IPhone replies not showing reply icon in Mail

When the iPhone first came out I could reply to a message on my phone and I would get the replied icon in both Apple Mail and Outlook. This no longer happens. Can anyone tell me why? I am using Exchange 2003 on the back end.

Some messages I receive such a Apple News do not have a reply option.
If I had the problem I would first click on a message that I know I should be able to reply to and if it did not offer an option to reply I would control click on the toolbar and choose customize.
When the customize window drops down I would try to drag the reply button off the bar.
I would then see if I could restart the Mail program and see if the new toolbar is now missing the button and I would then control click and drag the option into the toolbar again and see if it now works.
I would then send myself a message, since I know I should be able to reply to that message.
If I can then I know it is some setting within the email.
If it does not I would check in another user account to see if it is something in my user or system wide.
I would check with the self addressed message in the new user.
If it is system wide then you need to do an archive and install and software update.

I have an iPhone 4, 5 & 6 and when successfully connected to the controller all does have the wireless icon on the top left. I don't think they are connected to the wireless... Might be associated, but not authenticated. Look at the client on the controller and see if they are in the policy state: RUN If they are not in the RUN state, then they are not connected.

My iPhone is not showing the wifi symbol at the top of the screen, but the 3G symbol. Settings shows that there is a connection to my wifi router. In fact, my iPad is showing a wifi connection. My iPhone is less than a meter from my router. Help please.

Try turning wifi off and back on.
Try an iPhone reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Try resetting your network settings.
Try power cycling your router.

Show Reply icon in message list stopped working

About a week ago I noticed that the curvy show reply icon in my Mail message list stopped working. This feature has worked flawlessly with my set-up since it was introduced and suddenly it's dead on all messages going way back.
I use IMAP but this has not caused problems in the past.
I tried rebuilding some of the mailboxes but it did not help. I also replied to new messages and it did not work for them either. So it's dead. Anyone got any idea how to get it working again?

Well, I repaired permissions and rebooted this morning and now all the Reply icons are working again.
If you encounter this problem, give it a try.

Outlook 2013 not showing attachment icon even tho there is one.

This quite a weird bug. Outlook 2013 is not showing any icons regarding attachments however there is an attachment!
Why is this happening? Any idea?

This might has something to do with your current view setting to your folders. Please check if
Attachment has been added into "Show these columns in this folder" list in
Show Columns dialog:
Select the mail folder
Go to View tab on the ribbon
Go to View Settings>Columns...
Select Attachment from Available columns: list, then click
Add-> button.

SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. All content bought/downloaded from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it and it can't be transferred to a different account - so you will need to authorise your old account on that computer if you want to transfer its purchases over.

My iPhone is not showing up in iTunes, or Windows Explorer.

I have looked around searching and tried to uninstall everything that had anything to do with Apple and iTunes. Nothing worked. I also have gone into the computer managment and stopping and starting the apple managment and iPod service. Still, nothing worked. My iPhone will not show up in iTunes, nor Windows Explorer, when I plug it in I can hear the sound that when a device gets plugged into the computer.

It sounds like you have a bad USB driver for the phone. That software is installed with iTunes. Like I said earlier, you need to make sure to uninstall everything using that support document. That clears out all Apple software. Do that without the phone attached to the computer of course. Once you have reinstalled everything, then try and connect it. It should load the USB driver and begin to work.
Let me ask you this. How many pictures do you have in the camera roll? If you have a large number of them and you have not imported them to the computer, there could be a corrupt picture causing you some problems. While that was known in the past to cause syncing problems, I thought that was fixed. If after you uninstalled iTunes the phone was recognized as a camera, I suggest importing the pictures and then deleting them from the camera roll and try the process all over with uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. See if that helps.

Just updated iPhone 5 to ios7. Now when I plug in, iTunes does not download photos, and iPhone is not showing as a hard drive on my computer. Windows used to have a pop up to download photos, which is no longer there. iTunes is updated and iCloud isoff

I also recently installed Norton 360, but that was eliminated via Norton Help. They remoted in, removed Norton 360 and problem persisted - iPhone did not show on the "Computer" window, and no pop-up to download photos even with no antivirus installed. Norton help advised to uninstall and reinstall iTunes, which seemed a bit excessive. Any other fixes I can try before an uninstall and reinstall?

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.
