting your devices on the same account.

A friend of my daughter's used my mac computer when she got her new iphone to help set it up. Now that I have a new iphone, her apps and all the app store information is stuck on my phone. Her app account keeps showing up when I try to install something new, and I obviously do not have her password. How do I get this off my phone??
Open iTunes on the computer. Without any iPhone plugged in, go to iTunes' menu and do Store > Sign Out.
The click the iTunes Store row on the left of the iTunes display. You can then sign on from the signon row on the right side of the display using the correct Apple ID and password. Then you'll be all set! -
I had an itunes account I shared with my family. I opened a separate account when I got a new phone but cant't transfer my library of music. I want to cancel new account and go back to original shared account. How do I do this?
Content is permanently tied to the account it is acquired with.
Apple ID's cannot be deleted.
Simply sign out of the undesired account and stop using it. Sign in with the desired account. -
I gave my mom I old iPhone 4s when I got the new one, I didn't wipe it because it was some stuff on there she wanted. I erased my email account from the phone but she still receives my emails. Where do I need to go to stop her from getting them?
Restore the phone as new.
Load the content she wants on there. -
When I got my new iphone 4, I gave my wife my old iphone. She has her own Apple Id but the icloud on her phone is in my email name account. If I delete it to create her own icloud account, will I loose my stuff on my icloud account?
Welcome to the Apple community.
When you delete the old account from the phone, the data is only deleted from that device, it is not deleted from the cloud. As such you will not lose the data off your phone either. -
when i got my new iphone 4, its in recovery mode. while restroing with itunes, im getting error at restoring firmware stage? what could be the reason? pls help me for solution.
You got a new iPhone 4, and out of the box the phone is in recovery mode? If that's the case, return it.
If you don't want to do that. what error code are you getting? -

My itunes sync stopped working when I got the new iphone. How to fix it?
My Iphone 4 worked great. It synced with my itunes perfectly. I;d buy a song on my computer and moments later it would also show up on my iphone. I thought I configured all the boxes correctly when I got the new iphone but now the wifi sync feature seems to have stopped working. I went back and checked and it appears all the right boxes are checked but still no sync. When I go to wifi sync in settings it says it has to be plugged in, locked and the home comuter available. I tried that and it still wont wifi sync. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Help please.
Stopped working as in it's totally unresponsive?
Try restarting. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears. -

I deleted a large number of contacts on one iphone when i got a new one. icloud must have automatically synced to the old one, then synced my new one to that, thus deleting many contacts. can i restore them? can i retrieve a snapshot of my icloud as it existed yesterday?
When a device that is connected to an icloud account has it's contacts deleted, the same contacts at icloud.com are also deleted and then the changes propagate to other computers and devices also connected to the same icloud account. In other words, the contacts are deleted everywhere. Also, any iOS backup to icloud does not include contacts or any of the other Apple data, like calendars, reminders, etc. The only way you can get that data back is if it was on a computer which has been frequently backed up. You restore the data from the backup. (This reference to "backup" is a local backup, it has nothing to do with icloud.)

I didn't back up my old iPhone when I got a new one. If I put my SIM card in my old iPhone and backup everything, will it transfer over to my new one?
Just back it up to your computer using iTunes By connecting it to your compute, launching iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Back Up (transfer purchases of prompted). Then restore the iTunes backup to your new phone.

When I got my new computer and transferred I tunes my songs in my play list play on my computer, but when I try to sync to my 3g Ipod, it only syncs a few albums and gives me a message that 100 song files can't be found. So only half of what I want is on my Ipod. I leave on a long trip now and really need the Ipod full of my music. I've tried reloading some CDs and replacing the old ones on there, but still they won't sync. What do I do?
You need to copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to the new one.
The iphone will sync itunes content and pics with one and only one computer at a time. If you sync to another, then it will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer.
The music sync is one - way -computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
If you sync contacts and calendars to a blank computer, then they will be erased as well.
Copy everything from the old computer. -
I am English but live in Spain, When I got my new Macbook Pro I set the language to English, so far so good. Then I stupidly set the keyboard to British when it is obviously a Spanish keyboard. How can I reset it to Spanish. Sorry cant find question mark
LizMaddock,
you can reset the input source to Spanish by selecting the Keyboard pane of System Preferences, selecting the Input Sources tab, and pressing the “+” button in the lower-left corner to select one of the Spanish input sources. The “Spanish – ISO” input source is most similar to the physical Spanish keyboard layout. -
When I got a new iPhone5, I experienced short battery life, and system sofware issues were not the cause. The camera also takes a blury picture regardless of lighting and I have the black one. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
What makes you so sure it isn't software?
The camera can be focused by take the point of focus on the touch screen.
If it is new as you said, it should be under warranty. Make a Genius Bar appointment or contact Apple with a repair request.
