    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Can I make a flyer containing the images of an Iphone but not the apple logo. I'm a student and I'm buying used cell phones and reselling them to help with bills. I buy a lot of Iphones and I wanted to promote this. Is this allowed or do I need permission

I should add I just plan on putting up a few flyers around my campus...nothing big.

  • My ipod 4G wont go past the apple logo when I turn it on - it will stay on the apple logo for few min, then blanks out and back to the apple logo.  Tried reset option/troubleshoot several times.  Also wont show up on computer at all when I plug in to USB.

Can someone please help with my issue listed - My ipod 4G wont go past the apple logo when I turn it on - it will stay on the apple logo for few min, then blanks out and back to the apple logo.  Tried reset option/troubleshoot several times.  Also wont show up on computer at all when I plug in to USB.
Any tips are very much appreciated.

Place the iPod Touch into DFU mode.  This will be similar to what the factory would do to install the iOS onto new iOS devices.
Placing it into DFU mode will allow you to "format" and install the current iOS for that device.
To place your iOS device into DFU mode.
First connect you iOS device to you computer.
Open iTunes if not already open
Now turn off your iOS device using the power swipe.
Press the home and sleep button on your iOS device for 10 seconds.
Release the sleep button but carry on holding down the home button.  For another 10 seconds.
Your iOS device should now be on DFU.  Click on restore and iTunes will download the latest iOS for your device.
Hopefully that sorts it if not, you will have to go to a service centre or call Apple Care up and get them to collect it and repair it. (replace it)  Or go into an Apple Store.

  • I replaced my 2010-2011 iMac internal HD i dont have an install disk i created one with my external HD but when i go to install lion onto my imac it stays at the apple logo screen.HELP ME PLEASE!

I replaced my 2010-2011 iMac internal HD i dont have an install disk i created one with my external HD but when i go to install lion onto my imac it stays at the apple logo screen.HELP ME PLEASE!

Boot from the original Install disc that came with the computer and then format the drive Mac OS Extended (Journaled) using the GUID partition. Then  you can re-install OS X. If you no longer have the original media call AppleCare with the serial number of the machine (look on the bottom of the stand) and for a nominal fee they will ship you replacement media.
The chances are very good you will have fan problems if you used an off-the-shelf HD, beginning in 2009 Apple began using HD's from vendors that incorporated heat sensors into the HD. If you did not buy the same type of HD your computer will think the HD is overheating causing the fans to run at full speed.

  • IPod Stays on the Apple Logo

I just got a brand new ipod from apple today. It worked fine for the first few hours, but now it freezes and stays on the apple logo and wont load to any screen. When i restart it it just goes back to the logo and stays there. Now and then it will display the sad ipod sign or the support screen. That only happens once every 20+ restarts. I cant restore it because when i plug it is its still on the logo.
    Do i have a dud?

You could try forcing it into disk mode while it is restarting and while connected to your pc.
To do that, when the Apple logo appears hold down the centre/select and play/pause buttons together. It may then start up and be recognised in itunes. You may then be able to restore it if necessary.
Have you tried restarting it while it's connected to the charger? It may need to charge for a bit perhaps, lithium ion batteries perform optimally after 2 or 3 charge cycles.
As your's is new the battery may have dropped a bit lower than it should have. Just a looked at a photo ipod for someone with the same symptoms, just needed a new battery. Yours doesn't!!
You'll probably get it to start up if you put it in disk mode, if your USB ports are 2.0 you can leave it to charge a bit on your pc as long as it's not hibernating or sleeping. Or stick on the wall charger. It doesn't need to be discharged and all that just used normally after you get a bit of charge in it perhaps.
Of course it could be something completely different!
    Good luck!

  • I turned my iphone 3gs off and when i went to turn it back on it just stays on the apple logo and has been like that for quite some times

Hello, my phone was being slow so i turned it off. when i went to turn it back on it did the usually white apple logo but it has been on that logo for 15 or more minutes now what do i do?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • Brand new IPhone stuck with the Apple logo

My phone is brand-new, bought it yesterday together with two more for my sisters, and it asked for an update. After it finished updating, it told me to connect to Itunes, which I did. As soon as I connected it to Itunes, the only option left was to restore. I waited 10 minutes for it to restore until it came to the finishing point, but in the end, there was an error, and since then, my phone has been stuck with the apple logo on it. I tried turning it off by pressing the sleep button and the home
button at the same time until it turns off, but when I turn it on, the apple logo comes back and stays. I left the apple logo on the entire night to see if it would go off, but the apple logo only came off when the battery ran out. When I started charging it this morning, the only thing that happened was the apple logo coming on again and staying. I tried restoring it twice yesterday and in those two times there was an error. My sister also had an update and her phone didnt ask to be connected to Itunes, it just turned on and had a start up as if it was the first time she was turning it on. I don't know whether the problem is my computer or the phone... Can anyone help me?
