Iphone now it says it needs to be activated and plugged into itunes. It wont let me do anything because it keeps resetting. Help please.
I cant coonect it to the computer because the iphone keeps resetting itself and the restore or activation cannot be completed. Do I just need to get a new iphone? I have a 3gs and dont want to get a new iphone. Also the iphones sim card wont work and I have tried to do a hard reset mutiple times.
Sounds like your phone was jailbroken. If it was, you will need to get another phone. That phone is permanently disabled.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

My iPod Touch says it needs to be activated. I go to activate it using wifi and it comes up with Activation Error: this device is not registered as part of the iPod Developer Program. i recently bought the new iphone 5s and cannot use it becacuse i need to connect it too itunes version 11.1, However it wont let me download it because it says i have to download version 10.8.6 first but wont let me download that either so i have a brand new iphone that is useless because i cant download itunes on my macbook. how can i fix this?
10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) is an upgrade from Leopard, which you apparently have (10.5.8).
iTunes 11 requires 10.6.8 (not 10.8.6 as you have typed). If your Mac is an Intel one with at least 1Gb of RAM then you can buy Snow Leopard in the online Apple Store (type 'Snow Leopard' in the search box rather than browsing for it).
Once installed, download the combo updater to bring it up to 10.6.8:

You will then be able to install iTunes 11. However if your Mac has a PPC processor you cannot install Snow Leopard and will be unable to proceed. To check this, choose 'About This Mac' from the Apple menu and look where it says 'Processor' - it needs to say 'Intel' for you to be able to upgrade. -

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

My iPhone 5s is stuck in reboot and plug into iTunes
I tried to update my software version using iTunes. I got a #17 error. I tried rebooting my iPhone after unplugging it from my PC. No I am stuck in some type of loop where I get the Apple icon when I turn on the phone and it turns into the "plug into iTunes" symbol shortly after. When I plug it back into my PC and connect to iTunes it tells my I must restore my phone to original settings. When I opt for that it get the error 17 again. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi, that is call Recovery Mode. You can try Dr.Fone for iOS to get it out of the Recovery mode:
Step 1. download and install the trial version of Dr.Fone on your computer;
Step 2. Connect your iPhone with your computer via its USB cable;
Step 3. On your iPhone, click 'Trust'. Launch Dr.Fone for iOS and click the 'Restart the device' to start your iPhone. -

If it's an unlocked phone, any SIM will do. It doesn't even have to be tied to an active line of service. It just has to be a valid SIM. If it's carrier locked, it must be from the correct carrier.

The device was dropped in water, it is damaged, take it to Apple along with cash or a credit card and get an Out of Warranty replacement. -
I updated the operating system :-(. I had to set up a new Apple Store account. Every time I try to log in they tell me I have to accept cookies in order to log in.

I am lost and not sure what to do now. I locked my ipad which tells me to connect to to itunes. When I connect to either of my laptops it tells me that my ipad is locked and needs to have the code unlocked yet the ipad says to to go itunes as it is disabled. My laptops do not recognise my ipad. help! I forgot my passcode so it disabled my ipod untill i hooke dit up to iTunes. So i hooked it up today and iTunes says i cant access the ipod uness i put my passcode in on the ipod.
