Iphone problem....hang

Hi...i come from Kota kinabalu...i buy iphone 4 at digi centre...but this iphone not very nice...when i play the game , app store or facebook ...this phone will auto black screen 5second after that will show apple logo hang...this will hang 15-30 minute...can somebody help me...how to fix this problem...why the i phone like this...

You might want to try the basic troubleshooting steps described in the User Guide, Appendix B: Restart, Reset, Restore

my son had this problem. I went to the apple store and they wiped out and restored the phone.. They said that was all they could do but that I should call our phone carrier and ask them. I did. They asked if in the top left side, next to battery power there was a icon of a half moon. There was. They said to go in to settings and go to "Do not Disturb" and turn it off. I did.....problem solved!!! Somehow "do not disturb" was turned on and that is what happens if it is!!

I assume you mean whatsapp.
First double click the home button and swipe the app closed.
If it still doesn't work try a reset. Press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait until your iPhone starts on it's own.
If whatsapp is still giving you problems try deleting and reinstalling the app.

Basic troubleshooting steps outline in the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Try each of these in order until the problem is resolved. If you've been through all these steps and the trouble persists, you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation. Be sure to make an appointment first at the Genius Bar so you won't have a long wait.

Outward emails on iPhone are hanging. Why?

My outward mail on my Iphone is hanging. yes, I get the "send" sound but the bar at the bottom of the screen shows the mail is not going. It is happening to all accounts on the iphone. Mail not going into "out box" either.
Obviously, I have checked the settings.
Any thoughts?

I guess I'll call apple. silly they don't have technicians to answer this issue after it being up here for a couple weeks already?

Apple's support is not rated very high by consumer reports and by every other agency that performs such customer service surveys by accident. Your iPhone is covered under warranty for one year including calling AppleCare at no additional charge the same as when visiting an Apple Store.
I've experienced no such issue accessing my .Mac account which is my primary email account and a business POP account with my iPhone since 6/29.
Are these problem messages newly composed messages or forwarded messages?

Go to itunes and restore your phone from backup, make sure you have a recent backup in itunes of your phone first.

since updating IOS to 5.01. my iphone gets hang up more frequently. even at the locked screen, i couldn't type my password to unlock it. seems no place on the screen works, i tried to type again and again. also when i view photos in camera rolls, i when i view it in landscape position, and want to view back to the portrait position i changed position of my phone but the photos didn't move back to portrait position no matter how i keep the phone vertical.
any one encounter with this problem?

okay,
so, i had a 3GS, backed that up. - thats the backup.
then, bought a new 4S. and wanted all my apps, camera roll, texts. and so, did a restore. (not sure if thats the term to use.)
Later, just using the phone, i did a 5.0.1 update (just updated thought the phone, the delta update)
Thats where I am now. From what i've read. next things to try are:
1. Just "Reset all settings" on the phone. This sounds quick and easy, and I don;t think i'd loose much?
2. Restore from backup. - thats where i wondered about 5.0.1 - as itunes never downloaded that, but from what you say i think.. iTunes will download that for me, so I should not worry, and just do the usual backup/restore.
Then, i think its time to show the phone to a genius in an Apple store, and just show them how it randomly locks up for several seconds..
Just wanted to make sure i'd done all the usual stuff before seeing the genius, incase they just say, to go home and try the restore.. etc.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Did iTunes ever create a successful backup during a sync? If yes it should be listed there.
Alternativly you can make sure that the iphone backup folder is empty and try again to sync. The folder is located here:
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

Hello Friends,
My Iphone 3g Hangs and stucks at activation Screen on update to OS 3.0.
I updated the phone to OS 3.0 last night and to my surpsrise after the OS Completely installs and restarts the phone,the phone then hangs and all i can see is a black screen when the phone is connected to PC.
As soon as i disconnect, it shows the Itunes-PC Connect image asking for activation.
Again if a connect back,it hangs and keeps on restarting ..over and over again.
i tried everything:
1) Re-Install Itunes 8.2
2) Re start OS
3) CHnage USB Cable
4) Change PC
5) Keep the phone connected for around 4 hours expecting some miracle to happen still no use.
** If i try to donwgrade back to 2.2.1 then it givess error to and not able to downgrade.
Now i have put myself in a situation wherein i had to switch to other phone.
The phone is just getting rust as there is no Support/Care center in India.
Please someone help me out.

Is any hardware part involved in activation of phone?

Close iTunes and unplug iphone
Search web and download the 2.2.1 ipsw file.
Go to device manager on PC and delete the USB option for Apple under the hardware options.
Reboot PC
Plug in iphone and wait for dreaded connection picture
hold power button and home button until apple logo appears
continue to hold home button and release power button until connection picture appears again
Your PC should now find the iphone in recovery mode
Now open iTunes and it will prompt you to restore
Hold the shift button on the keyboard and click the restore button at the same time
This will allow you to browse for the correct ipsw file
select the 2.2.1 file that you downloaded
your iphone will now restore
Once completed, you will need to resync
Now you are back to square one but at least have a phone that works
Now make an appt at the Genius Bar and make them update it for you
Mine is scheduled for next week
