IPhone transfer to iPad 2?

Just bought an iPad 2. When I first sync it with iTunes, will all of my content from my iPhone transfer over to the iPad (apps, contacts, mail settings, etc.)?

Where did the photos on the iPhone come from? What is in Camera Roll on the iPhone?
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad and iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

I am trying to switch my imob account from my iphone to my ipad and when I try to transfer, the ipad says that i cannot transfer another imob account to it because I bound the imob account to the device that is already on the ipad. This is driving me crazy. Every time I try to permanently delete the imob app from the ipad and download a new one, it opens to my existing app that I keep deleting. I wiped the ipad clean numerous times. I even tried using a different apple id to download it. Nothing it working. Why can't I get rid of the information stored in the app that is on the ipad? It's creepy how it won't go away. So if I sold the ipad and someone else tried to download their own game, they would not be able to because my original information that is saved on the game would keep coming up. Any help is appreciated.

ICloud Photo Library: How do I transfer photos and videos only from my iPhone to my iPad but not from my iPad to my iPhone?

I had iCloud photo libraey turned on on both my iPad and iPhone. As said by the feature, photos and videos were being transferred automatically from each device to each other. I have a 64GB iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 5 only has 16GB of storage so I am lacking much more space on my iPhone than my iPad. I was wondering if there was a way to transfer photos only from my iPhone to my iPad but not from my iPad to my iPhone. Would turning off iCloud Photo library on my iPad do the trick? Thanks hope someone can help me out.

iCloud Photo Library keeps all of your photos in the Cloud which you then can selectively download. So, unless you download the iPad photos, they are not going to be taking up any room on your iPhone:

I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

My 16gb iphone 5 iOS 7.1 is advising my storage is almost full. I've just purchased a 32gb Ipad air wifi iOS 7.1 and would like to permanently transfer my photos & video and downloaded tv shows from the iphone to the ipad, then delete said photos, video and tv shows off my iphone without it then deleting off my ipad. Can this be done? By what method?
In regards to the photos, I started doing the transfer via the shared stream option but realised if I then deleted off my iphone it would delete off my other devices i.e. ipad, as well. In regards to the TV shows I've managed to sync the iphone and ipad so that both devices are displaying all TV shows - I think I did this through itunes? - but I'm hesitant to now delete off my iphone before confirming they'll stay on the ipad.
Apologies for the convoluted questioning...I've tried researching this myself but just can't seem to get my head around it.

So i'm thinking of getting an iPad. I already have an iPhone 4 32GB. I cannot afford anything larger than the 16GB ipad, so I am wondering if there is any built in utility or app where I can transfer songs, pictuers, music, etc. from my iphone to my ipad but WITHOUT the use of itunes or any computer at all. I was figuring that I have enough room on my iPhone to keep all my stuff, and whenever I needed that "stuff" on my iPad I can just transfer files as needed from iPhone to iPad, removing un-needed "files" from the iPad to make room for the needed ones.
I understand that i can do all this through iTunes, but if I dont always sync or dont think ahead for what I will need on my ipad for that day, i need something to be able to transfer "whatever" from one to the other "on-the-go".
So to sum up or re-phrase, I was thinking of using my iphones' large capacity as a storage location and transfer movies, music etc. to ipad as needed when i'm away from my computer at home. is there any such utility or app for this?

Sorry, but there is no way to transfer content directly from one iOS device to another. You need to use either iTunes or, for such content as is supported, iCloud.

Can you no longer connect an iPhone to an iPad transfer photos?

Hey all, I used to connect my iPhone 4s to my iPad 2 via the camera connection kit to transfer photos to the iPad. When connected the iPhone would show up just like a camera SD card in photos. With the new iPad 3 or new ios update this no longer seems to work. I get an error that this accessory is not supported (when I connect the camera connection kit to the iPhone). Can anyone else confirm this is the case or is there something wrong with my camera connection kit? Cheers.

I noticed in your post you stated the camera kit is connected to the iPhone, not the iPad. When I tried it this way I don't get an error message, but nor do I get any interaction between the two devices. Did you normally insert the camera connection kit directly into the phone? If so, try the camera kit to the iPad and run the USB cable to the iPhone's 30-pin connector instead. This way works for me w/ no issues.

Welcome to the Support Communities! I would suggest you transfer your iPad purchases to your computer using iTunes. Then connect your iPad to the computer and add the content that you want to your iPhone. Not all iPad apps are compatible with iPhone, so check the compatibility in the app's information page.
