IPhone registration...

I was wondering how to get back to the iPhone registration screen... I don't suppose it's very important, however, I would like to know if you can get back... For some reason it's annoying me that I can't find how to get back! I am talking about the first screen you see on iTunes when you connect it to iTunes for the first time and it says something like, 'Set Up your iPhone' and it lets you name it and register it to your Apple Account. I know how to rename my iPhone, but I want to register it to my Apple Account. Any ideas? Thanks!

Iphone Registration Problem (what can I do now?)

Hello everyone,
I just recently bought my new Iphone, and well I immediately wanted to registrate it to be able to download aps and stuff:
When i was about to registrate the iphone, i needed to create a new online click&buy account for the paying thing. Therefore i had to cancel the iphone registration.
Now i completet my click&buy account, so i went back to itunes to continue with the iphone registration, but i cant find any button or something that tells me how to open the registration window...
what can i do now?

"phone registration ID" - do you mean iTunes Store account ID? If so:
Settings > Store > tap ID > Sign Out > Sign In with correct ID and billing info.

All the numbers are on the outside of the box. Usually they are looking for the serial number. All the phone particulars can also be found under Settings, General, About.

Proof of iPhone registration

Is it not possible to log in to my account and print off a proof of product registration? My iphone has died due to being drowned in chocolate milk. My insurance company are asking for the receipt, which I don't have, so I'm trying to get some kind of proof of ownership from apple but can't seem to find a "your products" page like there is on other software developers websites.....

IPhone registration on sybase control center

I have developed a sample flight list application on SUP.
I have imported generated code from sup in x-code .i have imported the required client API'S as mentioned in the sybase infocenter website .
I am unable to register my device on SCC .
I have updated the settings in both SCC and iPhone simulator as well , still unable to register .
Any kind of help would be appreciated .

It was a server issue in my case .

Cannot get past iPhone registration page when new iPhone 4 is plugged in for Contacts, Music, etc. sync

I just bought an iPhone 4 today and on my first attempt to sync my contacts, music, apps, etc.. it took me to the "Welcome to your new iPhone: Let's get started/ Regestration" page like usual. I selected "register later" and then I am taken to a blank white page the says "iPhone" in the middle in the itunes window. I tried:
ejecting, then plugging in again
selecting register now, and never register
Restarting both computer and phone
Turning off iTunes Helper in Activity Monitor
Turning off iCloud
I am running iTunes 10 nad my iPhone is still on 4.3.3
A couple of days ago I downloaded iOS 5 for my iPhone 3G and the sync prosses was working fine. Now I can't sync up my new iPhone 4, but the phone is still functional. Help!

If you have any podcasts in your iTunes library you should see a Podcasts sync setting tab to the right when you connect your phone and click on its name on the left sidebar (see image below). On this tab check to sync podcasts and sync your phone.

Bought iphone/registration/previous owners permission?

I recently made the jump to an iphone 5s after buying one from a friend of a friend.
The phone itself is brand new, never even been switched on and I have a new SIM arriving any day now.
My question is - is there anything the previous owner has to do to enable me to use this phone as my own or as it is a brand new piece of hardware/software that has no user settings in it - is it a blank canvas?
I'm thinking in terms of itunes setup & use, obtaining Network Unlocking Codes (not an immediate concern as I'll be using the same network as he is - but for future reference), anything else I haven't thought of?
If there is anything he needs to do I'd rather know now than having to contact him in 6 months or a year's time?

The phone is still sealed in the box so I know he hasn't set it up. I just wanted to see if it is impacted remotely or does the initial setup that I do determine all of the settings?
As far as apple is concerned will the phone still be his or will the fact that I conduct the setup mean they'll see it as mine.

Register iPhone on UK based iTunes Account

I've browsed the forums - and noticed a number of posts related to UK iPhone registrations. Common conclusion seems to be for UK users to wait until iPhone release later this year. But - practicality or roaming cost aside - I couldn't find any technical confirmation on the following:
1. I'm using a UK based iTunes / Apple ID Account
2. The UK iTunes account is registered with UK based credit / address info
Can I purchase an iPhone and activate it with AT&T using the above described setup? I've got a US business address - so there is a physical presence in the US if required for paper work. But all fincance / credit is done via the UK.
Will this work technically? Can anyone confirm / or has anyone done this?

Jim is 100 percent correct. If at least 40 percent of your calls and phone usage are not done on ATT's network, they will cancel the account. See the posts called things like "ATT took away my iPhone" that are rampant on this site and the Cingular/ATT site.
Right now, only USA customers with USA service to ATT are allowed to use the iPhone. Even some USA residents can use the phone if they don't have access to ATT signals (about 15 percent of the US right now).
If you are in the USA as a non-USA resident, they will determine (in person at ATT, not online) your credit risk and will offer you a phone with a substantial downpayment (about 1000.00) -- but you will STILL be reminded you need to use your phone at least 40 percent of the time on the ATT network - not just a USA roaming network, but an ATT-connection to an ATT tower. If not, your account will be cancelled.
In general, you would have to live in the USA 6 months each year to get a contract to begin with, and then pay international roaming rates while you are back in your own country (exorbitant).

No Messages to non-iPhone users?

I was told or had heard that Yosemite's Messages application could send at least simple SMS texts to phones other than iPhones; however, on my system via Messages, I can neither send nor receive anything from a phone other than an iPhone but anything I want to do with another iPhone user works fine. I was told that if the person's name or number appeared in red (in Messages), that person should at least receive simple SMS from me, but what I see is an error "[phone_number] is not registered with iMessage." That error appears to me that it is indeed a strictly iPhone application.
For years I had an iPhone but lost it and now I use an old Motorola RAZR and have removed my iPhone registration from https://supportprofile.apple.com/. Also the phone by itself works fine either way. I'll get another iPhone when I can buy one cash (without two-year contract), but for now, was I incorrect? Is Messages really an iPhone-only application?

A BIG ISSUE with refund and/or store credit.....

A lot of people bought 2 iPhones. 1 for me and 1 for ____________ (friend, wife, husband, etc.)
Scenario #1:
Girlfriend stands in line and buys 1 for her and boyfriend using her credit card (boyfriend gave her cash). GF and BF have a bad split and are not talking. Apple gives a $200 voucher per iPhone to credit card purchaser. GF keeps it all for herself and BF has no way to get his $200 (unless GF is honorable).
Scenario #2:
Girlfriend buys 1 for her and 1 for Boyfriend using her credit card. His is for an early Birthday present. GF and BF have a bad split and are not talking. Apple decides to give a $200 to those people that have activated the iPhone and will use their iPhone registration as information where to send the $200. So BF and GF both get $200, even though it should all go to the GF. GF has no way to get her $200 (unless BF is honorable).
(Substitute BF and GF with whomever you wish)
So the point is, how is Apple to know who did and didn't pay for the iPhone?? I bought my own, but I know a lot of people that bought for others. Will everyone be honorable about a refund/voucher??
Apple did give early Aperture buyers an Apple in store credit, but most of those people bought 1 copy and only for themselves. The iPhone was a totally different buying process.

There is always an issue if you use cash. Refunding money to credit card purchasers is simple. As for cash purchasers, the cash should be refunded to the person who has the receipt in their hand. That's the only way it can possibly work. Sure, some people will lose out, but I would bet that the vast majority of purchasers did not pay with cash.

UK Activation problems (can't verify bank details)

Got my iPhone at 7:30 - but haven't been able to activate it.
Everytime I try to activate I get the "Your bank information could not be validated".
Obviously am enterting all correct information.
O2 support is apalling. Called 5 times - got 5 different answers. Ranging from 'are you sure you're entering the correct details' to 'wait a few hours'.....
Anyone else had this problem?

Yup, count me in, also have an account at Citibank... no activation for the same reasons: Could not verify your account details...
So, I phoned up O2 and they took all my details... now I just need to be patient.
Of course I had to try again after 2 hours only to find out that the user name registration had already gone through!!! My user name was taken! Of course I could log onto O2 with the user name and password I provided during the failed iPhone registration... great, so for every time I try to do the registration I have to come up with a new user name because there is no 'rollback' within the iPhone activation process when things go wrong... I am a software developer and I think they should have spent a little more thought on this... how about adding the 'I already have an O2 user name feature'!

Or perhaps you need to do this...
Goto
Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID
