  • IPhone photo upload problem?

So before IOS5, whenever i wanted a photo from my computer, PC or Macbook, i would just copy and paste the photo from the folder on the computer to the iphone folder. Now with the new update, i need to sync the photos using iTunes. I had no problem with this. I put all the photos i wanted into one folder and then did the sync photos with that folder. I however did a mistake before and accidently uploaded some photos i didnt want and now they are on my phone in the new folders created. However, i cant delete those photos unless they part of the camera roll. How do i delete the photos i dont want that are now in the new folders created? Also is there an easier to take photos from the computer and put them on the iPhone? This new update is really making me want to switch to Android. Its a shame i have 6 months left on my contract.

It means, that an import into the iPhoto library did not finish.
If this message will pop up each time you want to ope iPhoto, (force) quit iPhoto and procede as described in this document :  http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3745
If the alert message reappears every time you open iPhoto and you are not able to import the photos in question, look in the root level of the iPhoto Library folder for a folder named "Recovered Photos" or a folder named Import. Quit iPhoto, move this folder to your desktop, and then try opening iPhoto again.
Important: Be careful not to remove any other folders or items from the iPhoto Library folder. Doing so could cause your iPhoto library to become unreadable.
To open the root level of the library folder, ctrl-click (or right-click) your iPhoto library and use the command "Show Package contents".

  • IPhone photos uploaded to iCloud photos on PC

iCloud is working for taking pics on iPhone and appearing on icloud on PC.  However, when I try to complete an Etsy form for a new listing a problem occurs.  When I click on the "photo" section of the Etsy form and then click on iCloud pics on PC pictures menu, nothing happens.  Icloud photos do not appear for me to select desired ones for Etsy photos.  However, iCloud pics are definitely on my Windows 7 PC.  Can anyone help?

An .ithmb file is the format used to store pictures on an iPod. There are several applications that can open .ithmb files such as File Juicer and Keith's iPod Photo Reader

  • Iphone photos upload twice to iMac, so I now have two of each one

Why have the photos on my phone uploaded twice to my iMac when I plugged it in? Also they have stopped coming in automatically over iCloud, why is this?
    Thanks

    Hi Ahmed,
    Welcome to the community!
If you have two subscriptions in one Adobe account:
Can I install the software in 3 or 4 computers (using 2 at any one time) now that I have two subscriptions?
Ans.  Adobe has moved to identity-based licensing with a technology that will not support multiple same-product subscriptions, so you can only buy one membership per Adobe ID.  If you need two subscriptions to Creative Cloud, you will need to purchase each subscription with a unique Adobe ID.
When you install your software, you will be required to enter the same Adobe ID that you used when purchasing your membership, for the following reasons:
To help ensure that the person who subscribed is the same person who is installing the software
To enable Adobe to send you important account information in the event your subscription is about to expire or cannot be charged to your credit card.
2.Can Adobe extend my first subscription to May 2015 and cancel my second subscription?
Ans.Your first subscription will be automatically renewed untill and unless you do not cancel. In order to cancel your second subscription you need to contact customer support. Please refer:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/download-install/supportinfo/
3.Can I transfer my second subscription to my colleage and still continue to pay using my Credit Card for this new subscription?
Ans. CC cannot be transferred to another user as it is associated with your Adobe ID.
4.Tell  me what can I do? I do not want to be paying for two subscriptions and use only one. After all, it was your system that validated that qualification.
Ans. I would recommend you to cancel one of the CC membership by contacting customer support on the link mentioned in answer2.
Please let us know if it helps,
    Thanks!

    I have a G5 which I intend to keep.
Now that I have updated my iphone 4s to iOS 7.0.
I cannot add music to my iphone or upload photos to iphoto.
I have the last itunes 10.6.3. which was supported by apple.
itunes will not interact with my iphone on any level.
Apple made all the equipment I use.
Bentley and Ferrari etc do not stop making parts for their cars?
    The least Apple could is.
    A. Update itunes to run on a G5
Regarding iOS 7.0 you have totally lost the plot.
    We buy apple why?
    Quality.
    Intuitive interface.
    Stable software.
    Design.
All that Steve Jobs consider sacrosanct.
Quality is about ongoing support longevity of product.
Its not about trying to sell to every person on the planet, others are way ahead of you.
So try respective the customers you have, it wont be long before theirs a better operating system and your lead in hardware is marginal.

My post on facebook this morning.
If you have an iPhone or iPad do not update to ISO 7 unless you want an operating system that looks like windows 8. The graphics looks like it was designed by a artistically challenged mongoose and the operating system is not intuitive something apple users expect. Overly complicated ugly and generally change for the sake of apples paranoia since the death of Steve Jobs.

You need to update iTunes to 11.1 on your PC

  • Uploading Iphone photos to Elements 12

When I installed Elements 12 awhile back, I noticed it started uploading my iphone photos automatically.  I don't recall making any setting adjustments to make that happen.  Now, I have a new iphone and Elements doesnt upload the iphone photos anymore.  What do I have to do to make that happen.  (I wasn't using revel).

    Hello,
You can try using an iPhone app like 'Photo Transfer App' to download your photos from your computer to your computer. You can transfer up to 50 pictures at one time using your computer's web browser over wifi so you don't have to use iTunes or any other software.
Here is a link to the app:

  • HT201302 how can i delete photos from my iphone after uploading in Iphoto even if i say not to keep on phone

how can i delete photos from my iphone after uploading in Iphoto even if i say not to keep on phone

    Hello paolo@spring,
Just as photos that were taken more than 30 days ago remain on your MacBook Air, so will photos that are deleted from your iPhone.
Photos in My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days.
Because your Mac and PC have more storage than your iOS devices, you can choose to download all of your My Photo Stream photos automatically.
In iPhoto or Aperture preferences on your Mac, select Photos (or Photo Stream) > My Photo Stream > Automatic Import. All of your photo stream photos will import into your Events, Projects, Photos, Faces, and Places folders in iPhoto or Aperture.

  • My iphone photos will not upload into iphoto?

When I try to upload my iphone photos into my iphoto it will load the photos but will not let me import the photos. I have tried several times and even let it sit over night, it seems to stay frozen and will not let me upload them. I need to create more space on my phone but it will not allow me to upload photos on iphoto? What can I do? Is there another program to upload my photos into?

Try Image Capture (in your Applications Folder)

  • HT204053 How do I have my  wife's iphone 4s upload pics to the same icloud used for my ipad and iphone?  Phone does not allow changing icloud ID once established.

How do I have my wife's iphone 4s upload pics to the same icloud I use for with my 4s and ipad?  Can seem to change her icloud ID to match mine.

I can tell you how to do this but first wanted to be sure that's what you want to do.  You would then be sharing the same iCloud account and any synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) would then be merged and the merge data would appear on her phone and your iPad (i.e., you'll end up with each other's contacts on your phone). You would also both be backing up your devices to the same account, sharing the 5GB of free storage (assuming you're both backing up to iCloud).
There's an alternative setup that would allow her to set up your iCloud account on her phone as her primary account and just turn on photo stream in that account (allowing your to share you photo stream), then set up a secondary iCloud account on her phone that would sync her Mail, Notes, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders.  She would still have to back up her phone to your account, as well as syncing Safari, Documents and Find My iPhone (all of which can only be done in the primary account).  Also, her mail would be fetch, not push as push email is only supported in the primary account.
I suppose a third option is to leave things as they are and share you photos with each other using shared photo streams.
Let me know what you want to do and I'll give you the steps.

  • How can I get the 928 photos in my IPhone Photo Library onto my Powerbook?

I'm new to IPhone but I've had a powerbook for forever. I just went to my niece's wedding in France and dropped and copied 928 photos onto my IPhone from her IMac. In Itunes, the horizontal bar at the bottom shows that that 598 MB are taken up with 928 photos and I would like to move these photos onto the external harddrive hooked up to my powerbook. The 928 photos do not show up in Itunes in the photos folder. The IPhone does not show up in IPhoto unless I take a photo with the IPhone camera. Is there no way I can move these files from the phone to my Mac? I have read in the discussion group that the IPhone is not a storage device but I didn't know that when I moved the photos onto it. I had just bought it.
Can you help me? Is there an app for that?
    merci buckets,
    Wendy

I did see that I can email the photos but I couldn't figure out how to select more than a couple at a time and there are 928 photos @ nearly 600 MB. So this isn't a workable solution though I have already usedit to email 1 or 2 from the bunch.
If I could figure out how to select like 100 at a time I could upload them to MobileMe and sync from there but I can't figure out how to select many at once from the IPhone photo app. Is there a way to do this?

  • Photo Uploading in Safari

Good day. When I attempt to upload photos to Facebook via Safari on my iPhone 6 running 8.0.2, I still receive the error message "Sorry, photo uploading isn't available for Safari in iOS 8 just yet. We've notified Apple and are working together to fix this. Please try again later." This is the same message I received in iOS 8, and I thought that iOS 8.0.2 was supposed to have fixed it. It didn't. Thoughts?

The problem seems to be fixed. Swanky.

  • Problem Editing/Deleting the Photos uploaded via iTunes

I uploaded some photos via iTunes to my iPad as well as my iPhone. I wanted to take advantage of the photo edito, the devices will not allow me to edit the original photo uploaded photo file. It is asking I do "Duplicate and edit" which will leave me with 2 photos of the picture (one edited and other original one) on the device! I can't delete the original photo from my iPad/iPhone using either devices. Only way I can get rid of it is by syncing it via iTunes. any suggestions?

That is how it works with photos placed on the phone via iTunes sync -- to remove them you sync again using the instructions in Sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in iTunes - Apple Support
Another option you may want to consider to move photos from a computer to an iPhone or iPad (if you don't want to use iCloud Photo Library) is a 3rd app such as http://www.photosync-app.com/

  • IPhone: photo jpg access

I'd just like someone to confirm for me that iPhone apps built using the SDK cannot have read access to the jpgs stored at /var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE (or in any other way access the original photo files created by the camera)
What happens if you attempt to read files at that path using NSFileManager?
If we can read files at that path then great.
If we don't have read access to those file then for photo upload we need to do the following:
    - use the image picker to get the UIImage of the selected image,
    - write to a new JPEG file using UIImageJPEGRepresentation
    - upload that new image file.
Unfortunately, don't we lose the EXIF info that was in the original JPEG file?
Is there any way to retain that info?
    Thanks!

Are you getting a 3G signal? What cell provider are you using?

  • Help with Photos upload

SO the claim (due to a new commercial) is that the iPhone will upload photos from the iPhone to blogs. I heard Facebook being one of them. How is this done?

While I have not done it, I saw the thread in here very recently (assume a search would find it), but I saw that it said facebook has the instructions. In general they have a way to sign up for it (or activate it on your account) and what it does is gives you and email address to send your pictures to, thus from the iPhone you email it to that address (as that is the way to send photos from the iPhone). .MAC account users have the option as a menu option to upload when viewing a picture.
