Iphone notes files in mac

Hello,
Some time ago i lost all my notes from my iphone 4 when I was trying to copy to my mac.
I did a sync from the iphone to my snow leopard 10.6.8 Mail.app with Itunes, here is the log:

Unfortunately, the day after, I don´t remember how, I deleted the notes and disappeared from Mail.app, here is the log:

I thought I had lost all my notes and I try to forget and continue my live.
After time, I have the possibility to recover the notes from a recovery I've done from my Macintosh hard drive.
Looking for answers in discussions in this community and others, I can´t see information I need:
I don´t know the notes file extension. ¿How Itunes copied it? ¿What is the file extension?
And in case of find the notes file, ¿how to view the content?

Hi after time I can see the notes, the notes were store in mail.app, are stored in .emlx files, and synchronized from itunes with the sync service in a core data file in entity records that I unknow extension or type of file.
In my case, the notes never went to mail.app so I´m trying know to localize this core data file but what I suspect the information in this core data is corrupt and I can´t find it, or in other case the notes are not in the recovery files.
So, now i´m looking for file with the information of the notes when the notes were sync from itunes with the sync process, if someone knows something about this file, some no corrupt data to do a search with this criterya in all the files: the header of this file..
(I supposed the file is generated with the itunes sync process and I can check in the web (search: ios sync service) that this file exits, but I don´t find references about the internally data).

With the latest build of GarageBand on the device, move to the My Songs view, tap the Edit button at top right, select the shaking song you want to export, then tap the sharing arrow symbol at top left, tap iTunes, then GarageBand.
Connect the device to iTunes, select it in the left-hand column, then select the Apps tab. You should find the exported file in the File Sharing area of the GarageBand app and from there you can copy it to your computer, then open it with the GarageBand application.

The Mac Pro - the desktop computer - does not support Airdrop, if that's what you mean.

Bluetooth on iphone not connecting to mac

hi. i turn on my bluetooth on my iphone and the mac at school, but it never really finds my iphone, but it finds my friends regular phone that is a voyager.
is there anything wrong with my iphone's bluetooth?

There is at least 1 app that uses bluetooth to transfer files between the iPhone and the Mac. It is Reunion, which is a genealogy program.
I am having the same difficulty in getting my 3GS to connect to my MacBookPro. I have updated software on the Mac, turned the phone, bluetooth off and back on, also have the the home buttton/lock switch cycle to no avail. The Mac sees the iPhone but the iPhone doesn't see the Mac. Worked fine with my original iPhone.

IPhone not recognized after Mac security update

I have a Mac iBook G4 running OSX 10.4.11, and an iPhone 3G running OS 3.0. Up to now they have worked fine together. The phone was charged on the iBook this morning. This afternoon I ran software update on the Mac which installed the latest security update (2009-05, I think). After that, the phone is not recognized when plugged in the USB port. It no longer charges, nor is it recognized by iTunes.
I have checked the following to be sure that the security update is the culprit:
The iPhone with the same cable works fine on another Mac (running 10.5).
Other devices (thumb drive, printer) work fine in the same USB ports.
Finally, I restarted the iBook from the original installation CD for OSX 10.4. When running with the original version, the iPhone is recognized correctly.
So, I am reporting a problem with the security update, and I need to know how to back it off, or how to get it fixed.

NOTE: Software update also installed iTunes 9.0.1 along with updates to Quicktime and Safari. However, none of these apps even have to be running to show that the phone will not charge.

The problem was solved by resetting the System Management Unit, thanks to a helpful phone call with an Apple Expert. On the iBook this required unplugging, removing the battery, and holding the power button in for 15 seconds.
Earlier I tried zapping the PRAM, as someone suggested, but the phone was not recognized. But it turns out it did show up in the System Profiler.
I have no idea why this happened in the first place, right after the software update.

Iphone not recognize by mac

I have an old iphone1 that used to be able to connect to my mac alright. I can sync everythings.
A few months ago, it lost connection with mac. Mac or iTune did not recognize it any more.
I tried to re-install iTune multiple times but did not work.
I tried to gove to different folder to delete files according to online tips but did not work.
Is any friend here could give me a good advice. Apply wanted to charge me $29 so....

And click your Apple menu icon top left corner of your screen.. from the drop down menu click Software Update.
If you have any updates available, that may help also.

ICal on iPhone not syncing with Mac.

Does anyone know how I can get iCal on my iPhone 4s to sync with my computer? All my contacts and emails (thru yahoo) sync up just fine, but I can't get the calendars to sync. I do not have MobileMe or iCloud, but do I have to have them to do this? I wanted to use Apple's iCal, but maybe I should just use Yahoo's calendar feature instead? Any advice/help in this would be greatly appreciated.

My phone is doing the same thing. When I delete events on my mac, they are still present on the iphone after a sync. I have restored my phone, both from back up, and as a new iphone. This is very frustrating.

Accessing iPhone notes from the Mac

OK...
I'd like to access the notes in my iPhone's Notes App from my Macbook...I thought with ML I would at last be able to do that... alas it seems not.
Currently the notes I have on my iPhone are in a specific account within Notes known as "On My iPhone". This "On My iPhone" account does not show up in the new Notes App on my Mac...even though it presumably syncs in the back-up to iTunes.
Does anyone know how can I easily shift these Notes from the "On My iPhone" account to the "iCloud" account?
I am aware they can be copied, one by one to the iCloud Notes account...but I'm after a clever solution...I have well over a hundred of these things...and I'd also quite like to keep the notes' original properties, like their date.

Ah well, a few reasons maybe...
I kinda stopped using the Mail app a while back mainly because I found that draft emails were not being synced back up to Gmail reliably..
I started using Mail again when it integrated Notes...and I started to use mobileme account for notes at that time too...
But then I had a few negative/frustrating experiences where edits I made to notes via the phone were lost, either due to a poor network connection or a syncing snafu with mobileme (which incidentally wasn't as rare as one might have expected).
I decided after that to go back to the safety of editing notes and storing them locally on the phone.
So, that's the background.
Do you think there will be a clever way to address the situation or is it a lost cause?

Iphone not synching with mac

My iphone will not synch with my MAC. This just started. Iphoto says my phones name in the left nav bar then shows that no photos are available to upload. I have taken newer photos so this is not the case. The first time I tried it said something was locked. I went through all of my settings on my iphone5 and nothing seems to be locked. I rebooted my MAC as that was suggested by someone and that did not work.

I am having the same problem. When I send from my iPhone (old version), the messages are not shown in my send folder on my desktop Mac. They are showing up in MobileMe, however. I have checked settings on my Mac and on the phone and still can't figure out what has happened. This all started with the new syncing system.

Calendar in Iphone not syncing with Mac or Mobile Me

All of my calendar entries on my IPhone are in a calendar that shows up under Untitled Account. It wont sync with either my Mac or Mobile Me and I have tried every setting I know how. This has happened since I updated to 3.0.
Any suggestions on how to move this to one of my existing accounts that do sync?
Any help would be most appreciated.

Open "Settings" on the iPhone>Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks>Accounts>your MobileMe account and turn off the Calendar, when prompted delete data, wait two minutes turn Calendar back on, and when asked merge the data. Wait patiently, and hopefully you will be able to regain sync functions. If you are able, I recommend using a Wi-Fi connection to make the change
AFAIK, the merge function will incorporate calendars on your iPhone and MobileMe.
If you are not confident with that answer, be sure to try MobileMe Support and select the appropriate country/language, choose "Syncing with MobileMe," select "Troubleshooting MobileMe Sync issues," and then select "Chat Now."

I am testing find my iphone on my mac. However when I try to track it, it says No location avalable although it is connected to the internet.

Track what? And what is connected to the internet?
Are you sure "Find my Phone" is turned on in the settings of the iPhone. I assume you are saying the iPhone has internet turned on.

IMessage on iphone not working with mac users

Ever since the iMessage outage on Tuesday I have been unable to send iMessages from my iPhone to users on a MAC. Until today I was also unable to recieve messages from MAC users via iMessage as well, but this morning it seems that messages can come thorugh, I just can't get them out. I have tried restarting iMessgae, restarting my phone, nothing seems to be helping!

i have an iphone 4 and a macbook pro 13 inch but i setup my iphone through ios 5 on it so i didnt set it up on a computar but i can only put music and add playist's etc. from my imac's and not from my laptop?????

Rephrase your post. It makes no sense. You would've had to install ios 5 on your iPhone using a computer. Are you saying it's linked to your iMac but you want to link it to your MBP as well? be clear.

IPhone not Synch from Mac

I have a few notes in my iCloud mail. Some, from the beginning of the month. have appeared under Notes on my iPhone 5, but others have not, most noticeably one I updated recently. The default setting for Notes on my iPhone is iCloud. Can anyone tell me what I'm mean to do here.

That should have been a good answer, but I had done all of the steps previously on all my devices. Not sure why it's not working (at least not all the time). I suppose, I could disable and start again, but, I hate to do that.

HELP PLEASE - Notes Files Disappeared

I’m completely stunned.
I just tried to look at one of my iPhone notes to pull up some important data and noticed that all but one of them are gone. Poof – vanished.
I had spent hours entering this information – much of which I don’t have replicated elsewhere – thinking that the **** stuff would stay there on my phone (and backed up on my PC) until I edited or deleted them. Only to discover they can just magically disappear.
If this is a synching issue, than that’s a problem. All the notes were painstakingly entered by hand on my phone. I’ve never entered any notes on my PC so there’s absolutely no reason why synching should EVER override or delete any of my Notes. No reason whatsoever!!
I can’t begin to describe how livid I am that this could happen. I’m assuming that most people use Notes to store important information they want at their fingertips (confirmation numbers, flight information and frequent flyer numbers, etc.) Heck, I even had a notes page to record cute anecdotes related to my two little toddlers which I tend to quickly forget unless I jot them down right after they happen.
Maybe this is something that’s easily restored, and if so, good job Apple, for at least ensuring that important data isn’t randomly lost. If on the other hand those programmers managed to F this one up and created a synching process that will randomly deletes important files for no good reason….. then that’s a fatal flaw in my book and I’ll be **** ****** I ever switched to an iPhone.
And please don’t tell me that there’s a little pop-up that says some files will be modified or deleted when I synch. I expect files to be modified, deleted or overwritten when I synch, that's the way it should be. It should happen all the time, but ONLY when I actually modify or change or delete them. Not at random by a f’d up synching program.
Sorry for my attitude, but as I mentioned earlier, I am stunned. It’s not the time (hours) that I invested putting all this important stuff into various iPhone notes files, it’s the fact that unless this information can be recovered somehow, much of that data will be irrecoverable.
Since I haven't pulled up my Notes files in the last week or two, I have no idea when these files were erased. If anyone knows how I might locate and restore this data, please, please, please let me know.

There is an enormous glitch with the manner that Notes are being synced between the iPhone & desktops. Or even Apple's own Mail. Even within Mail itself there are huge problems with the system. So I can only imagine the situation on your side.
Excuse my language, but in essence, Apple is sodomizing it's users. For choosing to use Apple software & apps.
How in **** do a whole bunch of simple notes suddenly duplicate themselves when all I did was move them between mailboxes? Then, when I delete the duplicates, how come everything disappears? When I manage to figure everything out, why does a sync with the iPhone not honour the changes?
Wake up Apple engineers. This is not a small issue for the simple fact that Notes was touted as a big feature. So what happens when someone like CA2DC get royally screwed for simply choosing to trust your system?
