Iphone's itunes says it needs a wifi connection, but its connected.
I have all the latest updates on my iphone. My iphone does not seem to be able to use my home network, despite the fact that it says it is connected... itunes says i needs a connection while wifi settings says it has one. any ideas?

What IP address shows up on the iPhone? Goto Settings>Wi-Fi> the blue (>)
Also, try making the iPhone forget the network if have not already done so.
If the issue persists goto Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings and attempt to connect again.

Thanks for your reply, but you might have misunderstood it a bit. I'm NOT trying to buy a movie. ****, I'm not even in the actual Apple Store, when this happens I'm in the library not the Store part of iTunes.
To clarify - I have purchased a physical copy of a movie which came with another physical copy which contains the digital copy. The digital copy is on the DVD, all I need is just to transfer this file to my iPod Touch, for example, I'm not trying to download it from the store or repurchase it and it's not any gift code that I've received, the digital copy is on the disc. This is the first time ever that I've purchased something on a disc and I'm not allowed to access it because the disc hasn't been purchased within my country.
So again - I'm not attempting any purchase or download any purchased digital copy - it's on a DVD I own physically so... why is even the region of my Store relevant, the code I enter is (as I assume) just supposed to check if it's a legal genuine copy (which it is, as I've said - there are 6 discs in the pack: 3 movies on 3 Blu-rays and 3 DVD containing these digital copies of them). If I own it, I think that's proof enough that I have the right to use it. I just don't get it. I fully agree with you and understand your point if there was any purchase going on here, but it's not, it's just - I put a disc into my computer and I can't access it -

Try rebooting the router. Just remove the power for a few seconds. No settings are lost.

My new iphone 4 keeps saying it needs to be restored, but won't restore.
My new today iphone 4 keeps saying that I need to restore it, but everytime I do it says at the end of the restore an error occured and the restore failed, and I can't use the phone until it's been restored....any help?!
Try disabling your antivirus and firewall software. It can interfere with the restore/update process.

ITunes says I need version 7.4 but all I can find to download is 7.5
I am running Windows 2000 with iTunes version 6. When I downloaded the latest version it will not install because I need XP or Vista. When I connect my iPod, it will not connect to iTunes because it says I need a later version. I have an iPod that I cannot use.
It's your choice, but no one in the computer industry is going to continue to support all of their software for an eternity. Microsoft has discontinued support for ME & I'm almost sure for 2000, so you might want to check the system requirements for a Zune prior to purchase.
You might want to take a look at the following link under system requirements for a Zune. It states that you must have XP or Vista, so a Zune will not operate under 2000.

On 2 occasions my iphone has come up with the message that it needs to be restored to factory settings, but on trying to do this, itunes displays the message that it is unable to restore phone due to unknown error. Any tips?
Unless you have a jailbroken phone that has altered the baseband, that usually a hardware failure, in which case you'll have to take it to the Apple store for evaluation.

You do not need wifi to erase the content of your phone. Go into Settings>iCloud>Find My iPhone>OFF.

iTunes version 10.7 requires at least Mac OS X version 10.6.8 if you're running a Mac, or Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later if you're running Windows.

I am so sorry I am frustrating you. This is the first time I have used this community and am leanring as I go. I am not able to see the entire post that you leave, unless I look at it on my phone (email)--I am so sorry. You have no idea how much i appreciate your help. Yes, I see that I can get the later version of OS software, but its not availabe for immediate download. My only options appear to be having it shipped, or going to the store to purchase. And if you know of another way that I can access all of my itunes library music on my new phone withouth using itunes, I would love to hear about it.--thanks and again i am so sorry for frustrating you.

My iTunes won't let me connect my iPhone because it says I need an updated iTunes, but when I try to download the new iTunes, it says that my Mac software (10.5.8) is too old. However, there are no software updates available. What can I do?
It depends on what iPhone you have.
If it's an iPhone 4S or earlier, click here.
If it's an iPhone 5, you need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, and that requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB RAM.

My iPhone 5S says it's disabled and to connect to iTunes, iTunes says it needs 4 digit pass code. I tried to restore it but device wasn't recognised. Any ideas? I only got it yesterday.
How did the passcode get on the phone to begin with, if you "only got it yesterday"? Regardless, to remove it, you'll have to force the phone into recovery mode, as described here, & restore it:
