Iphone screen shaking when I reset

If you have a case on the iphone, then take it off and see if that resolves the issue.
A case could block the proximity sensor. They are not in the same place as the original iphone.

My Itouch went white screen but when i reset it, it didnt change
It is still on the white screen even though i reset it.
And i cant erase everything because all the songs and stuff are from various computers. I think it is from pressure on it because it happened before, but not to this extreme, and i pressed on one side of it and it just fixed itself, but now it won't do anything. I am fed up with this s**t now, i am not the only person this has happened to, i know of friends who have the same problem over time and can do nothing.
I am in search of someone who knows what they are talking about and is not just going to tell me to press a bunch of buttons because that doesnt work!!
What is the point of spending so much money on a product that WILL inevitably F*k up. I am so dissapointed with this service and with apple because there is no contact or way of getting answers from any certified apple technicians.

I have reset it using home and power button.
I have done a system restore deleting everything.
I have not cracked the screen.
I have not applied pressure to it.
It has not been in contact with any fluids of any nature.
I have not dropped it, and it has always been in a case.
All i have done is use it.
HOW CAN YOU SELL A PRODUCT THAT WILL BREAK AND YOU CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT!

IPod Touch 4g, screen shaking when I'm scrolling?
Hi someone please help me! When I try to scroll slowly on my iPod Touch, my screen shakes like crazy and sometimes hits other things on the page I don't want to go to. The weird thing is, is that it goes away and then comes back :/ this is affecting my other apps too. What should I do? i don't have any apple stores near me either. Please help and thanks!
Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
If yu stillhave the problem that indicates a hardware problem. -
Apps appear on iphone screen but when clicked, appear then disappear...???
I 'successfully' dl apps (I get the iTunes bill) and sync and turn on/off my iPhone but my newly installed apps won't work. The ATT people don't know why...anyone???
The same thing occurred with my phone yesterday! None of my apps open for more than a brief second. The organic ones (Stocks, Weather, GoogleMaps, etc) work fine. I tried resetting and that didn't work. Maybe a resync, but Itunes seems to bring even a Cray Research supercomputer to a halt.

Why does my iPhone screen dim when I send text messages?
Whenever I'm texting someone and I tap the voice button to use talk to text, the screen dims to black on my 5s, if my face gets close to the phone.
Also, if I put the phone up to my ear or near my face whenever I have text message convo window open, the phone beeps and dims. It starts trying to record a memo or something?
I'm jailbroken and I have never seen this happen before. Any ideas on what is going on?
Would appreciate any help! - budWe really do not support jail broken devices as it violates the terms of this site. That said the dimming when the phone gets close to your face is a normal function via a proximity sensor to stop inadvertent button triggers

sometimes, when i turn on my iPod nano, i see the apple logo as u would if u resetted ur iPod
anyone have any ideas why and how i can get it fixed?This is just because your iPod is exiting Hibernation or Deep Sleep mode.
This occurs after you've left your iPod asleep for more 14 hours or more; nothing is wrong with the iPod, as it naturally does this.

I set up a passcode to ensure the security of my iPhone 5 but, when I enter it on the home screen, I repeatedly receive an error message and my phone locks. Is there a way to reset the passcode when I am unable to gain access to my phone?
I figured that was the case, but I've used the same passcode for years and I can't seem to figure out how I managed to screw it up when I set up my phone. Without being able to access my phone for a restore, how would I accomplish this? iTunes? Thank you very much for you help!

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

my screen on my iPhone 4s is gone blank and wont turn back on. Even when i reset the phone it is just blank. I know the phone is on because when i change the switch on the side it vibrates.
Also before this the phone wasnt picking up any signal so it worked basically as an ipod.

Display has no backlight or dark screen
Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.

Why does the screen unlock when using voice dialer on iphone 5S?
Here's the scenario I'm referring to: my iphone is in my pocket with the screen locked and headphones plugged in. I toggle the mic switch and use voice control to place a phone call. On every other iphone I have owned, the screen stays locked. On the 5S, the screen unlocks when the call begins, making the end call button or other phone buttons able to be activated accidentally by my leg.
Why did they change this feature on the 5S? The iphone 5 stays locked in the same scenario. Just updated to 7.0.4 and it still hasn't been fixed. Is there a way to fix this issue?Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss) -
Last night my iphone screen all of a sudden was solid blue and now it is black. I tried turning it on and off. Still nothing appeared on the screen. I put it on the charger and this morning it is totally black. However, when I hit the on and off button, I did hear the text message signal go off. When I turned the volume on and off a big white bell flashed. In the last week, there were some other display problems such as the screen blowing up large. The only way to fix it was to turn off the phone and then turn it back on.
What does all of this mean? It seems like I've had these problems since the iphone 4 upgrade.just do reset, press home button and power butoon for a while untill you can see apple

How do I download the music from iTunes onto an old iPhone 3gs without affecting my iPhone 5? If I am understanding you correctly, it sounds like you are returning to an old iPhone that has been erased and you would like to set it up as a new device without restoring from a backup which would affect the name of your iPhone, as well as the contents therein. Basically, it seems like you may be stuck on a screen that is asking if you would like to restore your device from the backup that is filed under the name of your new iPhone, or if you would like to set up the device as a new device. I would suggest that you set it up as a new device to achieve your desired results.

Thank you!If you are referring the the native apps that come with the phone they cant be deleted. go to settings/general/reset then reset home screen layout. If the apps are not the native apps sometimes they are just moved along a screen or so. Swipe over the screen and see if you can find them

I just got an iphone 4 and when I go to sync it, it appears in the left hand column but when I click on it there is just a blank screen with the apply logo and a tiny lock.
OK, I think I fixed it.
After trying to restore with an old backup from the phone (it estimated it would take 4 hours) I cancelled and went through the setup menus again, but set it up as a new phone. It then appeared in iTunes and I restored it from the computer, not the phone. It appears to be working, it's syncing my old apps right now.
Summary:
1. Reset settings on phone (hopefully you backed up fairly recently)
2. Set up as NEW iPhone in setup menu on phone
3. Restore from iTunes on computer when it recognizes the phone
4. Cross fingers -
