IPhone stuck on start screen...

I turned my phone off and then turned it back on and it is stuck on the start screen with only the apple logo showing. I tried turning it back off and on again, plugging it in my computer and it did nothing. I feel I might have to use my warranty. I just wanted to know if anybody had any other thoughts.
Thanks.

Thank you so much for answering back.
I called AT&T after a while and they sent me to their Apple Support number and the operator told me to hold down the Home Button and the Sleep Button at the same time until the screen flashed and then you let go of the buttons and it reboots all by itself. So that problem was solved then I tried to access an app and it would pop up and then crash before it got any further. So I plugged it in my computer and it did its thing and once it told me to unplug it, I did and all my apps were working again, so its all good
If you are still having problems I hope this helps you.
Thanks again.

i downloaded ios5 an error message 3002 came up now my iphone stuck on loading screen and itunes doesnt recognize my iphone.
now my iphone has a blank screen for a couple seconds the loading screen appears then apple re appears.
A REPEATING CYCLE now i have No PHONE!!!! Help ME PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    Try it...
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, itunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
i´ve done it and worked 100%

Are you using the SIM that came with the iPhone?
Try re-seating the SIM as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1438
Did this happen when you attempted to update the iPhone? Have you used any 3rd party software to unlock the iPhone?

  • IPhone stuck on off screen

I tried turning of my iPhone 3G off and now it is stuck on the screen with the timer waiting to finally shut off.  It has been on this screen for a while now. I just wanted to restart my phone. What do I need to do to finally shut it off?

To restart:  Press and hold the sleep/wake button until you see the red slider then swipe to power off. Then press and hold the sleep / wake button until you see the Apple logo.
To turn it off press the sleep / wake button then swipe the slider to power off.

  • IPhone stuck on startup screen, crashes iTunes when I connect

I'm running an original iPhone. I upgraded to v2 of the OS when it came out, and was running apps with no problems until today. Today I bought a couple of new apps. When I connected the phone to my Mac, it backed up, updated the apps, and ran fine for a while. Then I tried one of the new apps (Grocery List). It didn't run. I tried it again. It crashed my phone. I'm stuck on the startup screen (with the centered Apple logo). I've tried rebooting, but I can't get past this screen. iTunes runs fine on my Mac laptop until I connect the phone, at which time I get the spinning beachball. My phone is stuck on the startup screen, and is getting real hot.
    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Same frustrating boat. Attempting to force a restore as I type this out. iPhone was fine all since the 2.0 update, and did the 2.0.1 update earlier today. All seemed fine throughout the day. And at the end of the day I decided to delete an app from my iPhone and then decided to restart. That's when the apple logo stayed on the screen for what seemed forever. I've noticed it taking a while in the past, but I let it "work" for about 5 minutes and still the same apple start-up screen. Tried a force restart which did no good. Now as it's restoring I keep thinking about how long it's been taking to do a backup of the phone and so I usually just skip it.
Granted there will always be growing pains when you let hundreds of other developers all "play on your playground" at once (referring to the app store), but I can't help but feel that Apple better (great itunes just told me that the backup is corrupt) fix these problems quick as they're losing the faith of new customers and even loyal early adopters.

  • IPhone stuck on battery screen!

Hi all, today I decided to completely drain my iPhone 5 battery for conditioning. After the screen blacked out, I proceeded to charge my phone (plugged it into the wall socket) and left it to charge for about half an hour or so. Usually, the red battery screen would show to indicate that the phone is charging, and then after like 5 minutes or so the phone would start up. However, my phone does not do that, and is stuck on the battery screen. BUT, it IS charging. Instead of showing a red line (like many users experience such issue), the battery logo is now halfway green, which clearly shows that it's charging. So I thought hm, at least it is charging, and so I left it until the whole bar's full. Then I unplugged it and booted the phone up, and voila! It did show a full charge. This has been happening for quite a couple of weeks now, and I've tried searching the net for solutions but was unable to find someone who had a similar issue. Please help! ):
P.S. I am able to boot it up directly from the battery screen and continue to use my phone normally. This just started happening like about a month ago, and before this it was completely normal...

    Buzzz! Thank you for Playing!
Sorry, if you want support here or from Apple, you're going to have to buy a new phone.
    And don't jailbreak it.

If it won't restore, you'll need to take it to the Apple Store for an evaluation.

  • Iphone stuck on white screen with black apple logo

I was updating my Iphone 5 to the new update and left it plugged in to finish the update. When I came back it was stuck on the white loading screen and a message on the computer said iTunes could not connect to the Iphone because it was locked with a passcode and wants me to enter the passcode. However I cannot enter the passcode because the phone won't let me. I cannot get the iphone to shut off or restart as my top button hasn't been very responsive lately. Any suggestions I leave the country for a month on the fourth and need a working phone asap.

You should contact Apple. There is a replacement program for defective power buttons.https://ssl.apple.com/support/iphone5-sleepwakebutton/

  • IPhone stuck on lock screen? Buttons don't work?

So, 11 minutes ago, I guess, I was just opening my iPhone 4 and the slider got stuck at the end. Now no buttons work, nor the touch screen, and it still says 6:18 pm...now it's 6:30. The slider is still at the very right of the bar, as though it's about to open, but it isn't. I tried plugging it in to my computer with the USB and it says in iTunes that is "cannot connect to iPhone because there is an invalid response" or something like that. So I have no idea what to do.... SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME! I need to use the phone immediately! I can't do a single thing!

Reset the iPhone, hold at same time both the Home and Power buttons for about 15 seconds, the iPhone will turn off by itself and then it will turn on, done.
