Iphone speaker is sounding buzzy/distorted

All of a sudden, my iphone 4 speaker sounds distorted/buzzy.
I restored, and the problem still persists..
Any recommendations?

A reset should fix it:
Double click the Home button. Slide up with one finger on ALL your apps to close them.
Then, Press the Sleep/Wake button + Home button and hold 15 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.
This will reset your device without erasing data, apps or settings.

Internal Speaker sound like DISTORTED

Hi All,
My MBP 15" 2008 started to giving me problem. This time - Internal Speaker sound like DISTORTED! No matter what genre of music, what software i play from even iTune, it just distorted. Though, the volume cut down to 50%, still can heard that distorted sound. I don't know what's the issue suppose to name as ~ distorted? Crackle? ...
I've try to reset PRAM & SMC ,with no luck. Software updated and restart too, No Luck.
Can you help me? Thanks!!

Not a usual complaint. Is it just one speaker or both? If the former, it would probably be a hardware issue and may have to be replaced. If the latter, considering what you have tried already, I would suggest a OS reinstall (this is just a guess on my part). Consider an appointment at an Apple store genius bar. It is free and they may have a definitive answer for you.

Well I Will Start Here,
I Tried Everything I Even Restarted My Settings Just So I Can See if That Would Work Because Someone Sujested It But What They Neglected To Say That Their Probrolem Was With A Ipad ? Anywho To Keep It Short I Went Online Logged A Complaint With Apple Made A Appointment With A Apple Store In My Area To Take The Phone There After Trying Everything (Resetting, changing setting etc..........) Nothin Worked Upon Taking The Phone To The Store They Swapped Out My Phone For A New One Volume On New Phone Is Perfect And I Only Had To Wait 40 Minutes

The built in speaker on my iPhone 5 is sounding grainy and scratchy. Anyone have a fix?

So last night I was talking via speaker phone and suddenly noticed that the sound quality was horrible. It was extremely grainy and scratchy sounding. At first I thought it was just something with the call quality so I turned off the speaker and talked on the phone normally. Later I got an e-mail and noticed that the tone that it made also sounded scratchy. So I tried playing a song through the iPhone speaker and sure enough that was awful too.
I know it's the internal speaker because the music played fine through headphones. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you go about fixing it?

I was looking through our documentation for the best way to troubleshoot this issue. If it is a software issue, then our iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant found here http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/phone/ should help resolve the issue.
In particular sections 1, 3, and 5. Here is Section 1 to get you started
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

My iphone wont make sounds any more , when i play music or videos i cant hear a thing .. tried resetting it and formatting it but still wont work !
it rings and the speaker works while calling but other than that all audio-related functions are off .

When i play games on my iphone theres no sound

when i play games there is no sound theres no sound when i recieve texts or calls ... ive tried everything it only seems to work with my head sets on
BUTTTT... but videos and music the sounds play just fine

Iphone 4s replacement sound is lower...

Hey guys,
I recently had to have my iPhone 4S replaced due to my wifi greying out... Moving along to the actual issue, the replacement iPhone that I got is giving me **** volume through my earpods because of this stupid "high volume" **** or otherwise known as "EU volume limit".
Can anyone point me in the direction to get this **** sorted out or even be able to get this ****** soundcard outta my phone an replaced?
I really am dissapointed by this, I was expecting it to be the same as my other iPhone and not have the iPhones 5/5C/5S soundcard chips..

Sighhhh, wasted so much time yesterday and today going around Sony centre and then carphone warehouse. They told me to come back after Easter.
I came home, banged the phone against the wall and it worked.
Turned out that mic was working on loud speaker and when using headphones so I thought that the secondary mic is working and the main one (placed with the speakers) isn't. So I banged that part against the wall slightly (in plastic case to prevent scratches) then put the phone underwater, waited for it to dry and now it's working. Idk how well and if it's of perfect quality again but people can hear me well.

When I am on a call in my car I can play and hear the music on my iPhone but when I hang up from the call the music reverts back to my iPhone speaker.
