Iphone sync via bluetooth on PC

I have a hard time connecting my Iphone 3gs to my pc via bluetooth, it is pairing but it does not connect, it is telling me that the driver is missing does someone have an idea where can I find the driver.

Plugging in the iPhone could be easy but I have desktops and laptops. The USB lead isn't always near by or in the right pc. Besided all my preivous phones connected as I walked close enough to my main pc updateing even if I wasn't needing to do it at that time. Now if I want my calendars to be sync'ed I have to plug the pair together and wait for iTunes to load and the phone and outlook to sync. I want my things to work for me, make life quicker and easier. That's why you can buy fridges that connect to the net and order milk and eggs for you when you run out.
A gadget should just work that's thire point in life!

  • Syncing via bluetooth disabled?

AT&T customer support just told me that our syncing via bluetooth is disabled until we buy tethering. Is this true? If so, why?
If it is not true, why does the iPhone pair correctly but then pops up a message on the phone saying we "do not have the necessary services".
The device's bluetooth capabilities should not disable sync to my own Macs. This is crippling the device for no reason. Simply disable the device from tethering when attempting to connect to the Internet via bluetooth.
    Could someone enlighten me?
We finally broke down and signed a contract for a GSM iPhone. It's the best. But AT&T and other "pipes" have had trouble keeping up with Apple's innovation -- or so it appears.

I bought two iPhones and just assumed they would build in bluetooth capabilities as they did with the ipods. I just wanted to upload a few iphone apps I bought on my computer to the iphones. Syncing contacts and calendars is more involved.
If I can sync with a cable, then why not via bluetooth? Perhaps this is something Apple does not support at this point?
Then bluetooth on the iphone must be used only for tethering? In what other ways is it useful?
    Thanks for the quick response.

  • How can I link my iPad Air and iPhone 4s via Bluetooth, please?  They haveBluetooth turned on but will not find each other.

How can I link my iPad Air and iPhone 4s via Bluetooth, please?  They both have Bluetooth turned on but will only search and find nothing. The words 'Now Discoverable' appear under the search panel.

for the devices to find each other via Bluetooth you would need to turn on the iPhones cellular hotspot and then let them search for each other. As far as I have found this Bluetooth connection is only for connecting the iPad to internet via iPhones data plan.
To transfer photos you could setup a new photo stream and put the photos you want transferred in it. When it syncs to the iPad you can save directly to the camera roll and delete the photo stream. You may also be able to delete the photos old photos and re-add them to photo stream so it looks like they are new to the iPad.

  • Wireless Dre Beats & iPhone 4 (via Bluetooth)

I'm struggling to connect my new Wireless Beats by Dre (Headphones) to my iPhone 4 via Bluetooth. No such problems exist when I connect them to my Macbook. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the (negative) answer. So the only way to synchronize the iphone with the MacBook is to use the cable? Would not have expected that is does not work ...

  • Why can i not connect my iphone 4S via bluetooth to my macbookair?

i have tried to connect my iphone 4s via bluetooth and it says that my macbook air is not supporting this feature after i follow all the steps when connecting. Can someone help me with this problem?

The only thing you can connect an iPhone to your Macbook over BT for would be tethering, which would be done through the Personal Hotspot settings on the iPhone, not the BT settings. iOS doesn't support the BT profiles for trasferring files.

  • How can i connect macbook pro with iphone 4 via bluetooth?

I`ve connected iphone with macbook pro few weeks ago for i-net surfing, but i had to use cable. Now i wanna try icloud, and i`ve faced that trouble. My mbp sees iphone, makes pair, but fails to connect it. If i try it with iphone, a message "mbp cant be connected, it isn`t connectible device"-something like this- appears and mbp disappears from known devices list. How can i solve that?
    MacBookPro8,3 (17")-june 2011
    Boot ROM:          MBP81.0047.B1E
    SMC:          1.70f3
    Mac OS X 10.6.8 (10K549)
    iphone 4 16 gb
    model MC603ZA
    ios 4.3.5 (8L1)
    boot rom 04.10.01

I have somehow the same problem. I just bought the new iPhone 4S and tried to connect it to my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.6, latest version, model 2011). The Phone did not see the Mac but the Mac the Phone, so I connected the Phone via Mac.
It worked for about 5 seconds, but then I got this error message:
It's German and means that the network is not available.
Of course I tried again to connect, but I now get always this error:
It says that the device is not available...
I deleted the iPhone from the list under Mac and tried again, but it's still the same.
No my Questions to the community:
Why does the iPhone not see the MacBook?
    Why does it allways disconnect?

  • I cannot seem to sync via bluetooth with any other phone.  it says not capable.  what do i need to do?, i cannot seem to sync via bluetooth with any other phone.  it says not capable.  what do i need to do?

i tried to sync my iphone with my old phone to transfer all the contacts over via bluetooth but it said that the phone is not sopported.  what do i need to do?  will i have this problems with alot of phones? is there another way i can transfer over the contacts.  thank you.

The iPhone does NOT support Bluetooth synch to other phones.  You need to export your phone contacts to a computer to a program such as Address Book or Outlook and then synch those contacts to your iPhone using iTunes.

  • My new macbook pro retina won't connect to my iPhone 4s via bluetooth

Just bought macbook pro retina. have had iPhone 4s for two years and use it to tether my iPad to regularly no problem. however the macbook pro won't connect to the iPhone via bluetooth. it recognises it's there and a connection code is displayed, but when I enter the code it won't connect and the phone insists that I agree to 'forget this device'. how do I enable tethering so I can use the 3g signal to browse on my laptop whilst travelling please?

Only thing I could suggest would be to "Reset Network Settings" on the phone (Settings> General> Reset>) . Of course, this will forget and delete any saved Wi-Fi or network configurations, but if that's not a problem for you then, maybe worth a shot.
Although saying that, I think iCloud remembers old settings (if you are connected and sharing network configurations), so may not be a total loss.

  • I can't connect my iphone 4 via bluetooth with my car phone

I cant connect my iphone via bluetooth with my car phone. Bluetooth is switched on on the iphone and the car phone says ready for bluetooth telephony yet the phone just keeps on searching without connecting? Any ideas as Apple phone support doesn't start until 9am (not very accommodating for a company whose equipment runs 24/7)

    Car phone?

  • How do I transfer iPhone contacts via Bluetooth to my car

I just bought a Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 and I cannot figure out how to transfer my Verizon iPhone contacts to the MB console via Bluetooth vCard upload. Having trouble fidning a resource that can enlighten me on this.

The iPhone 4 does not support the OPP profile that is required for Bluetooth contact transfer.  So your out of luck using conventional methods.
Who knows?  Maybe iOS 5 will allow this... I know that they have improved bluetooth support, however I don't know if that includes OPP.
