IPhone TV advert - really, is it that fast Apple, really?
We all know that an advert will always present the perfect face of a product, but we also know there is a thin line between good presentation and distorting a products performance.
When the latest iPhone advert appeared on my TV last night I couldn't help notice just how different the performance was between the one on the TV and one in my hand - not even close. The latest v2.0 software is no where near as fast as the advert suggests. Misleading, plain and simple.
Perhaps they were using v2.0.1
The old adverts were misleading too. They made a point about internet on the iPhone not being a "watered down version of the internet" but "just the internet" , then when you actually hold the phone in your hand you see it has no support for flash or java.

I am trying to follow the steps to switch from my old IPhone 4 to my new IPhone 5s. I am having several issues.
1. My Iphone 5s is telling me my Apple ID password is incorrect, it is not.
2. When I first turned on my IPhone 5s, it uploaded my IPad information. I don't want that to remain on the phone.
I am going crazy trying to get this new phone going. I cannot afford the $29.99 one time support and cannot make it to an Apple store during the work week. Is there anyone who can help?IF you have a backup for your iPhone 4, I suggest you to go on your new 5S to Settings / General all the way down to / Reset and then click on to Erase All Content and Settings.
PLEASE keep in mind that this will erase all the content of the machine and reset it to fabric.
Then, it will prompt again all the Configuration for the new iPhone, and when suggested to backup, choose the iPhone 4 one.
additional help: if you still have the iPhone 4 with all the data you want to copy, the quickest way its actually to back up to iCloud from the iPhone 4 and then do the Configuration for the new one... and shortly after connecting to a wifi network it will prompt you with a choose option between all your iCloud backups

I setup an Apple ID account on computer but im not allowed to access account on iPhone. It keeps telling me this Apple ID has not been used in the iTunes Store. I was wondering what could be causing this issue? If anyone else has experienced this issue, how did you resolve it?

You could always try getting in contact with iTunes Support via expresslane.apple.com to see if they can look into your account and see why it is disabled.

Both my iphone and ipad are telling me that my apple ID is disable on the device, and I have already reset the password, sign out the apple id on the device, and sign back on, but I am still unable to update any of my app, because it is still saying that my apple ID is disabled on my devices, please help!

My iphone 3GS battery is draining off in 4 to 5 hours even in stand by condition.
Tried with all the applications and Wi Fi off.

Varghese paulThere is no reason that a brand new phone should be having problems. I would say return it for a new one because it's less then a week old or return it. It's unacceptable. I have been having software issues with my iPhone 3GS too. I feel that Apple did a half done job on the software and really failed to bring new features to their third gen. iPhone.

This really ***** that they sent out and update to the iPhone ISO6 and I can't send or receive pics! Being that its apple you would think they would know better than to send out a bad update like this! I'm paying for a service and I can even use now!!! I'm very upset! Think about canceling my iPhone 5 order! This is terrible!

IPhone 4 GSM overheating and battery draining fast.
I recently updated to 6.1.3 and eevr since my phone have been ovrheating and the battery has been draining REALLY fast. I have tried basic trouble shooting that includes mail, wifi, 3g, and even a factory restore to "new phone". The problem persists. Has anyone ls experienced this have found a fix? I also purchasd a new battery and am waiting for that to arrive. i will install this but I believe it is firmware related and not hardware. This is also in part because apple ran diagnostics and had said the battery appears to be oprating properly.

I had same issue, apple give me a new phone, they say it might be software problem, but the 2nd phone has fast drain too, I took it to apple , they restored my phone as new, and iCloud backed up my contact. I thought about the whole thing, I used to sync it to my window, but this time I synced it with my Mac. 87% at 3:30pm. I think that window has bugs. It is not my iPhone 5's problem. After all those stressful days.

HT4993 Why did I see a pop up window on my iPhone 4S that said "Apple Back Door"?
I went to Berlin, Germany and took my iPhone 4S. Before I left, I asked my carrier (Sprint) and the ignorant technician told me that if I wanted to use my phone for texting and calling locally in Germany, I just needed to go to any phone store and buy a sim card. Well, I did, and the sales technician in Germany was not well versed with iPhones, so he tried twice to put in a Vodophone sim card, but it wouldn't work, and a 4 digit blank pin number page appeared, which at that time, I realized my iPhone was LOCKED. Sprint failed to tell me that. In any event, I used the phone over wifi to acess FB and other apps, which worked okay. Sprint also failed to tell me that I could have used iMessage over wifi to text my friends in Germany who also had the 4S, shame on Sprint, they shouldn't put an 18 year old at the desk who doesn't know blank! This time, I was really upset with Sprint.
But my question now, is when I opened a few apps, and it only happened twice, once in Germany at the Airport when I was about to leave, and once when I arrived back in the States, once I got off he plane and searched for a signal (I kept the iPhone in "airplane" mode all the time I was in Germany), a window quickly appeared and disappeared, but all I could see was on the top header of the white window, it said, "Apple Backdoor", and quickly turned as if was apage, and disappeared, and I still continued on. It didn't block anything I was trying to do on the phone, but I went to both Sprint and the Apple retail stores, and no one seems to have an answer, or even have said they never heard or seen such a window or app named "Apple Backdoor". Does anyone have any information on this? It is kind of making me suspicious of the technician in Germany, was he trying to access my iPhone's personal data (he took a long time)? Or was I being tracked by anyone, or perhaps government tracking because I was going overseas? I even tried to Google it, and all I come up with is something related to the FileApp Vault, which is about a Mac computer, not about an iPhone. There was an article written back in 2010, about the Indian Government exposing a flaw in the iPhones, accessing them through exactly what was worded "Apple Backdoor". Please, anyone, do you have any information on this, and do I need to take any precautions, or should I reinstall the new I OS 6 (the Apple technician at the retail store suggested it if I felt very uncomfortable).
"Apple Backdoor" - what is it, what does it mean - only for iPhones, not macs or iPads?It's not a virus. It's a JavaScript scam that only affects your web browser, and only temporarily.
Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
Close the malicious window or tab.
Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. From the menu bar, select

to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize. -
Can somebody help me install IOS 6.1.3 back to my iPhone 4. IOS 7 or 7.0.4 is not smooth enough as perfect as IOS 6.1.3. I am stuck with this OS, every app gives a break for 4-5 seconds to open up. And playing games in this OS using iPhone 4 is really crazy. Very much disappointed that I am not able to use IOS 7 and cant go back to what I need.

Every time I sync my iPhone with iPhoto I end up getting duplicate photos on my iPhone. The other problem is that I can not delete the dups on my iPhone. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
Mike whether I create a folder within the Pictures Folder that iTunes uses to sync photographs or just copy them into the main folder the result is the same, I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.

Create a album: When viewing albums, tap Edit, then tap Add. Select photos to add to the new album, then tap Done. Note: Albums created on iPhone aren’t synced back to your computer.
Rename an album Tap Edit, then select an album.
Rearrange albums Tap Edit, then drag up or down.
Delete an album Tap Edit, then tap the delete sign.
Yes I can Add a new Album, but cannot delete an album already created. The delete sign does not appear.
In iTunes the only folder that I can see listed is the man one into which iTunes stores pictures, which I have named iPhone Photos.
When I look on my PC this iPhone Photos folder contains another folder named iPod Photo Cache and a multitude of folders created by iTunes, the named F00, F01,F02 etc etc. and a Photo Database file.
Now whether I create a seperate folder within iPhone Photos to store my favourite photos in, or just copy them all into the iPhone Photos folder without being encased within another folder, or create a folder inside the iPod Photo Cache folder the result is the same ...
I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
I am going around in ever decreasing circles here and getting nowhere fast!! -

Apple is infamous for being restrictive and controlling.
The iPhone also doesn't connect to faster 4G networks, except the 4S version from AT&T, but whether you'll see noticeably faster speeds will likely be hit or miss. If you own a apple product? I feel for you, it like owning that old beat up rusty car you have to park way out back in the parking lot, and you pray no one see's you getting out of it.
Android phones are like PCs - they are extremely customizable - by carriers, handset makers and owners. Virtual keyboards, phone dialers, wallpaper, home screen widgets and much more can be done.
All told, Android is likely to be the Windows PC equivalent in the smart phone market, and the operating system is well-positioned to soon become the leading smart phone platform in the United States.
In closing, if you like being led around by the hand, go and get yourself one of those iPhones, and then stop crying about what you can not do with it.

How can I see the files that are attached to appointments in outlook
I store files in my appointments in Outlook on my work server that contain travel details, meeting agendas etc. I need to be able to access these on my ipad yet I can't find any way of making them come across to iCal.
