Iphone stolen, but is it jailbroken?
My iphone was stolen, I found it's last location at an apartment building coincidentaly near my house, but the time stamp has not changed for several hours.
I set it up to lock remotely but I have not gotten a confirmation email. Does this mean it's turned off? Or could it also be jailbroken? If it is jailbroken can I still get a location of where it is?
Most likely is that it has been restored as new in iTunes. That would wipe everything off it and restore it to as new condition. Your information is completely gone, including your iCloud account that enabled the find my iPhone settings, so it is no longer trackable.
Anyone can restore any iOS device in iTunes. Once restored, it is no longer trackable.

I unfortunately just got my IPhone 4s stolen.I thought I had the find my iPhone enabled but I didn't because I cannot locate the phone when I sign in ICloud.I have a password on the phone but i'm not sure if I turned on the option where the phone resets if you incorrectly put the password more than ten time. I immediately called my phone company (Verizon) and reported the phone stolen.So I know whoever took the phone cannot place calls or use the phone. But can they still access my data on the phone if they manage to unlock the phone? If so how can I erase all data on the phone so the thief can't access my personal information? is there any other way other than Find my IPhone to wipe off the data on the phone? I really don't want my personal information such as pictures, text messages, notes and social networks profile available to a stranger!!? Help please!!!

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. Keep in mind if the old phone is not a smartphone and you currently have unlimited data that feature will fall off. If you have a tier data plan no changes will be made. No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.

- If not shown/shown off, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

You can enable Lost Mode for the lost/stolen iPhone to access a array of features. If the iPhone is locatable when it is connected to the internet, then a location will appear on icloud.com/#find. For more information, visit here or contact Apple. -

Apple and/or iTunes support can't locate it for you, only you can potentially locate it via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone / Find My iPad on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPhone disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc. -

I have been backing up my iPhone and iPad through the iCloud.
Recently my iPhone 4 was stolen but had recently been backed up. I am trying to find the Notes on that iPhone through the icloud.com.
When I go onto icloud.com, I can only see the iPad Notes - not the iPhone Notes.
Can anyone help?

GWere both devices sync'ing their notes to iCloud? Or was one set to sync, and the other just to backup?
If you look in settings -> iCloud you needed to have the slider by Notes "ON" for both devices if you wanted to sync notes between both of them and iCloud. In that case, notes on each would be identical, and the same as you can view in the Notes app on www.iCloud.com
If you had the Notes slider "OFF" and the iCloud Backup option "ON" then your notes should be in your backup and restoreable, but you will not see them online in the Notes app there. -

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
