IPhone Safari message Pop Ups

I'm tying to watch a video on my phone using safari. The video is working and everything but as I'm watching a message from safari keeps popping up saying "Cannot open page. Safari cannot open this page because the address is invalid". I push ok but right after the message pops up again and sometimes it takes me to the App Store. I just want to know if there something I can do to make the messages stop popping up.

That's a problem with the website you're visiting, not with Safari.   Most likely...

  • Running an asynchronous LabView vi with Teststand makes the message pop-ups close automatically

I am calling a LabView vi asynchronously very early on in my test. Throughout the test I use "set" and "get" type vi's to retrieve and feed information to this vi but when I try to perform error checking and call a message pop-up, the pop-up closes right away as if the the first button is automatically being pushed. This behaviour exists only while the Asynch vi is up and running, the pop-ups operate correctly when the vi is not present. By correctly I mean they wait for user input...anyone have a clue why this is happening?

    Hi,
What labview and teststand versions are you using, and is it possible to post and example.

  • Safari-proof pop-ups!

I just found, for the first time,
    a site where Safari's << no pop-ups >>
    seems not to work...
    http://www.garyb.0catch.com/
    ...and thought I'd share.

Those popups are created using javascript rather than html which is why Safari's (or other) blocker does not block them. This is how web designers get around popup blockers. The only way to stop these windows is to disable javascript in Safari's preferences.

  • How do I stop all of the Safari spam pop-ups?

Since I downloaded OS Yosemite, my Safari is constantly getting pop-up tabs with spam.  It is very bad and Apple was not supposed to be susceptible to such virus issues.  Someone please advise if you have the same happening and how to stop it.  Can you re-download a new fresh version of Safari to stop it?

They can’t stop you from installing Adware. After following Ralph’s advice, have a read here: How to install adware

  • Mail always creates To-Dos in IMAP folder.. message pop-ups annoying.

I tried to create a new todo in Mail by right-clicking on a message and choosing the option.
Apart from the text styling looking very ugly, I can't use this feature because a message keeps popping up:
+Different versions of a To Do item have been found for the account "Gmail"+
No matter which button I press to close the dialogue it keeps coming back. Eventually I have to look in the Gmail To-do folder and delete the to-do.
I notice this bug was found back in Feb 2008 on Leopard: http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=80739
I have tried changing the preference for notes to be created 'On My Mac' and not in Gmail IMAP but the preference does not seem to do anything - it still keeps dropping them in the Gmail account. This is after closing prefs, quitting and restarting Mail.
    Very annoying.
Anyone know how to solve it?
Is this an OS X bug?

quit Mail, open iCal and delete all gmail to-dos. start Mail and see if that helps.

  • "Trial Version" Message Pop-Ups in iTunes

Since recent upgrades to iTunes and Leopard, and security updates, iTunes randomly pop's up a message saying basically that something is a "Trial Version" and to by the licensed version.
Where are these messages coming from? Is anyone else having this problem? It's so bad that it crashes iTunes. As too many messages open at once and then there is a Kernel issue, as I can see that in the Error Report.
I have tried dumping iTunes and downloading it a new, after having everything iTunes related Zapped including all the preferences and receipts. I saved the Playlists info as I do not want to part ways with years of Playlist making for some error that must have an explanation or cause and perhaps and hopefully a fix.
I do not purchase music at any online stores including iTunes Store, I buy my music and rip it. I do however have an iTunes account, I just don't use it because I don't want anything to do with the DRM's placed on music online.
I had moved from MP3 to AAC a few years ago, think that my whole library best be in AAC and now I'm in the process of going back to MP3, all over 12k songs to see if that has any effect.
I don't see how my views on DRM would translate into pop up messages of these kind, so I'm hoping someone else might be experiencing the same and share a remedy.
I would hate like **** to part ways with iTunes, but if that's the solution, then my hands are tied, I'm tried of the frustration when all I wanna do is hear my music.
    Thanks =)

Ok, so it's not SRS iWow, I took the steps you advised and it came back saying it was not installed.
In the mean time I converted all my music to MP3 from AAC and the other night I got a sole, random pop up yet again telling me something is a trial version and to buy the licensed version and babbles on about how something will only play a certain amount of times. That's rubbish because I have screen-shots showing play-counts way over what that message says and I'm not blocked from listening to the song. But this message seems to be triggered by certain songs, could it be the ID3 tags or something of the sort?
I have a Grab of it and all, it's happening less now that the files are all MP3, but still, it's very annoying as it's making iTunes unstable.
    Any other idea's?

  • Safari has pop ups with any click of the mouse

When either on Safari or Google chrome no matter if i click a link or click anywhere on the page or even in a box to type ill get a pop up overtime. it sometimes is mackeeper but thats not installed. my popup blocker is running as well so i know that. it may have been from going on unkown sites but every click i have no matter what site i have another tab that will pop open

Click here and follow the instructions, or if they don't cover the type of adware on the computer, these ones. If you're willing to use a tool to remove it(you don't need to, but may find it easier), you can instead run Adware Medic; this link is a direct download.

  • How do I rid Safari of constant pop-ups?

I have recently been plagued by something which has attached itself to Safari--annoying pop-ups, GoPhoto.it, and a little green thingy with an arrow inside of a backet.  Please help.  Safari 5.1.10, Mac Snow Leopard

From the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Remove the malicious "GoPhoto" extension. Do the equivalent in the Chrome browser, and follow these instructions to remove GoPhoto from Firefox, if applicable.

  • How to unblock pop ups

How to disable pop up  and or allow site

Settings>Safari>Block Pop-ups>Off. This allows pop ups in Safari. If you set to On - that will not allow pop ups in Safari.

  • Block app ad pop ups

How can I stop Safari pop up ads for my iPad air? Pop ups are for apps and it redirects me to various app stores. My Safari block pop ups is already activated; have reset my iPad numerous times; cleared cookies and data; cookies blocked from third party advertisers and it still no help.

If you're getting ads while browsing sites that should not contain ads, that's going to be a network problem of some kind.
More likely, though, you're getting ads that are normal for the sites you're visiting, in which case you should take this as a sign that those sites are crap and should be avoided. Alternately, if you're getting pop-up ads in certain apps, you just need to either buy the full, ad-free version of that app or quit using the app.
