My iphone is out of warranty and was wondering if the following is covered for the out of warranty repair
accelerometer isnt working correctly, Gets stuck in Landscape Mode
Crack, Finger Width going up center back from Charging Port on case

An iPhone that has failed due to damage or liquid damage is eligible for Out-of-Warranty service. However, certain damage is ineligible for OOW service, including catastrophic damage, such as the device separating into multiple pieces, and inoperability caused by unauthorized modifications.
Apple reserves the right to determine whether or not your iPhone is eligible for Out-of-Warranty service. Replacement phones have a 90-day limited hardware warranty or assume the remainder of your standard warranty or AppleCare Protection Plan for iPhone coverage, whichever is longer.
No one here can answer this for certain. Apple determines this. If you live near an Apple store, you can make an appointment.

How do I get out of warranty repair on Zen Xtra 6

I installed Windows Media Player and it informed me my driver was out of date. I clicked on their link and downloaded the new driver and "Play for Sure" os update. When I applied the OS update, it stopped after the first time it said my Zen was rebooting. I had waited 6 hours as it said it could take some time to complete. Now it goes to the resuce mode. I've tried disk clean up, format the disk, and delete the os then tried to flash up OS. The computer says the device is not connected despite it showing up in "my computer". I emailed Tech Support and, being very helpful, they said it is outside warranty. I responded fine, how do I send it in for out of warranty repair. They replied to call Customer Service. Now there is a misnomer if I ever heard of it. I called the 800 number. The nice lady said she could sell me a new player but I'd have to call 405-742-6622 fpr tech support. So I call the number and listen to their blurb about visiting to the website which has *NO* reference on how to obtain out of warranty repair. Then the phone menu determines I am out of 60 day complimentary support but I can get a tutor session for $2.99?I know how to use the player, I've used it for a couple years. What I needed to know was how to send it in for out of warranty repair. Back to the 800 number. Woman will help me buy a new player but says there is no way to obtain repair out of warranty but I can pay for a tutor session. I've searched the knowledge base and forums here. I see this question asked before and it seems like no one has gotten an answer. Can anyone please tell me how to get out of the Twilight Zone of Awful Customer Service and reach someone who can tell me how to get it repaired out of warranty?Or am I doomed to write off my $600 Zen Xtra as a useless paperweight?I have an Archos AV500 which needed out of warranty repair and it took me less than 5 minutes on one phone call to make the arrangements...

Did you download the PC version? There is no DOS in OSX.
Look for the Mac version of AutoCAD.

How do I submit an application for an Express Replacement Service with an Out of Warranty repair?

My iPhone has a cracked screen and a disloged homescreen button but has all of a sudden stopped working for longer than 10 minutes unless plugged into a power source. I have reasearched and would like to have it replaced under the Express Replacement Service for an Out of Warranty repair. I can't however, locate the page to apply for this service? I received an email with a link to check on the status of the repair. The link is BROKEN and I cannot get any information. I have looked "around" for some answers but this seems to be where I need to go.

Out-of-Warranty Repair Shipping

Hi all,
A friend of mine has recently sent away an iPad for an out-of-warranty repair, though in the process neither Apple or Australia Post have a record of the whereabouts of the iPad. I would just like to establish who is reponsible for the whereabouts of the product once it has been surrendered to Australia Post, especially given it was prepaid post item (Apple pays, though is paid through their online system) and there was no option to include extra cover.

Living in the US and not knowing Australian law, I would guess the responsibility is the Post, unless they delivered the item to Apple and they lost it. In the US the USPS is responsible until delivery takes place. But there is always the caveate to insure and register the item so the sender has records of its shipping...not sure if you have that capability in Aus.

Damaged third party fixed iPhone out of warranty replacement

Okay so the humidity or something yesterday made both my iPad 1 and iPhone 4s screens screw up.
My camera lense fogged up and was all condensation-y so all pics were blurry.
It looks like there is a smudge on the touchscreens. The iPad was typing and click stuff by itself. iPhone keyboard won't let me use the bottom keys in msgs and certain apps so the touchscreen is not responding. iPhone wake/sleep bottom was turning off and on and screenshoting.
It was like the symptoms of water damage except I never dunked them in water or anything and the water damage indicators on iPhone aren't red. I don't know if iPad 1 has water damage indicators.
So right that afternoon I passed apple store on george st, told me they were busy and I had to book an appointment for tommorrow.
I put my iPad in rice last night and it's fine now... Just smudge on the touch screen.
So today I bought my iPhone into the genius bar, hoping to get it fixed or replaced because it's not even 2 years old and if you argue enough the Australia consumer laws blah blah sometimes you can get an out of warranty replacement for free.
By this time, the camera condensation has evaporated and sleep/wake button stopped spazzing but keyboard was still stuffed.
They said they can't do anything, not even offer the $279 replacement, because when I cracked my screen I got it replaced by a third party.
Said it was because the screen is non genuine that my iPhone is acting like this.
Which it isn't, because my iPad also screwed up which has a genuine screen.
Sorry about the essay.
So how does apple tell if I got the screen fixed or not?
Has anybody gotten apple to fix a third party screen replacement phone?
If my iPad didn't start working again, would they have fixed it?

The genuine Apple module has various identifying marks that are missing from a third-party part. Apple will not attempt to repair an iDevice that was "fixed" by an end-user, or an unauthorized third-party.

Your question is ambiguous but, if you mean "if my iPad failed - not due to accidental damage - and I returned it to Apple without having a third-party muck around with it, would Apple fix it?" Apple has an out-of-warranty exchange (not repair) iPads, and you'll be charged for it.

No. Apple will never touch that phone again. Go back to the "technician" that ruined your phone. Maybe he will offer you "warranty" service and give you some cash that you can use in buying a new phone.

I got a laptop is out of warranty and I want to get a repair quote.
Is there have any repair centre around north ryde area?
My laptop cannot turn on at all even though with the power connected.
I want to ring HP and ask but I saw it, out of warranty item for phone support will charge but I just want to send my laptop for inspection and I'm not asking for real support on the laptop..
My computer is HP Pavilion dv6700 special edition entertainment PC.

I discovered on E-bay someone offering to repair headphone jack problems on Zen Micros for $24.99. + 9.99 shipping. He also works on other Zen Models too. I had a Zen Xtra that had taken a fall causing the headphone jack to work just on one side. I sent in my unit and I had it back in just over a week. It's a buy-it-now auction and he gives the details on how he handle the repair for different issues. I? found that he responded to e-mails? quickly and was very satisfied with the results. Do a?search for seller aav85 for the?details. I love my Zen Xtra and it was worth the expense to me to get it back in working order.

As Meg indicated, you will probably get what you have....probably refurbished.
No one here can definitively tell you what will happen at an Apple store.
