Try a reboot press & hold down power button & menu button hold both down and wait for
the Apple Logo this may take upto 20 seconds then see if iPhones comes on
if not take to Apple store.

My iPhone 4s is not making any noise except for when someone calls me, an alarm going off, or unlocking it.

I have no sound except for my ringtone, alarm, and sometimes the unlocking noise. No text alerts, email alerts, media noise, Pandora noise, iTunes noise, anything. First on my own I restored it to factory settings, cleaned the dock and head jack, did the head phone trick in and out, and I have checked for water damage. I have searched the threads and Google for solutions but none have worked. I talked to Apple today and they made me restore it again and it still doesn't work.
^Usually theres a volume bar on videos, none here.
^Theres no thing to slide the sound back and forth here.
^Also no sound bar here.

Also I should mention that Apple said it is a hardware issue, but a software issue.

IPhone 4 not making any sound.

I just bought a new iPhone 4. All of a sudden today it has stopped making any noise. Nothing for a call, new text, song from the iPod, nothing!! I've checked all the settings under sounds (I can't even hear the previews from all the sounds). I've even restarted the phone. Any ideas on what's going on? Its brand new and I'm already having issues.

Is it still connected to the Bluetooth in your car (been there, done that)?
Put the phone in handsfree speaker mode when on a call and let us know if you hear any sounds then.

IPad is not making any sound

iPad is not making any sound when typing, watching video from YouTube and video from cameroll. I don't even hear when I receive notification. My mom and dad has the same problem on their iPhone 4s. My mom when to apple store to replace for a new phone but do I have to go to the apple store to replace it too? I also tried a restore but it did not work. Please answer!

DISCONNECT BLUETOOTH.
After doing all the ridiculous resetting and changing/checking the settings by the advice given on these forums and on YouTube, I finally discovered that if you have your apple device connected to any other device by bluetooth you will not get any audio but by the device it's connected to. How un-awesome is that? Ive always been used to how my android devices work with Bluetooth which is when the system you're connected to is off or in a different mode, you still have audio. That makes perfect sense and is convenient, right? But I thought my brand new ipad was busted when I connected to my entertainment system by Bluetooth and haven't been getting any audio the last few weeks. So basically I need to go into settings every stinking time if I want to hear my game or show my wife a YouTube video. Regretting ever got this overpriced tablet...

From one day to another the iPad is not making any sounds (lock, keyboard, games) except for music on iTunes, Pandora and video on Netflix. All sounds are activated on the iPad's general settings. I have synced it and updated the OS to no avail. Any help or suggestions is gratly appreciated.

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Just wondering if somebody could help,suddenly my phone has stopped making any noise when somebody calls or text me,ive tried to reset, and just turn the phone off but nothing seems to work,ive tried everything i can think off,could somebody please help me

You can check the general sound volume by putting the phone to sleep, hit the power button, then double tap the home button. The volume slider comes up, drag it all the way to the right.

Event entered on iPhone not making it to mobileme and iCal

Since the 2.1 update, events entered in my iphone are not making it to mobileme or my laptop. Nor is it going the other way (laptop to me and iphone.) Any suggestions appreciated.

Just deleted the account on my iphone and set it up and it seems to be working again. Also got all my ical colors correct across the 3 platforms.

Okay soi unlocked my iphone and now its not reading any sim. It just says no service all the time and says that its under sprint :( yes it does have a simslot and yes ive tried the airplane, reboot, and reinsterting it! All im getting is no service. Like if its not reading the sim

Push notifications are not making any sounds. (iPhone 4)

Hello, I am having an issue with sounds from my push-notifications. I have all phone sounds enabled, the volume turned up, and all the sound options for the desired applications set to allow push-notifications, AND to make noise.
All of my other phone sounds work, calls, SMS, vibrate, alarms, everything else EXCEPT push-notification sounds. I can go in to my AIM settings and even hear the desired sound play in the settings menu, however when I get an AIM message, no sound.
What gives? All my firmware is up to date.

You can only get an authorized unlock for your AT&T device through AT&T, so your iPhone was probably jailbroken. See this for more info -> iPhone: About unlocking

Why iphone dont do this?
I always download lots of photo from different apps and why they all go to "Camera roll" instead of making a new album for the photos?
example. i downloaded a photo from viber, iphone should create an album named "Viber" on the Photo because the photo is from there and if its from facebook its named "Facebook" or from the internet "Download". If you guys know what i mean, because its like a trash can 1 basket with different things.
and what im asking is album of photos for each apps.
Is there a way or something that can do that?

I agree with you absolutely, I have the same problem and dont be sorry to compare with android, because Apple in his great wish to be very original loosing some quality on functional side. I become Iphone 5s user two weeks ago and day by day I notice more and more things that they are not right. And even here i dont see any wish from apple people to change something.
Sorry to say but I am very disappointed.

IPhone not making sounds when in dock

When I put my iPhone in the Dock to sit, it will act like it is on vibrate, when it is, of course, on ring. It will still play music and my even my ringtone when I go into the sound settings, but it won't make the text message sound or anyother sound like that (locking sound, new mail, etc.) When out of the Dock, it works perfectly fine. Any ideas?

Not normal for sure. I would say try rebooting the phone (see here)
