IPhone stuck on restore -- need to get some photos off!
Hi,
My iPhone is stuck in restore mode. I don't know how it got like that, it was freezing up and I tried to reset it, maybe I did it on accident.
Anyways, I have some photos on it that I need to get off -- so I don't want to do the restore yet! Every time I connect it to my iTunes it says that it is in restore mode. How can I take it out of restore mode to get these pictures off of it first??

I need help getting some photos off a really old ipod
Ok so here it is.... My grandparents way back when gave me an ipod video, I just recently found it and realized it has photo's on it that I would like to keep. My problems are 1. I don't have the original computer I used for it 2. when I plug it in my computer thinks it's a hard drive 3. autoplay won't give me the option to import the photo's to my computer and 4. itunes doesn't seem to have an option to transfer photo's from ipods to your pictures folder.... if any one could help I'd appriciate it.
The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos. So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option. You can Google for more.

Not true. You get one and only one download.
In some instances, itunes has allowed another download to a few. This is not the norm.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow.

Hi, I'm a bit low on memory and I can't update the iOS. I need to move some photos off the iPad but I don't want to transfer them to a pc, I'd prefer to transfer them to iCloud and leave them there. Is that possible?
Yes, you could, because in this case you would have something like a backup in the cloud. BTW, personally I also like Flickr. Flickr offers you 1 TB (1000 GB) of free storage and automatic upload for photos since iOS 7 (it is a very attractive offer, at least for me)

I need to get my Photos off of my iPod touch...
I have a iPod touch 16GB and a MacBook Pro.
Recently, I upgraded my Mac to Leopard, and had to wipe my HD. I thought that i had backed up all of my files to disks. Turns out that one folder didn't back up, and it was from my pictures, and they are pictures that are really important to me! They are still on my iPod Touch and I would like to get them off.
Does anybody know how I could do this? Are there any programs?You may be able to find a program to transfer the photos off of the ipod touch back to your computer, but they will not be the same resolution as they were before. Itunes resized the photos before it transfered them to the ipod, so they will be of now a fairly low resolution even if you can transfer them back.

I dropped my iphone in a cup of coffee and it turned on for a short amount of time and now all it will do is show me the apple symbol for about 10 seconds and isnt recognised on my laptop please help!

I need to get my photos off my ipod and onto another computer... How do I do that? How do I access them at all? I have almost a gig of photos on it but I have no idea how to access them.

even if you cant do it by iTunes, its pretty simple to do it with the normal WinXP explorer, or from my PC, just tell ya somethin, this will only work if you set up iTunes to also copy full resolution photos into your iPod
here's what you gotta do
. set up windows to make it show all hidden files and folders
. go to my pc, right click your iPod, select explore, a new window will open
. you'll see some folders, like music, calendar, notes, etc, etc
. in that same window, double click photos
. now double click the folder "full resolution"
. you'll see a folder or several with year numbers
. copy all of them into your HD, preferibly into my docs, but not into my pictures folder
. now, explore in-depth those folders
. if you get into one you'll see now several folders numbered in order
. if you get into any you'll see your photos
. now just copy and paste all the photos into my pictures, it'll be tuff but its worth the effort
i dunno if you can use winzip, winrar or winace? to get the pics out of them, try it out, please leave a comment for results... -
I have an Iphone 36s. I need to get contents of messages that were sent on the phone in June of this year. I read online that the phone has an internal storage that keeps all data when phone is used and that this internal storage can be accessed. I need the contents of particular messages for evidence in court. How do I get into the internal storage? I've tried some of the methods that people post online, but none of them have been successful. Help!
If you still have a backup from that point in time as part ofr your computer backup history, you could restore the backup folder, restore the phone from that backup and have the messages on the phone.

Help!The passcode is needed only when you try to restore unsing a computer the phone never synced with before. Restore using the computer you sync with.

Help!!!!! I need to get iphoto lib off of hd which is running really slowly, and clicks rather more loudly than usual, how do i do this, im even on my iphone asking this! Computer also runs inly marginally faster in safe boot mode! Could the apple store help?
It certainly sounds like your harddrive is dying. I would Immediately backup your harddrive to an external USB or Firewire harddrive Before doing anything else. It just may save your data in time before you lose it all.

I saved photos from my Macbook Pro onto my Iphone (using itunes, 4 years ago). My macbook is now dead and I need to get the photos I saved off of my iphone 3GS transferred to a pc. Any help... From my PC I can only access "internal storage"
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The picture sycn is one way - computer to iphone. The photos are also reduced in size when synced to iphone so they are not of the original quality
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good at all, you can e-mail the pics to yourself - keep in mind they will never be of the original quality -
i have tried to update my iphone 3gs and i need to get ios5 and when i click on check for updates it says that itunes can not be contacted and check my internet connection but i have internet? how else can i get ios5 on my phone?
edit the hosts file on your computer and remove any lines that contain gs.apple.com. Disable your antivirus and firewall.

A friend of mine was recently in an accident and we need to delete some photos from her iPhone's "Photo Stream From my Computer" album, but cannot figure out a way to do it (there's no delete button). Help?
Sounds like it was synced from her computer using iTunes. Connect the phone to her computer, open iTunes, click on the name of her phone in iTunes, go to the Photos tab and see if this folder is checked. If so, unchecking it and syncing will remove them all, or deleting/moving the photos from the folder on her computer and syncing will remove the deleted/moved photos.
