IPhone not authorized, or is it me ? Any Ideas ?
I have never been so frustrated with a simple device.
I am not authorized to transfer my purchases.
My old computer died. I "authorized" my new computer when I downloaded ITunes.
I reloaded all my music from my external hard drive.
BTW I OWN this music, and these apps. Bought and paid for.
I cannot transfer songs to my IPhone.

Some items (88) cannot be transferred because YOU are not authorized on this computer. (click on "authorize computer", check) Try again, same response.
Up to this point I had only wonderful dealings with APPLE, and truly thought this is a good company, that truly cares about its customers.

I made the mistake of resetting my iPod to factory defaults. Now it will only partially sync to my music library. I continually get an error message saying that certain songs are not authorized for my computer, although they are in the iTunes library on the computer and will play. It's these songs that won't transfer to the iPod. I have deauthorized and re-authorized the computer but no joy. Any ideas?

I was thinking that some of the songs in your library may have been purchased under a different apple id. You have already done the first thing I would have done by de authorizing and re authorizing. To verify this, highlight one of the songs that will not sync over and use File>Get Info. In the Summary section there will be an Apple ID entry. If it shows something different than what you are currently using then I recommend signing into the Apple ID it shows and authorizing the computer for that one as well.

Hi ... After I have installed IOS 6 on my Iphone 4, the WiFi connection is trying to authenticate in the Apple site but the page is not found.
Do you have any idea on how to bypass this authentication ??

After I have wait for 30 minutes without do anything, the wifi interface worked.
I don't know if Apple could fix the issue on their site or the reboot of the Iphone solved the problem.
I'm installing IOS 6 on the Iphone 4 of my wife. Let's see if the behaviour is the same.
I will post the informations after finish the installation.

My IPhone 5 will not recognize that I have an Itunes Match account. When I try to turn the Itunes Match button on in settings I get a mesage saying I am not subscribed to ITunes Match. This does not happen with my Ipad. Any Ideas what to do?

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,

iTunes says I have 2.5 gigs of music on my iPhone 5s but my iPhone says I have no content. Any idea where my music went to? I deleted all my music and started fresh with no music. I uploaded several artists worth of music to my iPhone from iTunes and synced the phone. It seems to load from iTunes to the phone but when I disconnect from my comp it's all gone.

iTunes will not import non-iTunes purchases from iOS devices. If you still have your old computer you can transfer your iTunes library to your new one.

Same here, I get no sound from videos, text messages. This happens for a while, then it works again then it doesn't work. When I go to settings, my "change with buttons" is on but buttons don't work. I have restored it but there is no change. Here is a picture of my screen when i try to change volume.

Not sure why this happened, but are you syncing calendar events direct with a supported calendar app on your computer?
If not, calendar events are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. If you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes since this data went missing, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup. Do not sync with iTunes before doing so, and do not update your iPhone's backup before doing so when prompted. -
My phone's speakers only work sometimes. It started recently, and I just moved to Hawaii so I am at the beach alot. Could sand have something to do with this? Sometimes it is better when I plug in my headphones, but not all of the time. Any idea's?

I am selling an iPad and cleared its contents and settings as given in other exchanges on this site but when I downloaded a new app on my iPhone it appeared on the iPad. Any idea why?
Sounds like you did not set back as new, or if you did you reset the iPad with your Apple Id again.
If it had been reset back as new it would have stayed at the Begin Setup screen, and you wouldn't have been able to see any Apps being downloaded, as you wouldn't have acccess to the Home Screen yet.
Follow Diavonex's post to restore the iPAd back to factory defaults, and that's it. It should be back to the Setup screen, without any Apple Id associated with it, and no Home screen visible. -
My 3gs wont restore after ios 5 update. I have tried firmware restore and restore from backup, neither works. All I get is "iphone restore failed because backup session failed" Any ideas on how to make a successful restore with this ios 5 update?
I was having the same problem, I backed up my phone and then updated to iOS 5 and then it kept telling me it could not restore from my backup as it had failed. After reading a bunch of forums and posts and trying everything, I did manage to get it to work. I had tried the Time zone, creating a new computer user account, disabling anti-virus, etc.
It took a combination of things, one of which was disabling the anti-virus completely and copying the contents of the backup folder to my desktop and then deleting everything in the backup folder. Then I rebooted the PC, entirely disabled the anti-virus, copied the one backup I wanted to restore from the desktop to the backup folder and then trying to restore. Low and behold the phone said restoring from backup and I am back in business, so when in doubt, trying combining some of the fixes together. -

I have purchased two audiobooks from iTunes. They play perfectly for about 13 minutes and then abruptly stop. I have purchased other audiobooks and have not had a problem. Please, any ideas on why this is happening and what can I do to fix it. Thanks!
As long as you use your computer like King Penguin stated for Report a Problem, you should be fine. If you can't get to your computer, are not using your computer, or your computer is not longer in the mix since you have been using your iPad, email iTunes support about the problem.
