[iPhone] - Troubles with the NavigationBar transparency - Possibily a bug

Hi,
It seems some people including me are having problems with the NavigationBar especially when we are trying to use the transparency as it is used in the Photo application (the photos are visible under the NavigationBar and ToolBar at the bottom).
I found those threads, they seem to be having the same issue:

So this is what I've found (mostly using trial/error).
After creating a new NavigationBar Application, I simply set the Top Bar "Simulated Metric" to "Translucent Black Navigation" and the "Status Bar" to "Translucent Black". Et voilà, the table view (which is the unique view) is displayed properly underneath as the images shows :

+However, I have not been able to change Status Bar's color to black on the simulator. It's black on Interface Builder, "default" on the Simulator.+
Next, I tried to replace the table view with a simple UIView.

It seems to work on the Interface Builder, the ActivityIndicator is displayed underneath the NavigationBar. However, on the simulator it's quite something else :

As you can see, the ActivityIndicator has changed his position to be displayed under the NavigationBar.
I believe this is a bug otherwise I would really appreciate to know how to fix this annoying problem.

    If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

    I don't see SIMYO anywhere on the list of supported carriers: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937
    Unless you're talking about a carrier on this list, you're going to have to work it out with them. It's possible their network is just not compatible. They are definitely not a supported carrier.

Yes, the volume is turned up, it is synced & paired, but almost a whisper comes out. Anyone have any ideas? I assume it's the iPad since the phone works fine.... Help!

    Thanks.  We went to Best Buy, where we bought our phones and altho we thought we were "seeding" the ear buds far enough, we were not.  There's that extra little "click" and they were in!  So, they work well enough for our old ears.  But, thanks for your input!

    No, my "P" or "p" works just fine. If you think there is something wrong with your new iPhone 5 contact AppleCare or return it to your local Apple Store without delay, the longer you wait the harder it will be to get a replacement.

    is anyone having trouble with the keyboard sensitivity on the iphone? I am typing, but can sometimes get a delay of 5 seconds or more before the letters actually appear on the screen.
    This is across all apps.
    Does not seem to be an issue with opening apps or scrolling etc., but only with the keyboard.

    I had this problem after downloading Dropbox. Once I uninstalled it, my keyboard was fine.

    I'm having trouble with the repeat function on iTunes 11.  The buttons are there but will not allow me to repeat an album when selected under artist from remote app on iPhone.  I have downloaded the update for the remote app but the repeat function now repeats all albums under that artist name.  Selecting the album directly under albums works but is not as easly to access.  Any thoughts?

  • I am having trouble with the Family Feud app.

    I am having trouble with the Family Feud app. It loads to a certain point then shuts down. Right after it says "Welcome to family Feud".  I've tried re-installing it by deleting in from the iPhone 3Gs, but no luck. I've deleted it from the phone, shut down the phone, deleted it from iTunes on my computer. Restarted the phone synced, re-downloaded the app, all to no avail. 
    And what may be related, some other apps seem slower these days. Nothing extra running in the background.

    If you've jailbroke the iPhone, that could have caused the problem.
    If that isn't it and the other basic stuff hasn't fixed it, you can try restoring the iPhone and setting it up as a new device.

    That's probably because they're not registered.
    Messages only works if your friend has an iphone.
    There is a workaround that can work, though.
    set up an AIM account online.
    in System preferences > mail, contacts, and calendars, enter your new AIM account.
    in Contacts, on your friend's contact card, look for AIM. Enter their phone number right before that, with a +1 before it, and the area code:  i.e., +11234567899.
    This doesn't always work. Their cellular carrier has to cooperate with AIM. Some do, some don't. If it doesn't work, tell your friend to get an iPhone.

    I understand you have done all necessary troubleshooting steps that should have enabled you to send messages to iPhone users without them having to disable iMessage. Have you tried contacting Apple Support regarding the inability to send a text message to iPhone users? Apple can be reached at (800) 275-2273.
    In addition, do you get a certain error message when your WiFi stops working? Have you verifed that Auto Switch network is disabled? To disable this setting simply to go Settings > Wi-Fi > Tap the Menu Key(to the left of the home button) > Select Advanced and it is called `Auto network switch. If you are still experiencing difficulties, please feel free to reach out to us for further assistance.

    Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities. 
    Here are some troubleshooting steps that I could recommend when experiencing Home button issues.  The article below is labeled for the iPhone, but the steps are the same for your iPad. 
    The Home button is slow to respond
    If the Home button is slow to respond when exiting one application, try another application.
    If the issue exists only in certain applications, try removing and reinstalling those applications. Get further assistance in installing and troubleshooting applications.
    If the issue continues, Try turning iPhone off and then on again. If the iPhone will not restart, try resetting it.
    If the issue is still happening, try to restore the iPhone.
    Seek service is the issue is still occurring.
    The Home button isn't working
    Put the iPhone to sleep.
    Wait a couple of seconds.
    Press the Home button.
    iPhone should wake up.
    If iPhone does not wake up, then iPhone should be serviced.
    If the issue persists after all the steps have been processed see the last section labeled issue not resolved.

    Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
    if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
    Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement.
