IPhone not working with my Sky Broadband wireless network!! Please help!!

I've just migrated from Tiscali to Sky Broadband, the iPhone worked perfectly with Tiscali but it won't with Sky across the wireless network. I set the new router up (it takes only minutes), and I easily got both iMacs in the house up and running in no time at all. But when I head into the Wi-Fi menu on both my iPhone and my parent's iPod Touch, it keeps saying "Unable to connect". It offers no explanation why, but the network key Sky gives you on a little card (it's either WEP or WPA) is what I am going off to enter the details. I've even tried to manually type the SSID instead of it searching for it, but even that's a no-go. Can anyone help me? I just have no idea what could be doing it. If both Macs work fine, and both Xbox 360s... I don't see why the iPhone shouldn't.

I've got it working now, I had tried the caps before and it didn't work... just tried it again now and it's come on. Weird. Anyway thanks for the help

Sometimes the Yosemite upgrade breaks the install. You may have to uninstall and reinstall CS6, and do so as an administrator.

The latest version of Real Player updated on July 12, 2011 addresses this problem. You must check for Real Player updates AFTER you install Firefox 5.
Click on the upper left hand corner of the Real Player screen to check for updates. After you download the newest version of Real Player, the video downloading feature will work again!

My iPod Classic says to Use iTunes to Restore but whenever I plug in my iPod into my computer, iTunes doesn't detect it and while it's plugged in and not connecting, it just says "Do not Disconnect" with a 'no' sign blinking. PLEASE HELP!!

I've already tried putting it into Disk Mode but nothing happens. Tried restarting computer and a new USB cord but still not working!

I don't have another PC to check, I only have one which is the one not working with my iPod.

IPhone not working with Windows 7. Message asks to install 64-bit version

Full error message; "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes".
I have just bought my wife a brand new iPhone 32Gb 3S for Christmas & now it's the most expensive paperweight I own. My wife has also just bought me a brand new 16Gb Nano, which also now comes up with error messages when connected, saying that it faild to load and I need to disconnect it & reconnect it. Naturally, this does not work either.
I'm running Windows 7 & the current 64 bit version of iTunes, but no matter what I do, the above error message comes up.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, very carefully following the exact process & order as detailed by apple, with no luck.
Everywhere I look, there seems to be references to a piece of software that should exist on my computer; "Apple Mobile Device Application Support", yet this is not to be found anywhere.
I have spent over 2 hours on the phone with the Apple techies, with no results whatsoever.
Can ANYONE assist me as I'm going completely bonkers & am about to storm into the Apple store and demand my money back?

The MSCONFIG workaround requires I-tunes and I-phone code to be installed on the machine. The problem is that I-tunes will not install on XP 64-bit machines. It will install on Vista but NOT XP. MSCONFIG requires the user to allow code that can't be on the machine until it's been installed! Apple staff have confirmed this to me over the phone after I spent half a day trying to figure it out.

There are also a couple of 3rd party I-pod readers which, if I name them, will probably get me kicked off the list. Why the f*ck can't Apple sort this out. XP 64 bit has been around for FIVE YEARS!!!

Iphone not working with car headunit

I have a JVC KW-NX7000 installed in my 2004 Subaru WRX wagon. I must say the head unit is amazing, i love it! I just recently bought a Iphone 3g. I read all the info about both the head unit and phone and then bought a JVC KS-U30 audio/video cable.
I can not get the head unit to see the phone. Just keeps telling me no USB device but will charge the iphone. Thought it might be the cable or head unit so tryed a friends ipod touch. That worked perfict. Tryed another friends iphone 3g also with no luck. I have the AV setting on the head unit set to Ipod, is there another setting i am missing-maby one on the phone? Any help would be much appriciated.

I have a simmilar problem, i have a JVC KD-R606 head unit and seem to have connection issues first thing in the morning or when it's a bit cold it just will not connect, also when i do get it to connect the audio switches over to the Stereo bluetooth connection from the dock connector after about 20 seconds and then have to manually go through the iphone to change the output source to the dock connector, it still works ok when a phone call comes in it switches to the bluetooth automatically and back to the dock connector again, it's getting a bit annoying when it's connecting for the first time and keeps switching speaker source.

Unlocked iPhone not working with Vodafone

I have an awkward problem. A couple of months ago I bought an unlocked iphone in Italy because I was moving to the Netherlands and I knew they didn't sell unlocked iPhones there. In the meantime I successfully used my Italian prepaid SIM card.
Now I bought a Vodafone NL SIM card. The first time I tried to use it, I got a No Service message on my iPhone but apparently the SIM was working with another cheap phone that I have. Today I went to the Vodafone store where I bought the SIM and they replaced the SIM card twice. Apparently the last SIM card was working, I could call and receive calls, send and receive text messages.
Unfortunately, I can use the phone just for 10 minutes, then I get a No Service message. I have to reboot my iPhone and then it works again (for 10 minutes).
Vodafone told me that they did everything they could and the problem depends on my phone (they even support the iPhone, all the settings are right, but still no luck).
Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Do you think this problem depends on the iPhone?
I really don't know what to do and I have a 1 year contract (even if it is only 10 € p/m, it is still annoying).

Iphone airprint does not work on my new HP8500 Premier (a910n). please help.

I just got the HP 8500A premier printer (a910n) and it's set up for wireless printing from my 2 laptops at home. I just tried printing from my iphone 4 but it is unable to locate the printer.
Does anyone know how I can fix that? The product page clearly said this model works with apple's airprint... but i don't find any info.

Airprint DOES work with HP 8500!!!!!!!!!!
1. Make sure your computer is connected to your network and is on.
2. Go to the hp website. Find the page for drivers, software and downloads and go there.
3. Select your product ( ie. hp 8500a plus all-in-one). Find "firmware" in the list. If you aren't sure print a test page from your printer and get it from there.
4. Download the file, save it to your desktop.
5. After it saves to your desktop, open the file and click "run".
6. Tell your computer and your anti-virus to trust and to continue.
7. After running the update, you will see a bar go across your computer screen saying that it is updating your printer. If you then look at your printer, it should show a green screen, this means it is working. Give it time to do its thing. The screen might flash on and off, but that is ok.
8. Finally, your printer will turn off and restart, which means the download is complete, it will also print off a "Self Test Diagnostics" page.
9. On your computer, it should say it is completed updating your printer where it had the bar going across saying it was updating it.
Now you should be able to print from your iphone, ipad, or ipod using airprint.

My iphone has always synced up with my macbook no problem but recently when I plug it in and walk away I come back and the sync bar is half full
and will not go any further. I have tried turing off airport and restarting the phone and comp but nothing seems to work. I have all the most current
versions of software and I don't know why it isn't working. Everything I have read on other forums does not help either. Who can solve this

No one suggested "disabling everything" on your Mac, just security apps. The fact that it worked before means nothing - these apps update themselves frequently and what's on your Mac today isn't the same, Also, updates to the iOS and iTunes make a difference.
The problem could be in the phone. Has your phone EVER been jailbroken or hacked to downgrade the iOS or unlock? Did you try resetting (press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears)?

What options do you have set on the Music Tab for your iPad in iTunes?

We are a Novell site and have a mixed group of computers on site. Everything from Linux, to Mac, to Windows, XP and 7 both Pro. We have the network set up that when a user logs in their "my documents folder" is redirected to a network drive. We have had no issues with this in Windows XP pro. However on Windows 7 Pro we can net get this to work. Here are the steps
Log in as local admin with is default so mapping or anything special.
Next we log in as our self which brings up the network mapping
We install the program
Then what is supposed to happen is when ever someone logs into that machine they have access to all programs and everything automatically saves to their network drive. However this is not happening. If you sign in as local admin it all works fine but as soon as you add the network portion we receive an error stating that itunes could not start due to insufficient rights.
Can someone please help me with this.

novell.support.zenworks.configuration-management.10.policies is a better
forum since ZDM7 does not apply in the Windows 7 world.
However, I would start testing without any policies.
Most likely one of those policies is causing the issue.
Then it would be a question to ask on the iTunes about that policy such
as redirected folders.
ZCM's only role would be if the redirection was successful or not.

Your server is Novell? Try running the machine in Virtual XP mode.

Ipod not working with my computer.....help

ok my ipod been like this since 5 months ....the problem is that my ipod will not connect to my computer i tried everything but everytime i try to connect it it just sits there and a couple of seconds the recharge bettery logo shows up. i tried deleting all my music in my computer and reinstalling itunes but it is still is the same. i tired connecting it to other usb cords and tried connecting into diffrent ports on my computer but still nothing... can someone help me pls because i cant upload nething into my ipod and im tired of listeing to the same songs now thx........

after 2 weeks of searching apple.com and other forums online for why won't itunes work, i bought a windows compatible mp3 player (Creative Zen Nano) and it wouldn't work either so realized it was my OS. since i am not computer smart at all - i got someone to reformat my PC - had to save everything to disc that i would need after - as i guess doing this restores your computer to the day you bought it. But after itunes worked with no problems....good luck.
