I was on my way to the AT&T store when I noticed this discussion forum mentioning that Apple and AT&T are not supporting iPhones on corporate ATT account...

I'm very disappointed with this decision. What gives ? Seems like a large market being seeded to Samsung, Nokia, et al.

Mythbusters isn't always correct. GPS is very easy to overwhelm, for example.
It is impossible to test every situation. Just because someone doesn't find a problem in their test, doesn't mean it won't exist. The proof of a radiation problem is often empirical (and sometimes catastrophic) in nature.
If you keep up with the anonymous [NASA ASRS reports volunteered by pilots|http://asrs.arc.nasa.gov> you'll find many cases where airliners have experienced problems with onboard personal devices.
My favorite submittal is the jumbo jet that several times tried to land on autopilot in near zero-zero conditions. Twice they got near the runway and each time the autopilot suddenly dropped them fifty feet or so and they had to do a go around. Finally they figured out that someone in first class was using her cell phone each time they got close to call her friends to say they were landing. The third attempt succeeded after they took it away from her. There are lots of other examples.
As for cell / wifi in the sky, they use a thousandth of the normal power and are tested per aircraft.
But as the OP stated, this is not about whether it's a problem or not. It's known that about 15% of passengers are too stupid or lazy to turn off their phone on each flight. It's about the perception that the airplane mode doesn't work on the iPhone.

I had talked with three people at Apple tech support on the phone, one person in the Apple store in Indianapolis, plus the other places I mentioned. Only the one young man in the Apple store was even able to identify the problem which was the POP vs. IMAP issue. And then like you said he was only able to say he hoped it would be fixed in the next update release. I did call him back this morning and told him about your simple solution, that I had seen it at the Apple forum, and that he might suggest bringing this topic up at the next staff meeting. I also let my Verizon rep know and an agent at Comcast. Something so simple yet it took three days and a lot of frustration to get fixed. Thanks again. You're my hero! ~ Carol Thomas
Also forgot to mention ... I got the iPhone 6 Plus about three weeks ago and did not have this problem. But I did a backup of my iPhone 5S on the computer and then used that backup to restore to my new iPhone. The iPad I did differently and just set it up as a new iPad with no restoring from the old one. That must have made a difference on the phone because it was set up just like the 5S ... as a POP3.

Currently, I even though I don't have the app, I am not given the option to buy, only to "update", and when I click on that it either hangs or it complains that it can't since my Apple ID is not associated with my account.

And it was your wife's Apple ID that was used to download and install the Yosemite you are using on this computer? If so then I suggest you need to contact Apple to get his straightened out.

We have had GO-LIVE on 2008 April. They have executed balances carry forwrad for 2008 only. Do they need to carry forward balances for 2007 also?
Is this the reason, that the system is showing differances in F.08 report.

We have a issue for the Accumulated depreciation in FA not tally with GL account. The amount for the accumulated depreciation in the GL initially uploaded (amount not correct difference by 1cents) is not tally with fixed asset module. We unable to adjust the amount due to the accumulated depreciation GL account is set to "Recon. account for acct type- A Asset". Standard SAP is not allowed us to change the error message to warning message.
Any idea how to settle this issue?

Use the transaction ABF1 PK 70 and 75 fill in the g/l account from the asset and TType 100. Don't fill in asset number.
Give only for this case authorization for ABF1 when the values are ok take away this authorization

Am using firefox 5 and am not able of uploading any file as attachmenet using my Yahoo email account , this problem does not happen with hotmail account or when using IE.

when sending email through yahoo account , i cant upload any attachment with email, a sign of uploading lasts forever without uploading the file.
this issue do not happen with hotmail account or when using IE to browse Yahoo account.

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Ive checked the Remote-Enabled Module radio button, declared Import and Export parameters using Type typing and checked the Pass Value in export and import parameters but I still receive message Reference parameters are not allowed with RFC and not able to activate the function module.
Am I missing something?

I faced the same problem and solved it ,
You have defined a reference parameter for a remotely called
function module. However, only value parameters are allowed
for this type of module.
Procedure
Change the reference parameter to a value parameter.

Without the previous user's ID and password, or getting him to remove the phone from his list of devices, the iPhone is useless. There is no workaround for this and certainly where individuals are concerned Apple cannot help.
I have seen a suggestion that Apple may be willing to do this in a corporate situation like the one you are in, but I've seen no confirmation of this. You have nothing to lose by contacting Apple and asking, but don't be surprised if you are told it can't be done. This is a security device and if it was possible to bypass it there would be no point in having it in the first place.
