Iphone syncs but not with email

I'm getting an email sync error when trying to sync my 3GS with Itunes (10.2.1.17). Everything else syncs O.K. but for email it says 'can't sync email accounts to the Iphone because the mail accounts are in use by the Iphone'. I tried turning off the wireless but I still get this message. Any ideas? Should I worry?

iPhones don't "sync" email itself using iTunes. You can sync the email account settings from your email app on your computer, but there's no reason to do that more than once, when first setting up your phone.

The templates are stored locally. If you want to move a template then you can open the tempate on the machince where they already exist, then save as a file (let's say on you desktop), then email, or move (using a flash drive) to the Mac mini.
Open the file on the mac mini and save as a template.
I do not have Numbers on an iOS device so I cannot say how to get it to your iphone. I would think you can share the document using iCloud then open from iCloud on the phone and save as a template.

IPhone receiving but not sending emails!

My work iPhone 5c is receiving emails but I can't send any! My service provider couldn't get it to work on this phone, but we got the email to work just fine on my personal iPhone 5s. Is there something wrong with the iPhone itself? Any suggestions?

No, the settings are all right. We couldn't get that phone to work, so we attached the email to 2 other iPhones and it worked fine on both of those phones.

One iPod and iPhone Syncs but not the others

My daughter has both a iPhone and iPod that are not recognized by either iTunes or her laptop. However when I use my iPhone and iPod they are immediately recognized using the same cable. It looked in Mail, which had 5 email accounts set up in it, and for some reason picked the only one that I no longer use because it is for a school that I no longer attend. How can I fix it so that it syncs with the correct email account for notes and calendar? There don't seem to be any settings available other than to check if you want to use the basic features. It also said during the set up that it was setting up 'find my mac' but if I look on the iCloud website there is nothing showing there for finding my mac.
At this point I feel like I wasted my money paying for this supposed upgrade. I got nothing for it but frustration. It even automatically set my security settings to allow only downloads from the Mac store so the first time I went to download something I had to stop what I was doing and go correct settings first. I feel like there should be a security setting to block downloads from the Mac store so I don't accidentally end up clicking the wrong thing and being charged.

iCloud isn't syncing them on your phone. You simply added the email account to your phone and enabled calendar and notes syncing with the email provider, and the calendar and notes appear in the calendar and notes apps on your phone. You can do this with Gmail, Yahoo and other IMAP account. iCloud email is just another IMAP account, but syncs notes with Apple's iCloud server just as Gmail syncs notes and calendars with Google's server.
iCloud didnt' set up a non-iCloud account on your Mac. When you check Mail in System Preferences>iCloud, it only creates an iCloud email account. You can also add other email accounts to your Mac by going to System Preferences>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and clicking on the "+" sign on the bottom of the left sidebar. If you added these other email accounts to your Mac before you upgraded to Mountain Lion, these were simply maintained on your Mac after you upgraded.

First, make sure that all your devices are using the same Apple ID in iMessages including your Mac. Second, your messages that you've already started on your devices will not show up on your Mac - only ones that you start from now on will show up. Third, if you're still not syncing accross all devices, make sure you read the directions on the first page of this thread. It should work after performing those steps. Good luck!

Photos which are uploaded through icloud control panel are only synced with iPhone but not with iPad. Photos taken with iPhone or iPad are synced with all devices. So, why I do not get the uploaded photos from my pc to iPad? I alredy disabled photo stream on all devices - same failure

If only one device is not getting updated data, you need to troubleshoot that device and not photostream itself.
Verify that ipad is connected to wifi, charged over 20 percent, camera app is closed and take a photo of the screen (or anything else, but then close that camera app).
Open photostream folder on that ipad and see if picture shows up. If you network is good, should not take long.
Don't forget that while your phone can use wifi and cellular (even it suppose to use wifi for photostream, cellular networks got much better since original photostream was implemented) - you ipad is probably wifi only.
If picture shows up - you ipad and photostream have no problems and you can go to other devices one by one.

Outgoing Mail Server > SMTP "relay.skynet.be"
Primary server > Not Configured > Off

When you set them up, did you set up both the incoming and outgoing email servers separately, and did you enter the correct SMTP server name, and enter your userid and password even though it says "optional"?
Something else to try, if you haven't, is delete the accounts, connect the iPhone to iTunes, on the Info tab check the box to sync mail server settings, then sync. This should duplicate the settings from your computer to your iPhone.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

well first make sure that when you click on the name of your iphone on the left hand side of itunes that you go to the app and music tab and check mark the sync apps and sync music. then try clicking apply in the bottom right hand corner. then if not try doing it again after going to prefrences in the top menu and going to devices tab and click reset sync history if that doesnt work with music try and drop and drag to the name of your iphone, lastly if that doesnt work you can try restoring from a backup from before you updated. it will keep the new software but put everything that was on your phone when you created the backup back onto your phone.

- An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. Yu can however manage music and videos among different computers by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
- To change syncing computer, move all the media to compute r#2
- Connect the iPod to #2 and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note tha the iPod backup the iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts and Calendars
Tap on your mail account
Scroll to the bottom
Tap on Advanced
Tap on "Delete from server" and set it to "Never"
