IPhone won't sync with apps

Hey all! I've got an older generation iPhone, and I want to sync some of my new apps, namely Pocketpedia and Stanza. The trouble is, both directions state that I have to use a "sync" button that should appear, but it does not.
My iPhone is currently connected via the doc and pluged in directly to the Mac. Please don't tell me the sync operation can only be wi-fi, because a) I don't have a wi-fi connection at home, and b) that would just be silly.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Mayhaps I should've been a bit more clear on my problem. My bad.
It's not Syncing the iPhone that's the problem. I get the sync button and what-not. The trouble is, many of my apps (namely Stanza and Pocketpedia) do not sync via this method.
When I said "the directions stated a sync button should appear" I meant within the Stanza and Pocketpedia applications. iTunes sync works fine - it's just other apps that don't seem to sync with it that is my problem.
So, anybody else run into this?

Quick sound question on K7N2 Delta-ILSR

Ok, I've set a new high score in AM3 for my system...Sooo close to 45k...Anyway, I need to lower my temps to get anymore out of it...I was just wondering if I would see any kind of improvement using a SB Live 5.1 over the on-board audio??...I'm using on-board sound right now and rather than going through the process of testing it out(it's been a long week and I'm feeling lazy, so sue me...), I was hoping you guys would know for sure which is better for benching, gaming or overall performance, SB Live 5.1, or the on-board Nvidia sound?? AC-3? Now I'm confused...I get sound out of the speaker when running the wizard, I just tried an audio CD and I got no sound at all out of the center...The same with the games, which I know was working before with SB Live...I don't think it's the game...I believe I am not doing something correctly, but what?...Last week I installed the not so new anymore 4.24 drivers, but can't even remember now if it worked with the origional drivers(I drink sometimes)...Thanks for the speedy replies Richard!! If you can think of anything I may have overlooked please let me know...

I had to get a new computer and when I plug in my iPhones it does not have all the apps I bought. I get the error: are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library.

How do I get an old library onto a new computer. When I plug in phone all my apps do not show up.

You need to copy the iTunes liubrary from your Old computer, or its Backup, to your New computer...

From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Sound problems with apps after updating to IOS 5.1 with Ipad 2

Hi there,
I am having a sound problem since the update to ios 5.1. I have an Ipad 2 and all my games don't play sound anymore. I tried to redownload the games as well as restarting the Ipad, but nothing worked for me. Does anyone of you have the same problem?

Try backing up and doing a full restore and see if that helps.

Major sound bug with 2.1 and some apps on 2.1 tested on iphone 3g and touch

I have noticed that when playing Toy Bots on 2.1 both iphone 3g and touch there is horrible screaching in some sounds. When you use the lightning bolt to swing the sound is terrible and will kill your ears even at a low volume. I also discovered asphault has the same problem when you are racing and go off the road etc. Didnt happen before 2.1

I am also having the same problem. Seems that all the sounds associated with user-initiated actions are insanely loud and overdriven, whereas the music in the background is at normal volume. Same things apply to the free app Cube Runner, and this is def. a result of the upgrade to 2.1. I have tried restarting the phone, the computer, etc, even removing and reinstalling Cube Runner to no avail. At least I know I'm not the only one having this issue, but aside from the fact that it had my 6 yaer-old bawling his eyes out, it's a real drag!

Music and sounds with apps won't work when I have the ringer button turned off on my iPhone 6.

If I have the ringer shut off using the button on the top left of the iPhone, no sounds or music play for any of my apps. I can still play music and can hear sounds over youtube, but don't get any sounds from any other apps, both apple and 3rd party.

I have exact same issue. One thing that kind of made it work was to Go to settings, Cellular, LTE and select data only instead of data+voice and restart the phone. I don't want to accept that as a solution. I have a case open with network tech support to troubleshoot, but it can take 3 business days for them to look into it.
It's not a hardware problem (at least for me). I got my phone at Best Buy. I lucked out and they had one more left in stock so they replaced it. I have same issue with replacement phone. Issue seems to be with network/line on AT&T end. It seems that it can make a handshake to acknowledge incoming call, but fails to complete the connection.

You may have debris in your headphone jack blocking the sensor. Try blowing hard on the jack, and inserting/removing your headphones quickly multiple times to clear it.

composite don't support mirror so it will only display on the tv when the app being used support tvout option
the build in video app does so it should display on the tv at least my composite cable does with my iphone4

Oh and Meg offered the right answer. Put your Apps in Folders, which will create extra space for the apps which have disappeared.

Roxio Media Manager - Edit with Quick Sound Editor

A gentleman at work purchased a pearl 8130 last week after he lost his other phone. After loading BlackBerry Desktop Manager, CD that came with the phone, then going to Media Manager. He noticed that Quick Sound Editor was grayed out if he right click on a music file. When purchased mine it came with QSE. Why doesn't he have it? Could it be the provider he has? I have Alltel and I think he has Verizon.

Sound problems with iPhone 6 plus

I have sound problem with my iPhone 6 plus.
Some apps have sound, others no.
For exemple the app minipiano has no sound (it works fine on my ipad mini)
