IPhone Should Support Flash player

I believe that the iPhone should support Adobe flash player to improve the internet experience as well as enjoyment!

Completely agree---- what good is the wifi card in it if I can't play flash videos or flash games?
Heck, I can't even enjoy NBA.com in all it's badly designed splendor!
Flash should be mandatory for a browser these days.
Any bets on how long it takes them to add it? I'm guessing 2 weeks tops...

Why do iPhones/iPad not support Flash Player/Java and what are my alternatives for browsing sites using these plug-ins?

There are also iSwifter, Photon, Skyfire, etc., some only support Flash some support Java and Flash.
Adobe never made a version of Flash for iOS and closed their mobile flash division a couple of years ago. You can get Flash on other personal devices but you will be using a 2 year old version that has not been patched for security vulnerabilities.
When the original iPhone was released Mr. Jobs said it would never run Java as it was old technology and a security risk. Nothing has changed since.

  • Spartan support Flash Player but not silverlight!.

why spartan(0.11.10061.0), support Flash player but not silverlight?

    Chrome supports flash natively.
I guess they don't want consumers to move to Chrome because some web sites work on Chrome and not Spartan.
Spartan is supposed to be a cut down super lightweight super fast browser.
Running Silverlight/ActiveX in the browser is considered low priority by Microsoft.
I think the idea is you use IE11 if you want Silverlight.

Should you work in one of those enterprise companies.
Or want to use Netflix, SkyGo etc etc.
    Hope that helps.

  • My iPad2 won't support Flash Player. How do I change this without buying a new Pad?

I play some Facebook games on my PC and would like to play them through FB on my iPad2. It doesn't support Flash Player. Is there an upgrade or download I can use to address this problem. I don't want to have to buy a new iPad.

Nope.  Adobe the makers of Flash have not made a version of Flash that runs on iOS.  No iPad in the world can run it natively.
You may however be able to use an alternate browser like Puffin or Photon that support Flash to play the games.

  • Help support iphone in supporting flash content plzzz.

Please post a note of support for iphone to support flash content.
We as iphone users are missing out on internet content that we want to utilize but for some reason iphone will not either 1. Create a workaround or two payoff whoever needs to be paid off. Please show support for flash to b utilized by iphone either thru app development or full browser integration by posting support below.
Who knows maybe someone reads these things who can accomplish this????
Not supporting flash is dumb and makes the internet less enjoyable on an iphone.

It is bloated, slows down page loading, uses up a lot of bandwidth for no benefit that could not have been done just as easily using DHTML or other web standards. And it has had several serious virus vulnerabilities in the past couple of years. Although a lot of my ire is directed towards sites that use it on the home page and that won't work without it.

  • Does the iPad support flash player yet?

Does the iPad support flash player yet?

As has been said here many times now, Adobe has ceased development on all versions of their mobile Flash player, and since the chances are vanishingly small that Apple will ever develop their own, iOS devices will probably never natively support Flash content or apps. If Flash capability is criticial to your needs, you'll probably want to choose another device, though even Android and Windows phone and tablet devices are less and less capable of Flash support.
    Regards.

  • Flash Lite 3 supports Flash Player 8

Yesterday I tried to publish one of my movies to Flash Lite
2.1, but I got 86 errors. Upon examining the errors I found that
they were all related to Flash Player 8 (for example, I use
flash.geom.ColorTransform which is supported in Flash Player 8, but
not in Flash Player 7 or Flash Lite 2.1).
I have seen some references to Flash Lite 3, but other than
the fact that it will support video, I cannot find any more
    information about it.
    1. Will it support Flash Player 8?
    2. Will it support Flash Player 9?
    3. Will it support ActionScript 3?
    4. Is there a beta version available I can play around with?
    5. When will it be released? According to one Adobe press
release it was to be released in the first half of 2007.
    Thanks for any information,
    John

Sadly, Adobe has not publicly announced any features other
    than flv support.

Atomic Web Browser is not Flash-enabled.

  • Does Toshiba 32L3433DG supports Flash player to watch videos

    Hi all,
I'm interested in buying Toshiba 32L3433DG led tv, a really good smart TV, but searching on internet I couldn't find these information, I hope you can help me:
Does the open browser of *Toshiba 32L3433DG* supports *Adobe Flash Player* for online videos?
If yes is it possible *upgrade* Flash Player to the latest versions?
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi
This Smart TV supports Open Browser and other TV apps like HbbTV which allows you to use the different smart services.
The Open Browser dont support flash player but it supports the HTML5 video and audio codecs which allows you to explore the web the way you want to.

  • Why does the iPad not support flash player? I would like to watch programming from att uverse but cannot because of this restriction

Why does the iPad not support flash player? I would like to watch programming from att uverse but cannot because of this restriction

Because NOTHING that is iOS supports Flash. Never has never will.
The only possible option is to try the Skyfire browser from the App store. It is an internet browser that converts flash to HTML 5 so that you can attempt to view it on iOS devices.
I have never tried it so I can tell you if it is any good, but it has gotten decent reviews.

  • Since the iPhone does not support flash player, is there another option to download without jailbreaking the phone?

Is there another option for the iPhone that is similar to flash player? As we know flash is not supported.

No, but there are a couple of 3rd party browsers that convert flash video to HTML5 on their server for access with the iPad.

  • Can Iphone/Ipad install flash player?

I cannot display video from lots of website and cannot install flas player from Adobe. This is very disppapoint, ever time that I try to open. And don't understand why !!!!

No iOS device has ever supported Flash, & the simple fact is, Adobe never made a version of Flash for any iOS device.
Adobe has also stopped all development, of Flash, for ALL mobile devices. Flash for mobile devices is done.

  • Does Firefox for Android Tablet support Flash Player?

I have a Samsung Tablet. I like to play Call of Gods. It requires Flash Player in order to play it. I have found Flash media readers, video players, but not anything to play browser games.
Does Firefox have the Flash Player that I can use to play online games on my Samsung Tablet?

SrazZz is incorrect and also did not give a reason why Flash will would not work.
As of Android 4.1+ one needs Firefox 27.0 or newer in order to run the old Flash 11.1 plugin from Adobe. Mozilla nor the Firefox browser does not make or supply Flash.
There is no guarantee it will work properly or at all on some hardware and cpus. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-watch-flash-videos-firefox-android
