IPhone proof of purchase or proof of registration/activation
My phone company has reset my iPhone plan and I need a proof of purchase or registration/activation to prove to them that I did not purchase my iPhone to the new date they reset my iPhone to.
Is there anywhere on the Apple site or instore that they can prove when I bought or activated my iPhone? (Since you need to activate it via iTunes before you can use it)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have the receipt, but I just can't find it at the moment. And my two year plan is almost up. And my phone company were too lazy and insisted that they didn't stuff up on my plan, etc. They're just trying to make extra money

Sell the devices you currently have to someone that can use them with the carrier they are locked to. Put those funds towards the purchase of a device that you can utilize with the carrier of your choice.

I have three iPhone 4 models purchased in late 2010 (for my family) that all share the same iTunes account for access to apps and music, but each phone/user still has his/her custom contact list, email accts, and select lists of apps and music from the one iTunes acct library. The problem is I can only update the software on one of the three iPhones – the primary phone I used to setup the iTunes acct. What is the best solution to manage these devices for software updates, apps? This is probably a common problem with families wanting to share apps and music without realizing the issues created by this approach. As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. Since this AT&T advice was prior to iCloud coming out, would iCloud be a better solution or at least part of the solution? I really don't yet understand how iCloud works. Hopefully, someone out there can help me?? Please?

You can tell if the phone is unlocked if you put a new sim card in the phone and it works - if you put a new sim card in the phone and it comes up with 'sim card invalid', then the phone is locked and you'll need to get it unlocked. -

A malfunctioning sleep/wake button is the prelude to catastrophic device failure and loss of data.
Very shortly, the user will need to reset and/or restore but will find that these actions are impossible without a working sleep/wake button. Get the iPhone serviced or replaced ASAP.

To which fix do you refer? Activatng QT 7 Pro or converting the files? Even with QT 7 Pro activated you may need to modify your QT codec component configuration depending on the file type and compression formats used to encode your "old movies." There may be many different problems here with each having one or more "fixes." Please try to be more specific regarding your questions. Converting a muxed VOB MPEG2/AC3 file would be very different different from converting an AVI DivX5/MP3 file depending on which application you are attempting to use. -
I bought an iPhone 4 from a lady who failed to mention she could not do a hard reset because she didn't know the pass code. So now I need to delete this lady's information from my iPhone but I have already entered the wrong pass code 9 times. Any way I can bypass this pass code thing? Critical note: the seller set up Find My iPhone (iPad/iPod), however, then it has the Activation Lock on it and you'll need her to erase the iPhone through her iCloud account and then remove it from her account:

i recenly purchased a new iphone,and had my information transfored from from the old iphone onto the new one. i have either lost,misplaced,or someone else has taken the iphone. the old phone was momentarily out of service, however i had activated the "find my phone" in the settings. i figure the battry has already ran down so if it were in the house i would still be unable to locate the phone.when logging into icloud to try and locate the phone all i can find is the new iphone i recently purchased. does anyone have a few suggestions i might try to locate this phone ,or am i S.O.L. ??????
If the battery is dead the only way to find it is to physically look for it.
