IPhone on Parrot 3100

I'm using my iPhone in my car on a handsfree parrot 3100.
In the first time the device correctly as shown as "myname' s iPhone"
Since a week ago it has changed:It displays "local host"
Delete the device on the parrot and new pair doesnt help !
Can anyone help please ?

Isn't this entire thread somewhat premature? How many people out of the million plus iPhone's sold have actually had a phone that was DOA? Since they have to activate it in store, you will see if it works or not.
I think people get hyped up reading this trouble-shooting forum, and start worrying about things that their own phones won't have a problem with. This is a problem forum, short and simple. The million plus satisfied users don't even know this forum exists.
I would say to the OP -- hope you enjoy your iPhone when it arrives and don't worry so much about it. Chances you are going to have problems are less than a couple thousand in a million.

Iphone with Parrot 3200 LS Hands Free Car kit: photos for contacts?

Hello,
Is anyone else using the Parrot 3200 LS hands free car kit with your iphone? I have one, and so for it's been great, but I can't figure out how to get the photos associated with my contacts to transfer to the contacts in the Parrot unit. It synced the contacts no problem, just no photos with them. Has anyone been able to get their photos to come up on the parrot unit? How?

I have had the 3200 LS for 3 months. I havn't seen the photos transfer. Either my Parrot or my iphone does not work right. They will work showing my address book for two or three days then they will not pair for 3 or 4 weeks. I'm in one of those not pairing periods now. The grey symbol is lit. Under bluetooth it shows that they are paired but they don't work. Anyone got any ideas? I'll try working on the photos the next time it decides to work.

8900 and Parrot 3100 compatibility?

Can anyone tell me what level of syncing is possible with the 8900 and CK3100 please?
I had major issues with my past BB's, with lost calls and no address book sync'ing. I have heard things are MUCH improved with the 8900 but can anyone give any firsthand experience please?

It would be my pleasure. The 8900 is very good for multiple uses. It can load internet pages at verying rates, small ones within seconds, larger ones within tens of seconds (the cause of this is many "large" pages run scripts that cell phones aren't ment to run, but the blackberry handles them well). Email is quick and is simple to use. You can send a reply within a minute of receiving it if your fast enough. The keyboard is responsive, that is only slowed by your own response time, and the tracker ball can be set to various sensitivities to meet your liking. Pictures come out clear on the camera, (however I am not sure of the exact megapixles, but I do know its above 4) the only thing that causes blur is an unsteady hand. Music plays loud and crisp. Movies and videos can be played however they take up a lot of space on a memory stick. The only thing that I do not like about the 8900, is the fact that irregularly it will freeze. Some times the freezes only last a minute, some times the freezes last until you pull the battery out and turn the phone back on, at which point it takes another 5-10 minutes to unfreeze and reboot. The freezes can be bothersome and many occur as a phone call is coming in. However I never turn my Blackberry off, which may be the cause of the freezes. This minor issue should not stand in your way of purchasing an excellent phone. If I had to rate it I would give it a 9.75-10 (Note: The .25 missing is for the freezes, which are partly to my chaotic lifestyle) Your welcome -DarkDove

IPhone Car Mount

Ok before you answer please read my post carefully because i need exactly what im asking. I am looking for a mount for my iphone in the car. I dont want to have to mount it and then plug the cable in the bottom-more like a dock, put in and your done. The tomtom one does that but here is where i gets picky. I have an ipod cable that i installed in the back of my 2010 honda accord coupe (just got it i turn 17 and take my test on dec 7thhh!!!) so i need a dock with a 30pin in connecter on the back, not a 3.5 mm like the tomtom so i can plug the car cable into it. Basicaly im looking for the Apple iPhone dock with that outlet on the back, but for a car. Thanks guys in advance for any help!

I then endedup purchasing the ProClipUSA iPhone holster specific to the USA-SPEC cable:

This is perfect because the USASPEC interface cable screws into the ProClipUSA holster and is very solid. I jump in the car, holster the iPhone and I am gone. When I leave I just slide it out ... no clips or locks to worry about (slide in slide out). This was the best method I found since you can customize the installation to fit your car and your requirements.
The one down side for someone would be the ProClip is designed to securly hold the iPhone without a sleeve or cover or other clip/holster device. You will need to remove your iPhone's sleeve or cover in order to holster the iPhone since the specs of the ProClip are exact (which makes for a very secure & solid hold during driving). They have other models that are adjustable however they do not allow for the cable to be screwed into the base to act as a single solid unit. This was fine for me since do not have a sleeve or leather holster/clip and I only use the Invisible Shield.
As a side note I purchased the Parrot 3100 Bluetooth for my honda and it too is integrated into my stereo. Both work flawlessly.

E51 - problem sync log with parrot carkit

I just bought a Nokia E51 and I have a problem. It does not sync the dialled, answered, missed calls with my parrot carkit. I did not have this problem on the 6267. Why? What can I do? P.S. : BT SIM at distance is on and still having problem.

It's true, you can find at http://europe.nokia.com/A4143881 a soft called Nokia 810 Contact Download Application for Nokia S60 3rd edition devices that, after installing on the E51, the car kit will sync the contacts (only the contacts !!!) with the phone. I checked and it works with my parrot 3100 and my E51.
At this link you can find also the soft for all the S60 editions (1.2 and 2nd edition).
Please note that, after installing the software on the E51, you need to run it. The soft will ask you if it will automatically start when the phone will start => yes !
Still, a problem is unsolved, why it does not sync the missed/received/dialled calls with my parrot car kit?

Given that other models such as Nokia 5800EM and N95 I have no problem, this new phone nokia 6600i routinely connect to the device in the car and the conversation is EXCELLENT, but not working a green key for vocal calling ,
but if I press the right button on the phone working properly.

I noticed a difference ... if you connect to my Parrot 3100 Audi goes well, and I display the icon of the car.
If it connects to the Toyota parrot voice call does not work and the display I have the headphones icon.
I can force the type of external device from the phone?

Best car kit for n73

I have just got my N73 and like it a lot - bit slow but thats no great issue.
My problem is finding a decent suitable car kit
1) I already had the parrot 3100 (could not download contacts)
2) Then bought a ck-610 works great but when receive a text the car-610 resets and the text stays on the ck-610
3) Upgraded to a ck-616 now i cannot get contacts or text messages to receive.
4)So now I am toying with a ck-7w but that says issues
ck-15w does not show battery and network etc (whats point of the screen then)
5)and now a ck-20w but does not do something i cannot remember
Trouble is I upgraded my contract for 12 months to get this phone as its suppose to be compat with carkits and yet it aint
So just what do I do for a car kit, I spoke to nokia whom have said all 3 carkits are compatible yet when i buy them and install them and find out it does not nokia say "oh ys that is a known problem"
You try getting a refund when you've had the car kit installed.

I have N73 and I am thinking of buying CK-20W carkit+LD2 navigation pack. I read that there were some compatibility issues with N73 & CK-20W+LD2. From what I found out, the CK-20W works perfectly well with N73, until you start using LD2 for navigation. It sounds like everything works fine with your N73, despite the fact that on NOKIA Europe website, N73 is marked as not compatible wih LD2 nav pack. Does this mean that you are able to make/receive calls whilst navigating without phone hanging up, losing GPS signal etc? I would be grateful if you could confirm that you are using LD2 for navigating. Can you also tell me what firmware version you have installed on your N73?

6220 classic to Mercedes E class Bluetooth

I have just bought the above phone & it is great EXCEPT it will not show my Contacts listing on the car display using the Mercedes Bluetooth device.
Manual use of phone is fine but the Bluetooth will not pickup the Contacts list.
When the phone is used with another car fitted with a Parrot 3100 Bluetooth device everything works fine, including the Contacts list.
Does anyone know of a Download to upgrade th ephone to make it work with the Merc.

IPhone 3G with Parrot CK3000 Evolution

I ordered a Parrot CK3000 for my Saab the other day. It should be here Monday so I can install it. I have read though that I cannot sync my iPhone's contacts to it to be able to use the voice dialing and stuff. It's not the end of the world, I don't mind selecting a contact from the phone, I'm just wondering if it's something that Parrot and Apple might support in the future. I know Parrot just came out with some iPhone/iPod-specific devices, but they are out of my price range. Thanks in advance for any help!

Such an option is not available on the iPhone. Whether it will become available in the near future is not known. The fact is, that enabling iPhone to properly connect to other deviced via bluetooth is feasible, although it would take some rewrighting of iPhone's bluetooth support in general. 6120c Bluetooth problem with parrot ck 3100

I am having serious problems with the connection of my Nokia 6120 with my parrot ck 3100. During a call it will kill the microfone and no one can hear me. I am still hearing other talk.
After hanging up and calling again sometimes it is fixed and sometimes it is not.
Also the phone seams to lose the connections every once a while.
Anyone out there with the same problems or a solution for this.

Parrot Minikit and iPhone 3G

OK, before I go completely mad, has anyone, anyone actually got this thing to work with the iPhone???
Yes, I can receive calls, I can make them by choosing the contact on the phone and dialling, but voice dialling? No, nada, nothing.
My phone states in the bluetooth menu that it is set to sync contacts etc, but how the **** do I set this up? I've tried setting the Minikit to record voicetags, but can't send contacts from the phone.
Please please please help me before I throw either the whole lot, or me out of the window!!!

I'm afraid I'm new to all this OPP and iPhone/Parrot stuff. The Parrot will handle voice dialling using voice tags and the contacts from the phone's address book. The problem as I understand it is that those contacts have to be 'sent' to the Parrot first and the voice tags added. For that it appears the iPhone would need to support the Bluetooth Object Push Profile - and it doesn't. Without this option on the phone the Parrot Minikit is no better than a bluetooth earpiece.

Cannot connect iphone 5 to Parrot, battery is terrible and volumes are low? Anyone else got the same issues?

so these seem to be my issues with the phone so far. no matter what i try with my Parrot handsfree the phone will not connect. The general volumes of the phone seem lower than the iphone4, especially when using the new earphones. And i cant say im that impressed with the battery life. Today i made 2 phone calls, updated a facebook status and listened to one album on spotify, this resulting in a pretty much dead battery? doesnt seem right to me considering apple advertised the battery life being able to handle many hours of youtube streaming over 3G?

Ok, this is good info. It means that right now Apache is not able to serve content outside of your machine. That's why even the native browser can't see your site. Once we get that problem solved you should be able to see the site in Edge Inspect as well.
Here's some things to try:
This might be because your firewall is blocking port 8888. Try turning off your firewall temporarily and see if http://192.168.2.4:8888/yogaFest2013/ works from the native browser on your device
Open a terminal window and type in the following: netstat -an | grep "LISTEN" and let me know what it says
Open your httpd.conf file and look for a section like this:
# Listen: Allows you to bind Apache to specific IP addresses and/or
# ports, instead of the default. See also the <VirtualHost>
# directive.
# Change this to Listen on specific IP addresses as shown below to
