IPhone shows LTE and 4G, but internet not working ?

I got a new iPhone 6 on Friday. After restoring my iPhone from my previous 4S backup (created Thursday before getting the new phone Friday) the phone was working great with the exception of the data. The text and phone calls are working fine. The strangest thing is that the phone says LTE or 4G (if I turn the LTE off), but the data is not working.
Today, after resetting my network settings and getting a new SIM from AT&T I still couldn't get the data working. The only solution I've found was setting up my iPhone as new. When I setup the iPhone as new the data works perfectly fine.
Is this a common issue? Any insight would be gladly appreciated!
I'm on AT&T. iPhone 6 128GB, purchased from Apple.com.
UPDATE: I found that yesterday my phones text messages were also not working when I was not connected to WiFi. I talked to an Apple rep yesterday as well and he said that if I set it up as a new phone and it was working then something is wrong with my backup.

Yes this is possible when using WDS as the client connects to the main station and then connects to the remote.
On the main base station turn off allow wireless clients to connect to this base station, so that clients only connect to the remote base station.

    Basic troubleshooting steps outline in the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.  Try each of these in order until the problem is resolved.  If you've been through all these steps and the trouble persists, you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.  Be sure to make an appointment first at the Genius Bar so you won't have a long wait.

    This is my problem that has to originate from the update.  So glad that I did not purchase a MacBook!  Apple products/apps are appearing to be not different from Windows products.
    I have deleted and reinstalled from the device and desktop, resets, etc.  When I uninstalled and reinstalled while connected to my desktop, the older version of pages was installed.  I was able to see all of my files that were saved to the cloud.  I was forced to update again to access any of the saved files.  Once updated again, I could no longer open pages.  It began, to open and abruptly shut down.

    If she has backed up her iPhone she can replace that iPhone and set up the new iPhone from her backup.
    You can put the iPhone that went into water into a plastic baggie with either new silica gel packets (preferred) or raw rice and let it sit for  4 - 5 days. After that time remove the phone and connect it to power for at least a half hour. While it is still connected to power reset it by holding down the power and hold button, wait for the Apple logo then let go of the buttons. Might take several tries. If it revives immediately back it up.

    It's real easy to create a new one and, in fact, it's too easy.  I say that because multiple IDs are a PIA.  The problem is that anything obtained from the iTunes Store is PERMANENTLY associated with the ID that was used to obtain the item(s).  iTunes items can not be transferred from one ID to another and IDs can not be merged.
    The problem arises when you want to update an app.  If you're doing it from iTunes on your computer, you must log out and back in to get to the correct ID.  Then you update and log out/in again to get back to where you started.  It's slightly easier if you update from the iPad/iPod device as there is no need to log out/in BUT you still need the correct password for the appropriate ID.  Of course, with a disabled ID, the problem is much worse!
    A replacement Apple ID makes sense ONLY if you wish to start out absolutely brand new with zero iTunes Store purchases.
    If you're really butting your head aginst a wall and you're reasonably close to an Apple Store, my suggestion is that you make an appointment with the resident "Genius" and get his/her help.
    One last thought...  If your brother actually got a human on the phone to dispute the charges, go there and explain the problem.  Of course, if Apple did not accept his explanation of what occurred, that could be the whole issue.  Apple believes that money is owed on the account!

    Go to settings, iTunes &amp; App Store, tap on your ID, sign out, then sign in with your new information. You cannot delete an old ID, you just stop using it.

    Delete the Facebook app then reinstall.
    Tap and hold down the Facebook app until it jiggles then tap the x then tap Delete. Press your Home button once or twice to stop the jiggling.
    Restarrt your iPhone.
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.
    Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
    Then go to the App Store and re download Facebook.

    At the moment I have got a serious problem talking about my new iPhone 5s. As it's a cell phone I would like to talk to my friends and family using it. But it seems that this part of the devices is not working anymore as the mic doesn't record anything. If I try to call someone, they can't hear me while I can clearly listen to what they are trying to tell me. So I was wondering whether this is a "phone-app"-problem only or if the mic does not work at all. So I just use to start the "memo"-app, and: It doens't work either. I have no clue what's wrong with the iPhone.
    I also tried the update to 7.0.4 and even the reset with the same iOS build, but nothing changed.
    So what should I do?
    Now, the second problem is that I cannot use Touch-ID anymore. It used to work without any problems but now I does not recognize my finger(s) anymore and I am not able to scan a new finger anymore...that's really annoying. - Tried the same staff here: Update and reset, but nothing changed.
    Anyone here who experienced the same problem(s)? Any help or good advice?

  • Airport connected but internet not working!

    My airport will say that it is connected to the internet and will sometimes pull up an IP address, but at my home network it will not pull up an IP address.  I can connect to the internet through Safari while the airport has an IP address and it will work for about 30 seconds to a minute.  If I shut off the airport then turn it back on, it works again shortly.  At home, I have deleted the keychain for the home network and taken the network off of my preferred networks.  I then re-added it and entered in the information/passwords.  There is still no IP address despite renewing the DHCP lease.  HELP!  This seems like 2 issues that are both affected by my airport functionality.

    After looking at other forums, it seems that other people have this same problem with the message of a "self assigned IP address" but not able to connect.
    I have tried the steps of removing the keychain and network and re-adding and still no internet.

    Try restoring it on another computer you have synced with.  If you can't do this you will have to force it into recovery mode and restore it, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212.
