Iphone sold out in Peru

Hello!
I live in Peru and i'd really like to buy an iPhone4 (with the corresponding contract of claro o movistar, peruvian providers). Unfortunately it is unvailable since december although lots of people want to buy one (check the Claro facebook-site). They offered a little stock in november but since then they cannot offer it because Apple doesn't send more phones (or whatever may be the reason).
In the Claro or movistar offices they can't tell me when the next stock will be delivered.
So, can you tell me when I can hold the new iPhone4 in my hands?

Very bad marketing by apple. They could sell 10 mill in 3 days maybe even more but i guess they didn't make enough phones. They start selling iphone in 22 countries on july 11 but could not even supply enough for USA. All iphones was sold out in 2 hours. Look on the ebay, they going as much as $1200.00 a piece, is about 5700 listings.

Same thing here in Central Florida. They only had 15 iPhones in stock and were sold out early morning. Funny thing is that they are not selling any other phones besides iPhones today. Guess it is gonna be a quiet day for ATT store employees!

IPhone Malfunction & Sold Out at Apple Stores?

My iPhone's touch screen stopped working today completely, so I can't navigate past the unlock screen. When I connect it to my computer, it won't recognize that anything is even there. I just need a new iPhone desperately, but all the Apple stores (or at least the Apple store in Knoxville, TN) is sold out, as well as AT&T.
So what do I do?! Does Apple have iPhones on hand for exchange or how are they going to help me out since my product is defective?
Please let me know! I can't go long without a phone!

Yes, holding the Sleep/Wake button down for like 5 seconds or so will allow you to power down. If that doesn't work, try the force reset:
Hold the Sleep/Wake button AND the HOME button down for like 6-7 or more seconds.
That may help.

Various reports coming out now that iPhone 6Plus Sold out!

Various reports are now surfacing that the iPhone 6Plus is sold out, not verified and I am sure the stores will have them. However, shipments are being delayed 3-4 weeks on new orders....stay tuned people!!!!
I am sure Verizon and others will still take your orders....just won't get it for awhile...

DDoes this mean that they will only ship when they have enough for all the preorders? Or will this that ordered right at 12:01 PST still get it on the launch date and those that ordered at say 8:00am PST may have to wait a few weeks?
i Seem to recall a similar situation with the 5-model, but I still got mine on the launch date because I ordered at 12:00am i ordered my friends a few hours later and hers took longer

ok so i ordered my iphone 4 from att.com at approx 630 this morning..i used my visa debit card...there was a $1 hold on it followed shortly by the cost of the phone for me which was $422 after taxes since i wasnt eligable for the the early upgrade..well i have a order number and it shows up on the order details and everything but i never recieved a email confirmation like others mentioned they havnt recieved..i called att and told them what was going on and the customer service rep, who was the most helpful rep i have ever delt with in all honesty, said that the order was processed and that my order should be on time..she told me that their servers or what not are backed up and it might take a while to get the confirmation email and not to worry everything was ordered fine. she also confirmed the "rumor" about att being sold out of pre orders..she told me that anyone who ordered their phone after 430 eastern time would not recieve their iphone 4 on time, and would recieve it after june 25...
glad waiting up was worth it for me at least...just thought i would let you all know what i was told

I received my order confirmation email around 5:13 AM EST this morning from AT&T. Unfortunately, I entered my PIN incorrectly to transfer/port my VW number. I was told by an AT&T representative around 10:30 AM that my order would not be processed until the PIN was resubmitted correctly. My port status was finally confirmed around 2:30 PM. As of now my order status is "in progress" with all "quantity ordered"s. I'll have to call in and confirm that my order will be delivered on the 24th!

Sold Out in Southbury, Ct.

My wife and I arrived at the local AT&T store at 7:30am and were told by an employee that the store had 60 phones. There were about 25 people ahead of us so we waited in line. AT&T was letting 3 people at a time into the store. Some 20-30 minutes later those customers were coming out of the store, some with phones and some without. As we got closer to the front of the line people were coming out of the store saying that they had ran out of white 16Gs, then soon it was "out of all 16Gs". After waiting for 3 hours to get in my wife was the one to get the last iPhone that they had - an 8G. I had to order my 16G and was told that they'll call me in 1-2 weeks when it comes in. I still had to pay upfront for the phone. So the bottom line is that we were told that there were 60 phones but they sold out at 25 phones! It would have been better if an employee had gone through the line asking each person which model they wanted, then comparing it to their in-store inventory and telling people that wanted certain models that they were out. I'm happy for my wife for getting the last iPhone but I feel bad for the 20-30 people behind us still waiting at the store just to order it!

Hi .. found this on macrumors website about the iphone availability in-store .. amongst other things they put 'sold out' on if there are less than 10 units in stock and also, thery're only counting 8GB phones so if you want a 4GB there may be plenty around ..

and a half ... at the dinky AT&T Stores in Savannah GA and Hilton Head SC!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr! They got way too FEW!!!!

Mich subur got 15 in and 50 people were outside waiting at 8 am, this is a small store - the store is all dressed up for the 3G release and no iphones, They told me 7 days maybe and I could buy one and wait until they get more. What a joke! The ATT folks said it was all Apples fault
Every store is sold out, I think Verizon, T mobile and Sprint need to take some Apple marketing classes!

I went to get mine on July 13 and found out the iPhone was sold out. The store clerk at the AT&T store in the mall said next week it'll probably be in. So next week is here and still sold out. One guy got ahead of me however and asked that question. Unfortunately the store clerk had no clue at all when it'll be in.
I went to another AT&T I found non-malled and that guy told me "3 Weeks" from today (set a pre-order up too). Anyone else try to get their phones recently to find out it's sold out until August?

It seems that the Apple stores are getting them in faster than at&t. Your profile doesn't say where you are, so I don't know how close you are to an Apple store, but here's what I did to get mine the night before last.
I called the local stores (I have two within 20 minutes of me) about an hour before they closed to check on the stock and the line. Since most people show up in the morning and go home once they run out, I often find that the stores have had a delivery during the day that has not sold out. Since that stock doesn't show up on Apple's availability page until after they close, most people don't know about until then, and they show up the next morning.
It turned out that one of the stores I called had the model I wanted in stock, and had a very short line (4 people). So I jumped in the car and hustled over there. Ended up the 3rd and final person in line (they cut the line off before they close so they can get everyone done by closing) and I got their last 16GB Black.
I got lucky and this worked my first try. Depending on how many stores are close to you and how much stock they're getting, it may take a little longer.
Note that I have heard that if are a current at&t customer and you have a Foundation Account Number (FAN, see your online account management page), which is an employer/organization sponsored discount program, Apple won't see you the phone. So I called and had mine removed before I started my search. Once I had the phone, I re-enrolled in the program.

Sold Out @ Rogers and Fido

I understand the iPhone 3GS is presently sold out at both Rogers and Fido. Does anyone know if they're still available at the Apple retail stores? I live in the Toronto area.

Grr!! Why has Apple stopped the Classic! Mine is on its last legs, was going to buy one and now they are all sold out!! Im seriously hacked off Apple! What do i do now!?

I cant believe Apple has discontinued the Classic without telling anyone - I need a new one and now they are all sold out!!!! Its crazy!! I have over 100Gb of music, in car, everywhere! And now when mine finally stops working (its on its last legs), I cant replace it as they don't do anything with the same capacity!! They have invented a great gadget and then stopped it! Usual big company mentality - oh well, time to start researching MP3 - no more Apple for me.....grrrrr

Because usually, when a product is discontinued, a store would drop the price to get rid of old stock (of a product that the manufacturer has decided is no longer popular).

Wait. As per the suggestion in my previous post. There is after all, already an iPhone with 128GB capacity. Technically therefore, that would suggest that it is possible to produce a replacement for the Classic. But since I have no inside knowledge of anything Apple are planning, don't quote me on that!
Work on the basis that since your iPod is only "on its last legs" rather than "not working at all", it still has a useful purpose. Maybe by the time it does stop working, suggestion 1 will have come to pass.
I have no practical suggestion for avoiding a touch screen, it's the modern way!
Of course, if all else fails, and you end up with an iPod that has less capacity than your Library, you could resort to using Smart Playlists to manage your iPod, by using them to add and remove songs (for example, ones recently played that you don't want to hear for a while) and thereby keeping the songs on the iPod within its capacity. If that interests you, please ask and I'll explain it in more detail.

I recently got an iPhone 4 out of nowhere it has decided to go to connect to iTunes screen/emergency calls only when I plug into iTunes it states we are unable to continue with your activation at this time please try again later, or contact customer care

I have recently got an iPhone 4 out of no where it has decided to think that my headphones are in and they are not but does work with headphones in.
Then later on within the same day it after turning my phone on and putting it on charge it comes to the screen stating to connect to iTunes/emergency calls only/no service so I connect it iTunes and it says we are unavailable to continue with your activation at this time.
