IPhone TROUBLE!!!! WHY ME???

Question

ok i am usually not one to complain about apples products but this is rediculous it might be a simple fix but whatever.MY iPhone 3G has been having a few problems but it all has to do w/ calling.Here they are ill even make a list.
1.When my phone rings the whole ringtone never plays.
2.When i answer my phone its almost always a missed call.
3.When im talking on it the screen shuts off and does not turn back on till i put it to my face. This makes it hard for me to do anything while im talking.And they say u can browse the internet ur photos while u talk not me.
4.I haven't seen the slide to answer feature, I liked that feature.
5.I never had any of these problems with my regular iphone that i bought in the states.
6.Dropped Calls.
Any advice on any of these issues would be greatly appreciated HOPE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE. THANKS IN ADVANCE:)

You can contact your carrier and ask to wait the appropriate number of seconds before answering (of course with different ring tones per person you cannot set this on a per person basis so one would repeat instead if the ring tone is repeating.
Try standard troubleshooting http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1737
Check how many bars of signal you are getting. Try disabling 3G and see if you have the same issue. Contact your carrier.
Try reset your proximity sensor is working backwards.. or maybe settings > general > reset > reset all settings or even restore. That could be hardware.
Slide to answer should only appear if the screen is locked.
If reset and restore as new doesn't resolve and carrier says all is good with the account i'd contact Apple for service
Dropped calls could be a bad SIM (which could be the same as missed call). run it by your carrier.
