Iphone stuck on red battery charging screen ios7

This is the screen i am stuck on i have tried everything and its been plugged in for ages.. please help me..

Hello there, joeylee123.
The following Knowledge Base article offers some good steps for troubleshooting your issue:
iPhone and iPod touch: Charging the battery
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1476
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge for up to 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue is persists, please contact Apple Support.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
Cheers,
Pedro.

  • My iphone 4 is stuck on the battery charge screen.

    Hi all,
my iphone 4 ran down to low power, I plugged it in to charge but it didn't. Now it is on the battery screen, and it won't charge, I've had it plugged in for hours, the laptop won't recognise it, I put it into DFU mode and was able to resore it but after it restored it was still stuck on the battery screen. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Chris

Can you describe more about what happens when you put the device into DFU? Like after a force restore, are you getting any errors in iTunes?
Always check and make sure everything is up to date. Your iTunes, OS, Firewall, etc.
That being said, is there Any possibility of trying DFU on a different computer? I think it's safe to say this is a software bug in the device and not in the computer. Try getting a different .ipsw from somewhere on the internet rather than depend on Apple to provide you theirs. Google "iOS 5.0.1 .ipsw" and force an install (in DFU mode) by clicking Restore while holding down Shift (Mac) or Alt (Windows).
Worse case scenario is that you have to contact Apple about all of this.

  • IPhone 5 stuck on low battery charging screen A.K.A $500 Paper Weight

Well this is the third and final iPhone 5 my family has encountered with this issue, Luckily my mom upgraded to a 5S and avoided this issue even though she was experiencing it. Me and my father are not as lucky. Usually jumping power sources and rebooting works. Finally tonight my phone is stuck on it and nothing I can do will bring it off. My phone is totally *mint* and with an otter box defender case looks perfect. Now I would have had it replaced when the battery went to **** after a well known bug they had. However I was not in the warranty window still. Then when my lock/sleep button stopped working that was just icing on the cake. The screen being stuck now is the nail in the coffin. Now I love apple and have had every Generation iPhone since the original. However past 2 years living no where near an apple store has made it unfair and not worth having. The Genius usually take care of you if your not too far outside your warranty and the issue is a known apple defect or issue. However getting a known defect fixed is almost impossible when your not near an apple store. You are stuck paying out of pocket for shipping  and even for "recall" work if it happens to not be a recall issue. Plain and simple most of us can't go a week without a phone so when there's a known issue or manafactures defect you can't get it fixed easily. Now because I missed all the recall fixes and everything I am out over $1200 on two iPhone 5. Now do I spend another $1200 and go through the same **** or do I go with samsung?  I am going to share this with many forums and try to spread awareness. The iPhone 5 i have noticed to have the most problems and every single one a friend or family member has had all share the same issues and problems. They all are in cases and taken care of and experiencing the same issues. Anyone else notice the same problems? I know I am not alone; how are samsung galaxy's phone and warranty compared to apple and iPhone?

Just sounds like a bad battery.

  • My iphone will not go past charge screen

my iphone wont go passed the charge screen with the lighting and red battery i have tryd to tern it on my the top button but nothing please help

Possibly your battery or your charging set-up is faulty. Try different charger and cable. If still problem, make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple Store for free quick battery diagnostic testing.

  • My ipod touch is jammed on the battery charging screen, i have tried hooking up to itunes to reset it but it jams itunes as well. I cannot switch it off either. Can anyone help?

My ipod touch seems to be jammed on the battery charging screen it has the spining symbol like its trying to load something.  I cannot turn it off. I have tried hooking it up to itunes to reset it, but it seems to jam itunes as well. Any help would b much appreciated.

    Try:
    - Resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Then connecting it to your computer.  If iTunes see it, restore the iPod via iTunes
    - If no sceen in iTunes, see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visible so you can restore it. For recvery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
    - Let, let the battery fully drain and then charger and try again.

  • Changing the battery charging screen saver

Currently when I plug my phone into the charger, the Clock app appears by default. Is there any way to change this default? Also are there any apps that display the amount of battery charge graphically? I'd prefer to have a battery charging screen saver than a clock screen saver.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
To turn of the clock when charging open the clock>menu key>options>scroll to when charging>do nothing>save>exit.
I know of an app "Battery-info" by Toysoft listed as .$.099 in AppWorld.
I'm not endorsing it as I haven't used it, and I'm sure there are other apps as well.

  • I have an iphone 4S that the battery charge always shows 1%.

When I plug it in it seems like it charges up but the indication doesn't move from 1%.  I have been operating normally otherwise for the past 8 hours without recharging and it still shows 1%.  I have used different chargers and it does not make a difference and have tried shutting it down.  I think it is operating fine, just indicating the wrong battery charge.  Has someone run across this before?  What can I do to fix it.

    Hi Tim,
Since the battery is holding a charge and the issue is persisting after a restart, a restore should resolve the issue.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
    Restore your iOS device
Connect your iOS device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes. In the Summary pane, click the Restore button for your device.
Click Restore again to confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and delete all data and content. iTunes will download the iOS software file and restore your iOS device.
After your iOS device is restored to factory settings, it will restart, and you’ll see the "Slide to set up” welcome screen. Follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. You can set up your device as new or using a previous backup. If your iOS device has cellular service, it will activate after you restore.
    Additional Information
If you get an error message, find out how to fix most update and restore errors.
If your iOS device with cellular service doesn’t activate after restoring, find out how to fix activation issues.
If your iOS device restarts repeatedly or isn’t responding, for example if you see a stopped progress bar or no progress bar, put the device into recovery mode and restore it again.

  • Iphone won't keep battery charge - this is my third iphone!

After a year of no iphone problems, using wifi all the time (no bluetooth) suddenly my phone wouldn't keep its charge. Apple happily replaced it. The replacement phone had even worse problems within a few days, and they replaced that one too. Now my third iphone won't keep a charge. I have bluetooth and wifi turned off, and I don't autocheck my email messages. With no usage, the battery is down 25% 12 hours after a full charge. I feel like the problem must be on my end, but what could it be? This phone has only been synced with my computer once or twice. I have made NO modifications of any kind to the phone or itunes. Please help! Should I try to exchange this one too?!!

Hey you are not alone Nathan I am on my 4th IPhone and the last one they gave me, The apple store never did a Full Restore I found under settings Calltime of 4 days 21 hours and I had just got the phone the day before I called Apple they told ME to do a Full Restore. lol, there has to be a problem with these Phones Batteries are they not suppose to last more than 5 hours before going RED!!! That is the reason for the new 3g IPhone. But we paid $400.00 plus the new ones pay $199.00. omg Now I know for a fact were all of our monies are going.

  • IPhone Shows Depleting Red Battery And Lightning Icon When I Plug It in.

When I plugged in My iPhone 5 to charge it, it just shows the depleting red battery and the lightning icon. My iPhone will not charge at all !!! Please Help Me!

It could be as simple as a bad cable or a bad charger.  If you have another compatible charger and cable, or can borrow one from a friend, see if that solves the problem.  Many cheap non-Apple chargers and cables can also cause these problems.

  • IPhone stuck on "Connect to iTunes" screen. Connect to computer, "USB device not recognised". Can't reset. Suggestions?

Above says it all. Frustrated, no one seems to have an answer. Anyone know of anything that could get me closer to fixing it?
Happened when iPhone 4 was updated to iOS 5. Problem was Kaspersky was on - I know this because I have had trouble when updating my iPhone in the past when it was on. Unable to get anywhere in terms of restoring because it's stuck on Connect to iTunes screen, computer won't recognise it and reset won't work.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had this problem before and fixed it. Its happened to me again very recently so its not uncommon. I had to completely uninstall ITunes and most importantly uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support which can all be found in the uninstall programs in the control panel. once you have done that, re install the most up to date iTunes (don't worry about having to find another Apple Mobile Device Support software as the most up to date version of that gets installed with iTunes). Once that is done take out the USB cable make sure the iPhone is off or blank ad iTunes is not open. Then simply plug in the USB and iPhone you don't have to hold any buttons and the phone should light up and you get a message about the apple mobile device support software being installed then itunes opens asking if you want to restore this iPhone. if this doesn't work don't worry take out the phone and try a different USB socket making sure iTunes isnt open for some reason it doesnt like it open.
Hope that helps im only saying whats helped for me so sorry if it doesnt for you

  • Adapter Light Always Red, Battery Charge Never Gets Past 99%

    Hi.
My 2007 MacBook Pro's adapter is now showing only the orange/red light and never getting green. Also, the taskbar never shows 100% battery charge when the adapter is plugged in, but it does when you first remove the adapter.
My battery life is pretty short nowadays (never more than 45 to 60 minutes) and it's getting pretty hot near where the adapter connects. My fans seem to be running a lot more than usual, too.
    Any ideas?

    Do non-OEM batteries exist?
"Third-party" may be the better-understood term (I get "OEM" but others may not). Yes, there are some out there. However, one key item makes me nervous about them.
Other World Computing (OWC) sells an amazing number of Mac add-ons and replacement parts. It's my personal experience that they give excellent service after the sale, standing behind what they sell. OWC carries third-party batteries for Mac portables going back to the G3 Wallstreet, but they do not list any MBP batteries. This makes me think that they don't have confidence in what's out there.
Here is a site listing third-party MBP batteries (scroll down a bit):
    http://www.global-batteries.com/index.php/cPath/1_12/sort/2a/page/1
Note that the prices aren't much less that what Apple charges, especially for the 17: model. I ordered a battery for a Wallstreet PowerBook from that vendor and it was identical to an Apple-branded battery yin every way except the sticker on it. It was a good battery, but I have no way of knowing if their MBP batteries are from the same vendor as the Wallstreet batteries.
