Iphone;recents;all and missed calls

ok, so around one month after i bought the phone.. which was in november.. my recents screen has been empty. everytime i have a missed call or i make a call so i answer a call, my phone doesnt seem to save the calls.. i only get saved voicemail..
when my phone is on standby and i have a missed call.. i can only notice ONCE. right before i slide it to turn it on..
any ideas on how to get this fixed!!!!??

Try a reboot
(hold both buttons (home and lock) till you see the Apple logo...do not let go of either even when it says slide to turn off)
See if that fixes it.
If not, try a restore.
If still a problem...time to call Apple 1-800-MY-IPHONE

In iOS 7.0.2 All and Missed tabs are not showing call history correctly

In iOS 7.0.2 All and Missed tabs are not showing call history correctly, I have iPhone 4 running iOS 7.0.2 version it looks like there is a bug. Missed call history and All calls (incoming, outgoing and missed) history is not showing properly in a list. Ideally when I click on missed it should show me recent missed call list and when I click on All it should show me (incoming, outgoing and missed) calls list sorted by current date and time.
I would like to request Apple developer team to look into this and fix this bug asap. Thanks in advance.

No recent and missed calls listed after iOS 7 upgrade

Upgraded iphone 5 to iOS 7, after a couple of days of use the Recent and Missed calls list is still blank. I routinely use this identify and return missed calls (access from the phone screen). How do I get this list back?

There are hundreds or people wih this exact same problem and apple has no interest in fixing it or publicly giving and answer to the issues.
They Botched this release big time. I look forward to having tp wipe my 64gb iPad and start from scratch. Oh boy do I!!

Deleting all or missed calls

Is there a way or setting to delete one without deleteing the other? I have gone to RECENTS hit ALL and hit clear and it also clears all MISSED calls and vice versa. This is very frustrating. If anyone knows of a solution this would be great.

Unfortunately there is no way of deleting a single call from the all or missed call list.
And by the way, this is not a delete, this is a clear and those calls are no longer retrievable.
I suggest that you make an entry of your request into the feedback site provided by Apple.

Is there a setting or an app that shows e-mail notifications without having to unlock the screen...like SMS and missed calls?

Is there a setting or an app for the iPhone 4 that allows you to see that you have new mail messages from the "lock screen" like SMS and missed call messages? My primary e-mail account is MS Exchange and I'm running iOS 5. Thanks!

unfortunately, that does not address my question. your link describes how to clear the missed section of center. I know how to clear the missed section of notification center, as I said in the original question. I will re-peat my question to clarify. it is:

the behavior I would expect would be that when i click the circle on the "today" view. it would clear it out from the missed and all view so i would not have to clear in 2 areas.

Hello Apple forums so can you test this for me.
1.turn wifi off and connect via edge
2.go to youtube play a movie
3. why movie is playing phone your iphone.
does the video stop and you get a pop up to answer the call. now if the answer is no and it goes to voice mail but you do not leave a message and hang up do you get a missed call,
Same with safari. and mail
So we pay for the unlimited data plan but cannot use it otherwise we miss all our calls same thing happens with mail, so if you have your mail to check every 15mins you will not be able to get any calls for a quarter of the day.
other phones will stop the connection give you an option to answer the phone then resume your download safari/youtube/ mail.
please post your answers.

Everyone having this issue should call 1-800-MY iPhon. Ask to speak to Tier II support, the person you get may try to help, and may need to give you a case number. You'll probably have to wait a while on hold.
I just spent an hour on the phone with Tier I & II. The tier I guy started by saying that when you use EDGE it will always go to voicemail. I told him, I was on a user forum & some people said they don't have the issue. He then tested it on his phone & experienced the direct to v-mail issue. We talked about how this was a real problem & how both of our nokia phones didn't have this issue (he actually had the E-61 also). He gave me a case number & transferred my to tier II. The tier II guy told me that this was a software issue. That a pop-up needs to be designed into the software to allow the user the option to disconnect the data connection & accept the voice call, or not. I told him that I'd read on a user forum that some users get voice calls while using EDGE. He said that if they are using you tube the call will automatically interrupt & switch out of you tube. We then tested this on my iPhone & it worked (i.e. the call interupted you tube). He said the software currently decides to disconnect data or send calls to voice mail during EDGE transmissions based on what the user is doing. Phone calls take priority over you tube & widgets (stock & weather)but safari and e-mail take priority over phone calls. He said the thought was, it would be more annoying to users to be in the middle of sending an e-mail and having mail disconnected for a phone call, than having the call go to voicemail. The ideal solution is to have a choice (like other phones allow) but right now the iPhone software does not have a pop-up designed allowing the user to accept the call or keep the data connection. (He seemed to be familiar with this on other phones while being tethered to a macbook to use their data connections & getting voice calls during downloads).
He said he was submitting this to the engineering group & said the more people that call tier II about this & submit it as an issue via online feedback, the higher priority it will get to be addressed in the first software update. So if you want to see this fixed start calling and submitting the issue http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html in as much detail as possible (specifically say that other existing phones Nokia S60s etc. have this function).

After restart or power off and on. total recent apps and data(call,sms history) loosing.

i am using BlackBerry Z10 with 10.3.1. OS. 2-3 times i was tried. when ever i restart my Mobile, i am loosing recent apps and data like call and sms history.
eg. today is 25th Apr 2015. today i was restarted my mobile. after restart data and apps are available which ever i was installed before 3rd Apr 2015.
after 3rd Apr 2015, no call or sms history and apps are not there in my mobile.

To help me better understand I was wondering if each of you can complete the following?
Go to KB36747 and download BlackBerryFix.zip
Run the tool and confirm that it says ‘The fix is not applicable to this device’
Assuming the tool states the fix was not applied, please complete the following test:
Make and receive 2 or 3 phone calls
Press the Power/Lock key followed by tapping Restart
When the device restarts do you see a blue LED?
After the device restarts, check the Hub and Phone app to identify if the calls made and received during step 1 still appear. Should this calls be missing, please capture logs using the steps below.
Open the Help app
Swipe down from the top of the screen, tap Create Report
Tap Save Log Snapshot
If prompted to upload logs, tap No
After completing these steps, using File Manager on your device go to Documents folder by Logs.
Tap and hold the log file (i.e. bbswltLog-<date>.zip) followed by tapping Share and send it via email to supportforums{at}blackberry.com.
If I can ask, what other type of data disappears? If you create a document using Docs to Go and save it to your device memory, does restarting your device result in document being removed from your device?

Jabber and Missed Call history

I am looking for and explanation or a document around expected behavior for how the Call Log works within the Jabber for Windows client. Our customers setup has Jabber for windows deployed in Deskphone Control mode, where the Jabber clients control a single physical phone. Predominantly a 7945 series phone. How in Sync is the "CALL HISTORY" (missed call, placed call, received call) lists within the Jabber client with the physical phone itself. Examples:
If we miss a call on the physical phone and Jabber is opened, we noticed that both the physical phone and Jabber client report a missing call.
If we miss a call and Jabber is closed, we notice the physical phone reports a missed call, but when Jabber sign's in the "MISSED Call" is not reported on the Jabber client.
Is this expected behavior?
if anyone can provide context or has a document that explains the expected behavior this would be very helpful to me.

Just for clarity, I'm not talking about a CSF registered phone, I'm talking about Jabber running in Deskphone Control mode. So yes in a hopeful way I would expect the call history from the physical phones to be in sync since deskphone control is just remotely controlling the phone. I suppose the call history on a physical phone is likely stored locally on the phone itself and this is why they call logs do not remain in sync but i just wanted to confirm that this is a fact vs an assumption.

Its worth a shot but try going into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn on "Reduce Motion" I think that might help...

Iphone 4s disconnecting and then calling someone else

I have read the posts about iphones calling random numbers while sitting untouched, but mine is doing something more bazaar.
While i am on the phone with someone, my iphone 4s will disconnect that call and then call a random person from my contacts. Is there a way to stop this from happening? i have upgraded the phone to iOS7, but it did this before the upgrade too.
