Iphone stopped working, and Im in the middle of the jungle. Help!
I'm in the middle of the jungle in Siem Reap, Cambodia and my iphone 3GS 32g just suddenly stopped working. I had been using it all day to take photos, and it suddenly went black and wont turn on. I havent dropped, or damaged it in anyway. It doesn't respond no matter what I do.
I'm going to Bangkok, Thailand tomorrow. I''m wondering if my warranty is honored abroad here, and if there is anything I can do. I desperately need to access my phone for contact information. Please help!

I think i am having the same problem with u.
i usually charge my iphone on a dock overnight and one day i found it switched off charging with a empty red charging battery on the screen.
i think it did turn on a few times during the day suddenly showing 100% charged and after a while it switch itself off showing the red battery again. afterthat it never turned on again. all i get is the empty red charging battery no matter how long i charged it for. i tried resetting it by pressing the home and connect to usb or pressing the home and power button for 10 seconds but they didnt work.
i rang up the support team and they claim it is an hardware issue and can be repaired only in the country of purchase.

Sounds like a bogus pop up. In any case power down your Mac, your modem, your router. Then power back up in 1 minute sequence; modem, router, Mac.

I downloaded Photoshop CC 2014 last week and every time I open the program, I get an error message that reads "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 has stopped working" and it forces me to close the program. How to I resolve this?

It just didn't occur to me to do so.
My intent was to report that there was at least one other user encountering a similar problem. It occurred to me that Adobe might be interested in determining the scale of a problem which causes one of their best known products to fail to run quite so completely after a clean install
I also see that I misreported the OS I'm running - its Windows 8.
If there is further information I can provide which might be helpful in determining a solution, if someone could be specific about what would be helpful, then I will try to respond appropriately.

The X230 has Intel HD 4000 graphics support built in to the processor. Windows was pretty stubborn about refusing driver updates, but I just managed to get drivers from the Intel site to install and Photoshop is now running, so hopefully I need not try your patience any further.
In case anyone else has a similar problem and stumbles on this the way to install the driver that worked was to:
- download the zip version of the generic driver from Intel
- use the 'have disk' option in the windows dialog to install the driver - other paths in the UI did not work with windows refusing to install the driver. -
icloud has worked perfectly. now a message comes up saying" it has stopped working and microsoft will attempt to fix the problem". I have signed out and signed back in. restarted the computer. no luck. Any ideas?
First thing I would try would be to remove the battery from your MacBook, connect the computer to it's power adapter and start up, then see if the keyboard and trackpad work normally. Some older batteries have been known to expand and interfere with keyboard and trackpad. If this works, replace the battery.

So usually when my iphone would stop working I would just press down on the lock and home button, and then the Apple logo would appear.
However, my lock button stopped working a while ago..
If I go to the Apple store can I get them to fix my lock button, without deleting any of my phone content?Apple will not fix the lock button, they will replace the phone for $149. You should back up your phone so you can restore its content to the replacement. If it doesn't show up in iTunes, hope you have a previous backup on your computer or iCloud.

Downloadhelper just stopped working and I can no longer get the icon to load into the tool bar.
I downloaded the add on Downloadhelper and it worked for many video captures and then stopped. I reinstalled it but the icon will not load into the toolbar or the tools under View -> Toolbars -> Customize. I have gone through the troubleshooting guides and everything seems to be enabled properly. At the same time Firefox stopped allowing me to open more than one Firefox screen.
Contact the carrier and ask them what is going on.

Out of the blue, my computer stops working and refuses to power up. Can anyone help?
So I am posting this on a Thursday night. Monday morning and night, my computer was working fine. Come Tuesday, however, and my computer won't turn on. I don't think much of it; I shrug it off and head to school. Come back from school, and the computer still does not turn on.
Now I get worried. So I:
1,) I make sure the cords are all secure and plugged in, which they were. The computer is plugged directly into the wall; it is not on a power strip. The green LED lights up when i reconnect thew power cord after disconnecting it. But, after I hit the power button, the computer flickers and the light turns off.
2.) I swap out the power cord on my computer eith the one for the monitor. Still no luck.
3.) My friends told me it just might be dust. So I removed the shell, and used a can of compressed air. MUCH dust came out. I put everything back together, and still the computer does not work; the same thing occurs as was before.
4.) Now I go through a much deeper cleaning, removing fans and cleaning it all by hand, still to no avail.
I have tried everything I know to fix this thing. Know I am reaching out to the community. Anyone have any advice/suggestions? Has anyone also run into this problem? I own and mainly use an HP Slimline s5310y. This is the computer that broke. It's a 64-but computer running the Windows 7 (64-Bit) OS. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!Hi,

and a USB. I tried resetting it severally by pressing the sleep & home button but that didn't help. I also uninstalled all my itunes related programs and reinstalled them but I'm still yet to fix the problem. Whenever I connect the ipod to my computer, windows seems to pick up on new hardware having been connected but you can't view the files on the ipod through itunes or my computer. The computer acknowledges that something has been connected but for some reason the ipod ain't being recognised.
ps- All I want to do is solve this problem so I don't mind losing all the files I had on the ipod as it wasn't much anyway.Did you try removing and reinstalling all the Apple software using:

SIMPLE FIX : PRESS AND HOLD THE RESET BUTTON FOR 30 SECONDS. THE RESET BUTTON IS LOCATED ON THE BACK OF THE LINKSYS MODEM. DONE !!!!!!! YOU'RE WELCOME !!!!
Maybe one fix however there maybe other problems or interferences that may cause devices not to connect or inhibit proper router operations. Entails more troubleshooting then doing a factory reset. Sometimes it could help though.

Make sure it is charged, then try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts. If this does not work, see http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281. If that does not help visit an Apple store genius bar and have the techs test it.
